Well made and sturdy adapters, price gone up but still okish
I’ll probably never have enough of these adapters, as I use them when I travel to visit my family abroad. I normally bring presents with me and the majority will of course have UK plugs.
There are lots of UK-EU adapters out there, varying by price and quality. This set of 5 is a good offer.
Not only is it well made, compact and safe. It’s also decent value for money.
These adapters are made of solid plastic, which is well connected together. This is important as low quality adapters can very easily detach, leaving just the front cover in your hand, and the rest still plugged into a socket. Not pretty or safe
I like that they have safety shutters to prevent accidental access and dust getting in.
The adapters are CE certified, with all standard parameters present. It’s not a voltage converter, so voltage has to be between 220-240V. Which it will be on most occasions anyway.
The 5-pack comes in a zipped foil, which seems like a good and inexpensive way of storing them. However it looks like the price has already gone up to currently 8 (with other recent reviews mentioning 6.50). I really hate that, so one star will be taken away, but still happy to recommend these adapters.

I plan to take these with me on a holiday to Tenerife with work, and I’m hopeful they’ll keep my devices charged—there’s nothing worse than being stuck with dead tech while traveling.

Compact and lightweight...
Perfect for travelling as they’re very light and so small you can easily pop one into your toiletries bag or inside a shoe to keep them safe. The build quality seems decent, and you’re getting quite a few plugs here for your money. They’ll come in handy on our holiday next month as so many of us have phones and gadgets that need charging nowadays.
Good large pack
These are handy when travelling in Europe, as a family it’s handy to have several to save on arguments, generally we’ll plug each of many into adaptors to support multiple UK devices on each. The only thing I would say about these is that the fitting of the UK plug is pretty tight so it needs a good shove to get them in and a firm tug to get them out. They come in a clear plastic bag, which is fine to keep them in, and are just the ticket for a family trip
Multiple pack of UK to EU adapters.
These adapters allow a UK plug to be used in Europe. It is more efficient to buy a few of them before you go than sourcing them at the airport shop. They can be difficult to impossible to find once abroad. Once a UK plug is connected to the adapter it forms quite a tight fit and which can be pulled out of the wall as a single unit of UK plug and adapter. I find I have to keep ordering adapters like this as they get left behind, or lost by the kids. The build quality is acceptable and they have a safety gate to reduce the risk of small fingers touching live wires.
These adapters are keenly priced and do the job as expected.
Great quality and value
These are simple devices to convert your UK plug to any of the EU countries and they work really well. They are in fact terrific value as you get five in a pack.
Over the years, we’ve lost a few of these and had to keep switching from appliance to appliance while we are away. No need to do that anymore now as you now have several and can attach one to each device if you like.
Importantly they work well and sturdy enough to be taken on your travels worry free.
Unbeatable for the price
This review is for a pack of 5 UK to EU mains adapters, branded XSO, priced at 6.99 when reviewed.
These adapters allow UK mains devices to be plugged in to EU mains sockets, and often used when UK residents go on holiday in Europe. It is not a voltage converter, so should only be used on 220-240v supplies.
Construction is on par with the one I bought at the airport on my last trips, and probably won’t survive being dropped on a hard floor from any height. They are suited for EU plugs that have an earth pin in the socket, and also for non earthed sockets (but only if the UK device is unearthed.
Compact & well built UK to EU travel adapto
I bought the XSO European Travel Adapter for my upcoming trip to Europe, and it works perfectly! It’s compact and easy to carry as its pretty lightweight. Since I am still in UK, I connected it to a world adaptor and then connected my UK phone charger to it to test it out. It also has safety features to protect my devices. Overall, it’s a great travel adapter, and I highly recommend it! Its also a bargain as you get 5 units for the current price of 6.49
Brilliant travel adapte
Often go to Europe and always find ourselves short of a travel adapter. This pack of five will fit French, German and Czechia and Polish sockets. I have had problems in the past with the French adapters not fitting in central European sockets as they are sometimes slightly different in older hotels but these will fit all earthed and unearthed sockets. Look to be well put together and not in danger of falling apart when being used.
