Nearly as good as the originals
There’s not much that I can find about these that I don’t like. They’re pretty much a pattern copy of the original Nintendo controllers except I notice that they don’t charge from the Switch like the genuine ones do and don’t have an electronic connection at the point where they slide onto the Switch’s controller rails. They each have their own USB-C connection for charging, and all other connectivity is wireless. Functionally they work great in the few games we tried and all the buttons feel like they should, including the trigger buttons on the back/top. The colour of the plastic used is very slightly different to the originals and the mouldings maybe aren’t quite as neat and well polished as the originals, but at a fraction of the price I think they are great value. I am much more comfortable handing these to my young child to use than my expensive original controllers.
Just like the original
Bought as a spare as hard to remove the originals with a case on. Product feels just like the original, comes with two straps and a cable. Happy for my toddler to use this to play Mario and she can’t tell the difference.
Decent replacement controllers
These work very nicely with my Switch and have had no issues, the overall quality is nowhere close to the original controllers but they do perform very much the same at almost half the price.
Great Switch Controllers
This is a set of 2 controllers for the Nintendo Switch from the Bonacell Store.
I have had my switch since its release in 2017 and the controllers have seen better days.
Original replacement controllers are not cheap although these ones are a great substitute.
Both controllers come boxed with side clips and wrist straps plus a USB-C charge lead.
Button layout is almost identical to the original with a few additional buttons as well.
I was cautious when ordering these as other reviews have said they get stuck on the switch and couldn’t get them off although no such issues here and they are smooth to put on the switch and also when taking them off.
One fantastic addition for me is the inclusion of USB-C charge slot on the side of both controllers allowing them to be charged back up whilst not attached to the Nintendo switch which I didn’t have as an option on the original controllers.
When using both controllers attached to the Switch response is crisp and clean with no issues at all.
Overall I would say the build is not quite on par with the originals but ultimately not far off and if you are in the market for Switch replacement controllers without paying out a kings ransom for the originals these ones are a brilliant option.
Great for extended play
This gamepad has been a solid replacement for my original controllers. The feel is comfortable, and the buttons are responsive without any noticeable drift. The turbo function is quite handy, offering different speeds for various games, and the vibration feedback adds to the immersive experience. Connecting it to the console is a breeze, with no lag during gameplay. It’s great for long gaming sessions, and the ergonomic design prevents hand fatigue. The lack of NFC and IR Motion features is a minor drawback, but for the price, it’s a fantastic alternative.
Great little joypads
Easy to connect to my switch and cheaper than buying official ones. I enjoy that they are easy to connect and I can use them in multiplayer when I have friends over. Durability seems good and they are generally a good device to use.
