Used for crafting!!!
This little oven is super for crafts such as clay baking, shrinky dinks etc…
Really good value for money and doesn’t take up a lot of space to store it.
Great Mini Grill
A handy mini grill , used so far for Cheese on Toast & Hot Cheese & Onion rolls .
It’s a good addition to my kitchen,it works well grilling from top and bottom .
Very easy to clean & and a good price .
Thank you .
A Must Have
If you don’t like putting the oven on at home yet fancy something ‘oven cooked’, then this is the product. It does things in almost half the time but better than an air-fryer. Cheese on toast is delicous from this-no more grilling for me lol. I did 4 thick pork loins in it over the weekend-superb results.
This little oven is brilliant. I’ve had mine since January and it’s been worth it’s weight in gold. I’m a single gal and it’s big enough for my needs. It heats up from the top and the bottom so cheese on toast etc is toasted both sides at the same time so saves on time. Oven dishes heat double too so again saves time and money. If a meal is ready before the timer is finished, it keeps counting down, it can’t be cancelled. All I do is switch off the oven at the plug and all is well. For the cost, this is a little star. Care should be taken, obviously, oven gloves needed and smaller cookware but it’s fantastic. One of my best buys. X
I’ve been wanting one of these for ages. It’s perfect for cheese on toast, toasting cornbread and other things that won’t work in a toaster, and for browning microwave meals. It work great. And it’s the perfect size, which is pretty small, and exactly what I wanted. It sits right on top of my little microwave.
A couple of issues. The timer isn’t very accurate. Nevermind. The other issue is that you can’t turn it off when something is done before the timer dings. But I just turn the temperature all the way down and leave the door open until it’s done. It’s not a huge deal, but it would be better to be able to turn it off.
If they could improve the dials on this thing, it would be perfect.
Ok for the price
Cheap price so I didn’t expect much. The dial doesn’t seem to be very accurate but I didn’t expect much for the price. It does the job for small craft jobs but I do need to use an oven thermometer to ensure the right temp.
I haven’t used it for food.
It’s ok for what I use it for but I am mindful of the outer surface getting hot.
This oven toaster is remarkable value for its very modest price, looks smart and has some nice touches like the spring-loaded crumb tray for easy cleaning, and a substantial handle for the glass door – which is needed, because this device gets really really hot, especially the back. Of course, it’s an oven, but at low cost there’s little insulation, so the outer panels are sizzling! Not a problem once you realise, but must be careful not to allow electric cables etc to rest against the hot back panel. For all that, very pleased, and we have toast again 🙂
Ok so this is tiny but for my use (polymer clay) thats what I wanted. So far it has kept to temperature which is very important. The elements are open with no cover over top or bottom. This does make cleaning an issue particularly if you buy this oven for heating food. Crumbs and fat, food juices will ultimately end up under the element at the bottom. Heats up quickly and so far stays true to temp. You do have to have the timer on all the time, it wont work without it (safety feature maybe) cant really fault it for my craft use.
I bought this to take with me in my Campervan on our travels around Wales recently. It’s a mains fed oven so can only be used when in a campsite with electric hook-up – won’t work off a 12v supply just FYI.
I tested at home first and cooked a Greggs (Iceland) cheese, bean and sausage melt. Cooked it for the recommended time & melted the roof of my mouth on the second bite, so it definitely works just like a normal oven! Except the warm-up time is MUCH quicker, maybe 5 mins tops to get to 200c.
So, away we went on our travels and I picked up a “Roast dinner for one” at a local Sainsburys. Half way through cooking one of the legs fell off so I had to prop it up with some cardboard, all while slightly drunk on a Sunday evening – not an ideal situation!
But after I’d eaten my perfectly cooked dinner (Gordan Ramsey would have been proud) I dug through the box and found the screw that had come out of the foot during our 300-mile journey. I screwed it back in & had no issues since, but will certainly check the screws before I attempt anything with gravy in it in future (my campervan will appreciate this).
So, all in all I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to cook a full meal for 1 person, or part of a meal for 2 people. The most I managed to fit in was a M&S Lasagne for one + 6 Cheesy croquets, but it was a tight squeeze!
I moved onto solar storage due to the energy crisis 2022.
I needed a low wattage oven to run off an inverter or jackery powerstation. Its an absolute gem and I have never looked back. Although you have to clean it regularly like a conventional oven its cooking just about everything so far. You can squeeze other things into it too like roasties but its purpose isn’t intended for families. I fancied an “air fryer” but they are high wattage.
Its will cook a medium chicken with tinfoil surrounding the carcass at 200 degrees for 50 minutes but make sure its well oiled or the skin will burn. Its easy access with two shelves. It’s a good BBQ cooker too if you need food to stay warm while your cooking other food on the grill. Just literally throw it all in there and select 100 degrees.
Do not touch the oven while running so beware of children in close proximity of this on high settings. Like any cooker so be advised.
What you are getting for your money is truly amazing.
This is a nice little toaster oven. I’ve used it to heat pasties, grilled cheese on various breads and on meats, re-crisps previously fried foods. Fat splatters are easiest cleaned as soon as the grill is cool enough, don’t leave for ages. If you line the bottom with foil to catch grease and crumbs, it’s easier to clean and doesn’t need so much scrubbing.
The whole thing get really hot so use gloves carefully (small and delicate) and don’t put anything on top of it that could heat up or melt – so no bamboo mats or tea towels. I’ve put a metal trivet on top so when I pull out tray or grill it has somewhere safe to land on. The area around it must not be cluttered, due to how hot it can get.
The toaster oven is very light so make sure it doesn’t move while cooking or taking out. I’ve had to put rubber feet on to stop it sliding around, might swap for a silicone mat. Make sure you take out anything that has collected grease or you will smoke your house out. Keep it clean after each use and you will enjoy this.
