Very loud bell, easy to set up
Easy to install. Sound can be altered, choice of chimes. Worth the cost. Can now hear if someone is ringing doorbell. Have installed one upstairs and one downstairs . Can be plugged in to a socket that is suitable and the chime is very loud and clear.

Got one of these for my home as I often hav my phone on silent so don’t see the doorbell notifications.
Over all the set up was really simple, with one exception you have to scan a QR code from the back of the device in the Arlo app. However, the code is so small it was really hard to pick up and the Arlo app doesn’t let you zoom, I had to take a photo on my device and email it to myself so I could scan the zoomed image. Once done this is plug and play.

The QR code will not scan on the app so take a photo of it, send to another device then scan the photo (it’s bigger) then you can set up easily.
Delivery charge
Very happy with the product however I was promised free delivery but a month later you took a delivery charge from my bank. I think no one should be allowed go back into your bank and take moneyit’s a disgrace.
Audible but could be loude
Bought because my wife has hearing loss and does not use mobile phone. It can be plugged in anywhere in the house, which is useful. Sound level can be varied but even at maximum it is not as loud as some chimes. Could do with a more prominent visual alert but overall it would suit most households.
Bought as I didn’t have a traditional doorbell so needed a chime to go with my Arlo doorbell. It was very easy to install, just needed plugging into a socket. It was very easy to pair with the doorbell but I have other Arlo cameras and have an Arlo smart hub which makes adding things super easy.
Has a good choice of chimes and is nice and compact so isn’t an eyesore if it has to be on show.
This is to be installed indoors and is not waterproof.
It took less than 5 minutes to set up.
Just scan the QR code on the back of the plug, plug it in a follow the instructions on your Arlo app on your phone.
The only downside is that there are 12 options for the chime, but you can’t hear them on the app, you have to press the doorbell and listen, then go back to the app and select the next one, go press thr doorbell, listen, change to next one etc…..
The loudest setting is very loud which is great for my hubby who wears hearing aids.
A great product, would recommend.
Door chime
Found this a little difficult to set up on the Wi-Fi at first it kept loosing Wi-Fi set up. And getting volume and selecting audio chime was a little tricky again found help on line .
However did notice a 30 second delay from the person pressing the door bell and the chime sounding. But after set up it’s fine.
Had a lot of trouble getting the chime to pair with my doorbell camera! If you have the same issue, first reset the chime device to factory setting, secondly make sure the VPN on your mobile is off or disabled, then follow the instructions but do not select your Wi-Fi from the list that pops up! Choose the manually option and type in both the Wi-Fi name and password, this worked for me. It was a combination of other reviewers comments.
Good chime accompaniment to Arlo doorbell and connection not too hard after all!
Good accompaniment to the Arlo video doorbell. Was dubious about connection at first due to the reviews but managed to sort. Just connect to the Arlo wifi option, then select your Wi-Fi name from
the drop down list, then when it comes to password – enter your Wi-Fi password manually – DO NOT accept the automated passcode as this is your Arlo system passcode (not the Wi-Fi) and then all should work fine.
Good and handy
I bought the chime2 as it was getting frustrating to know if someone pressed my Arlo doorbell. I had to keep my mobile near me to get notifications when someone pressed the bell.
This gives me the piece of mind that I can place my phone anywhere and the chime sounds as soon as someone pressed the doorbell.
Very handy as with small kids at home who are running about.
Overall I would say it is an useful purchase if you have the Arlo doorbell and no alternative doorbell. Otherwise this is a great buy. It even has the function of mimicking people staying at home or dog bark if you set it up as when you are not at home.
My only gripe is the full price for it is not worth it.
I bought it at a time when a discount was run.
