Ive got a 2021 mercedes. I plugged the device into the android auto/apple car play slot and connected my phone to it via bluetooth and it worked straight away. It now auto connects everytime i start the car and works seamlessly. Great product.
I have returned two previous adaptors purchased as they either didn’t work or worked intermittently at best. This one set up perfectly first time and has connected pretty much instantly every time of using since. So far so good. Long may it last.
Connected straight away on Suzuki infotainment system, didn’t drop the connection on the first drive, I need to do a bit more testing before I can say that it is a game changer, we will see as I have tried many Android Auto wireless dongles, they have all been returned as they would never stay connected, this dongle connects in a different way so wait out
Update!! The box stopped connecting after 2 days, couldn’t get it to connect at all, it has been returned
Don't bothe
It’s great until like mine the wire comes loose in the socket end which is a sealed part so like mine the wire came loose thought like most can unscrew it apart place wire back to the connector and screw all abck together how wrong I was so now it’s easier to buy a new one than buy the socket end and rewire it as it’s no different in price and they do this for that reason to make you buy a new one so even if the fuse goes you cannot change it without breaking the lighter socket end. Utter crap.

The item functions exactly as it’s supposed to do. I used it to power my sat nav and a tyre pressure monitor without any problem. It appears to be robust and should last a fair amount of time if it’s handled with care. Would recommend this item and this buyer.
Good value for money
This was a very good product, the only thing I would say is that the lead was a bit short for what we wanted it for, they seemed to measure the 1 meter lead from the front of the socket rather than just the lead, every cm counts!
