Easy to install with useful templates for drilling (just pull the bracket on the camera and it pops off, don’t be scared!). Solar panel has decent length cable for longer distance location.
App is functional and easy to connect multiple cameras.
Solar charging entirely adequate at present in summer, always 100% so far.
Picture quality good, a short wait to connect, but video capture on movement detection is effective.
I’ve bought this for my rear garden. Still waiting for my son to install it. I’ve already set it up ready. This is my second one as i had to send the other one back because it was faulty. (Pink picture) but this one looks good
I have a few cameras that run in the Wansview app, for internal and outdoor use.
The issue with outdoor cameras in general is that you can rarely get a power supply to where you need them. I really want to be able to monitor my front drive, especially to see where packages I’m expecting have been left.
The name Cinnado is a new one, but it has a familiar best up process to other cameras on the Wansview platform. This one was notably faster to install however.
Image quality is more than good enough at 2k and the motion detection and notifications are useful. I especially like that it can detect people and only send notifications for those rather than any motion.
It was really easy to mount under the gutter (is that on the soffit?), with suitable screws and positioning templates. The little solar panel that keeps the battery charged has a decent cable length; it would benefit from a 360 mounting however.
The pan and tilt works smoothly and is responsive in the app.
At this time of year the battery is fully charged within an hour or so if sun up. Hopefully it will perform as well in the cold, dark, dingy winter months.
Overall I am very happy with this camera.
**Outstanding Wireless Solar Powered Camera! **
I couldn’t be more impressed with this wireless solar-powered camera! From its seamless installation to its reliable performance, it has exceeded all my expectations. The solar power feature ensures that the camera stays charged even in cloudy conditions, providing continuous surveillance without the hassle of battery changes. The image quality is crystal clear, both day and night, and the motion detection is highly accurate, alerting me immediately to any activity. Additionally, the user-friendly app allows for easy remote access and control. This camera offers unparalleled convenience and peace of mind. Highly recommended!
Really quick and easy to set up, both the camera itself and through the app. The accessories for mounting the camera made it so easy. The solar panel is amazing and keeps the camera at 100% battery, it charges even when it is really cloudy which is great for the UK. Picture quality is amazing too, so clear even far away. The WiFi connection works great even with the camera outside. Love you can rotate the camera remotely and save your favourite positions. Microphone picks up sound great. Looks good and great for security as it’s a good size.
Only slight negatives are it only records on motion as continuous recording is not available on battery cameras even though it has the solar panel. Doesn’t always pick up motion, even on cars so doesn’t capture everything (motion sensor doesn’t seem powerful enough even when set to maximum) though I do have the camera up high so this may be why.
These aren’t a deal breaker though and would still highly recommend the camera.
The camera was delivered quickly and already fully charged.
It was easy to set up the Wansview app and get the camera working and connected to our network.
The solar panel appears to be working well and maintaining a full 100% charge.
Image quality, even in the dark is good and clear.
The replay function locates saved clips quickly and quality is good.
I have subscribed to the cloud storage, which is providing a worthwhile and reliable backup to the memory card I have also installed.
Whilst the instructions were clear for setting up the camera, connecting to wifi etc, I would have liked some guidance on how to mount the camera, as this took some time to work out.
The bracket on which the camera is mounted holds it very securely, yet I wonder if it will be strong enough to resist theft/tampering as it only appears to be a push/click fitting to the camera.
As an extra security measure, I added a small self-tapping screw
I would also have liked access to the battery, so that it can be replaced at a later date.
In this sustainable world, it seems very wasteful to have to dispose of the entire unit, when just a battery needs replacing.
Overall I am very pleased and impressed with the quality and performance of the camera and will recommend it to others. I hope it will last many years.
I always wanted something like this. A proper, night vision, rotating, wifi camera, SOLAR POWERED. No cables to run, no worries. It even has a microphone and speaker so that I can interact with people remotely.
It is a breeze to set up and connect through the free Wansview App. So far, it’s been working impeccably and assuming it carries on like this, I’m going to replace all the security cameras around my home. But best of all, I don’t need to be somewhere that I have power – it’s all done from the (compact) solar panel. As long as it is in range of my wifi network, it works.
I particularly love the shrouded, snug-fitting USB C socket, so it’s protected from weather.
The product arrived and is very well packaged. Unboxing presented me with a well made and what appears durable camera, the solar panel is small and has a mottled affect on it which seemed strange to me but I have other solar panels which deteriorated in the light, this appears more durable. Setup was simple, just point a barcode from the app on your phone to the camera. The battery power seems to lose little power during night hours and is back to 100% in no time the next day. The PTZ is quick to respond and quiet. I especially like the small image showing where in the range of movement the camera is pointing.
The lights are bright enough to light up my garden. The motion detection is quick to respond and the night vision is on par with other cameras I have. The ability to.oit in a mocrosd and record locallynrather than subscribe and still be able.to access history is great. You can also.communicate through the camera. Very happy with this camera ans have a few others from same developers and the price is reasonable too.
This CINNADO camera is very good. I already have a couple of Galayou and Cinnado cameras so I’m used to the Wansview cloud software. As usual connecting the camera was very simple, you just add it in the app, select the QR code option, enter your WiFi password, then the app generates a QR code that transfers the wifi password to the camera. Done.
Image quality and usability of the camera are very good, the 2k image seems on a par with a couple of other 2K cameras that I have. The night vision is particularly good. The infrared illumination seems good and strong, and it’s good that the app allows you to switch off the infrared for a more natural night time image, and also switch on some bright white LEDs which would provide full colour nighttime coverage.
Despite having a built in battery, this camera is actually smaller than a normal wired PTZ camera that I already have. The solar panel seems small but it does the job. In testing it took the camera from about 75% to 100% in one day, on a bright but not very sunny UK day. I’d be confident that it would keep the camera charged in use.
WiFi reception seems to be strong. The camera works at a good distance from the rooter.
The only negative points that I have is firstly around the mounting bracket. There is no mention in the instructions about how to disconnect the camera from the bracket. It’s only from reading other reviews that I knew you just have to pull it really hard. I’d be concerned that this could break the plastic bracket if used too much. I wanted to mount this camera to a pole, but all of the commercial brackets are way too big, so I made my own, see the photo.
The second issue is with the Wansview Cloud software. Since this is a battery camera, it does not allow connection via RTSP or ONVIF, so the Wansview app is the only way of viewing the camera image, and recording clips. Also the Wansview software does not allow the image to be cropped or masked for motion detection with this camera. Other cameras in the Wansview app do allow cropping of the image for motion detection, so this limitation may also be because it’s a battery camera. The only motion detection adjustments available are quite basic, just sensitivity and retrigger interval. It is not possible to select a detection zone to reduce false alerts.
In summary, this is a good camera with lots of functionality at a good price, and is perfect for installation where a power supply is not available.
