Is there a catch?
All I can say is that mine works fine and comes complete with a USB-A to USB-C power cable and also a separate USB-A to USB-C gender changer, so that you can use this with an Ultrabook or a Mac that only has USB-C. Fast, responsive and nicely put together. I really think this is great value for half a Tb!
Works well
What can I say – works well. I now have a copy of my Dropbox folders that I previously could not have due to my space on my ASUS laptop.
And it plugs directly into my phone!! Bonus.
