A lovely themed carousel for the little ones.
Our little one is at an age where she’s fascinated by lights and sound, and wants something that’s a bit more interactive than her other baby toys. We through this would be suitable and throughout the weeks that we’ve had it, I’m quite happy with it.
It’s a sea-themed carousel that rotates a turtle and dolphin inside, with a light that projects coloured patterns around the surface. It looks cute and our little one finds it mesmerizing to watch them. This can also play sounds and music which is easy to access via large buttons at the top.
The toy is also a good size – not too small nor is it heavy that she struggles with holding it. The plastic is smooth to the touch and well rounded so I didn’t notice any sharp or brittle parts. I do think the plastic in general is a bit on the lightweight and thin side – it’s held up well in terms of durability as she has thrown it off her high chair a couple times, but I think for the price I would’ve wanted something that felt a bit more premium.
The device is powered using batteries, however it does eat through them quite fast and if your little one has this powered on a lot throughout the day, you’ll need a spare pack or two of batteries within reach!
Sea creature projector for babies
This would be excellent if it was rechargeable but it uses batteries which need changing regularly if your child uses this toy a lot.
There are so many features to this, it rolls along the floor, projects lights and sounds and has big chunky buttons which my 1 year old finds very easy to operate. It’s colourful and has lots of sea creatures to look at. A really good toy for up to 2 years old.

Really like this infant toy.
It is nice and bright, attractive and engaging for the little one.
It is made from hard plastic and has taken a few knocks but still working fine.
You will require your own batteries, AA, and a small screw driver to open the compartment.
The sound quality is good and has lots of different interactive functions. Also love that it glides across the floor, helping to developing gross motor skills.
Would make a nice gift.

This is a nice little toy, its colourful and well made, its a toy that will entertain. The buttons give you different sound effects and the main one turns the roundabout on, it has lights and music. Its got some wheels on the bottom so it can easily be rotated to pushed by baby. Its very nice

Perfect for babies, toddlers and sensory tents.
Although this is sold as a toy for babies and young toddlers I ordered it for my soon to be four year old grandson who has severe autism and a developmental age of eighteen months and he absolutely loves it. He is mostly non verbal but shows his happiness with things by holding his arms out and twirling his hands while leaning forward, he would grab my hand to guide it to each button for him then do his twirling hands. He loved trying to count all of the lights on the floor (he loves counting everything) and he giggled at the dolphin noises. His mum said it’s his favourite toy at home in his sensory tent where he babbles away at it, he can make sounds just not speech, and outside of it where he can get the rest of his family to push the buttons for him.
Everything is powered by 3 AA batteries (not included) It has three small wheels on the base so it can slide across floors but only if you have laminate or another smoother flood covering as the wheels do not like carpet. It also feels really sturdy and that it will take being thrown or dropped.
I think it is reasonably priced for the play value, if you brought one of these for a new baby they would still be having fun with it when they become toddlers. Highly recommended.
Good Sensory Toy
This is a lovely well thought out toy. Lots of functions that will entertain and amuse for a long time. The buttons are a nice size for little hands to be able to grab. It seems quite sturdy too so should withstand been thrown or pushed around by toddlers. Lots of educational and sensory advantages to this toy. It has little wheels to glide around but works best on a hard floor rather than carpet although it can be rolled over on its side and will encourage the youngster to crawl after it. It does take batteries however hence the 4 star rating which aren’t supplied.
Grand Daughter Loves This
This keeps my Grand Daughter amused for hours, well build and very robust she plays with it for hours on and off on sleep overs. Ocean themed rotating Projector with music.
Great variety of sound/lights options and not too noisy
The good thing about this as opposed t other nursery toys is that it has a low volume option so it won’t drive everyone crazy when its in use. My 5 month old granddaughter loved watching the dolphin and turtle going round and particularly liked the lights function. There are plenty of sound and light options to keep her occupied.
Light up Ocean Carousel Projector Baby Toy
This is such a delightful stimulating baby toy and is very versatile as it can be played with freestanding (upright) or you can turn it onto it’s side and watch it roll and baby can crawl and chase after it. The toy needs 3 AA Batteries for operation which are not included although the listing does specify no batteries required. As well as the rolling function there are other modes such as soothing melodies, animal sounds, rotating dolphin and turtle and adorable light patterns making it very soothing for baby to play with. Overall a lovely interactive baby toy and would recommend.
A fun, feature filled toy!
This is a really versatile toy with loads of fun features. It comes well packaged and is brightly coloured with big chunky buttons which are perfect for little fingers to get to grips with.
It is lightweight too so will roll across the floor easily, great for encouraging little ones to get on the move, it also has ‘gliders’ on the underside of it so will also slide slong a tiled or smooth floor.
It’s got a night light and projector feature so this would be lovely for in a nursery at bedtime. Then during the day it can be more fun with music, moving little ocean creatures and so on.
It’s not the cheapest but it has lots of features and I think worth the price. My only beef is that it’s bettery powered so I docked a star as I hate having to shell out for batteries and the faff of changing them!

The product comes boxed without instructions (Some directions are printed in the product box) and is sealed in a transparent bag.
The item is made from good quality plastic that does not flex or creak. Several colours have been used to decorate the toy and these alternate between matt and gloss finishes. The transparent plastic lens is crystal clear and considering its convex shape it has minimal warping or distortion so you have a clear view inside. Everything is nicely rounded and smooth with no sharp edges or rough seams. Build quality is good and I would let my baby play with this.
Power is provided by three AA batteries (Not provided) and these are placed in the battery compartment located on the bottom. The battery cover is secured with a screw. Also on the bottom you will find three small wheels that rotate freely and a grill that protects the speaker. The on/off button is situated just underneath the upper rim and this switch also controls the volume level (quietish & loud). On the top of the toy several buttons of various colours and character designs surround a large central button that is shaped like a star. Inside the toy a dolphin and a turtle are suspended below a disco light and the floor is decorated with an aquatic themed collage.
Very simple to operate just turn on the power, choose a volume and let it do its thing. When turned on the dolphin and turtle carousel spins around inside and the disco light projects coloured dots of light onto the floor around the toy. The smaller buttons on the top activate the sounds/tunes and the large star button changes the colours of the disco light. And that’s it, dead easy.
I reviewed the other version of this with the ceiling projector and although quite similar I think this one is a bit more practical for little ones to play with. The colours are nice and varied, the buttons are springy and responsive and the little character designs are cute and quirky. Inside the toy the sea creatures spin around at just the right speed and the light show has a decent floor throw about two feet in diameter. Some of the tunes are nice, some are a bit odd and the built in sound effects are um, interesting. Build wise the product is solid and the materials used seem to be robust and of decent quality.
So any issues? Well I’ve had the toy on for a while and it hasn’t showed any signs of stopping yet but I imagine that the three AA batteries that power it won’t last forever due to spinning carousel so you might want to have some replacements handy. Also the wheels on the bottom allow the toy to be spun on flat surfaces like laminate but carpet is a no no. Lastly the carousel motor (Which cannot be turned off) is quite noisy and it emits a noticeable whine; not excruciatingly loud but it’s definately noticeable. Still despite these small quibbles
