The digital photo frame connects easily through WiFi, allowing you to share moments with loved ones instantly. It has a large storage capacity, holding tens of thousands of photos. Easy to use
This is a great little digital photo frame but does need to be plugged in at all times and is not USB-C compatible. You use the app to transfer photos or videos and the internal storage is great but can be expanded with a micro sd card. The images are crisp and the brightness is good. I’ve never got round to getting photos printed and framed and this has been a lovely way to display memories and I hadn’t appreciated how much of positive impact it’s had on my daughter, especially with reminding her of what overseas family look like.
Frameo WiFi Digital Photo Frame
This product was sent to me for review, as part of Amazon Vine. The below is my own real-world experience of using it.
In terms of build-quality, the frame appears to have been well-made – the construction is sturdy, and it has just enough weight to stand well on any surface (with the help of the attachable ‘foot’, which you can mount to position the frame in portrait or landscape mode). It has a design that is similar to lots of traditional photo frames – the solid colour border is subtle, and would blend in nicely with any decor.
I did find setting it up a little difficult – firstly, the included plug is fiddly and a challenge to put together (the component with the prongs has to be lined up in a very specific way with the power adapter, otherwise it won’t lock into place, and it can take a couple of attempts to get this right). Personally, I feel that a USB power supply would have worked better here, especially because more traditional power adapters are harder to replace when lost or broken.
Moving on to the setup of the software – for some reason, every ‘Frameo’ model I have tried has had an identical ‘bug’, where the initialisation process will go right back to the beginning, after the first software update is applied (as in, you will have to enter your name and everything else again). It’s easily resolved, though. The Android interface is very user-friendly, allowing the frame to be up and running within a matter of minutes. It also explains how to use the companion app, to start sending photos across to the frame – you can even give the QR code to friends and family, so that they can add their own pictures, and you can ‘react’ to those, using emojis.
Every photo I have displayed, looks as good as it did on my phone, with a nice, clear resolution, and vibrant colour reproduction. Playing back a selection of photos (as a slideshow) is smooth – the display time between each is consistent, with no lag. As well as viewing pictures, you can also have the time, date, and current temperature shown – handy information to have at a glance.
In summary, it is a good value item that would make a lovely gift.
Brilliant idea
This is a brilliant idea and works better than I expected. Turn the photo frame on (which is basically a very budget tablet), go through set up, install the app on your phone, press ‘Add friend’ button and use the code from the tablet to put into the app. Then you just upload the photos you want to use.
It is pretty customisable too. You can go into Slideshow on the frame and disable the clock, weather and caption if you wish to make it more like a photo frame than a tablet. The brightness is decent and you can add a load of images for it to cycle through.
Only negative is that it cannot be powered by a USB-C cable (only has AC or micro USB), but it’s not a biggie. It feels like it’ll be reasonably durable but is a fingerprint magnet. I can happily recommend this.
An ok digital picture frame but it has issues
Once its setup it works ok but i had some issues.
I was quite disappointed to see this has no internal battery and needs to be plugged in all the time with the power adaptor which uses a standard barrel plug and the lead is a bit short and will effect positioning but as its just a 2 core lead, cutting and extending it would be pretty simple.
The usb input is a micro usb which is outdated tech and prone to break after a while and i had some issues getting my pc to see this and i had to use a main usb port at the rear of my case even though my front ports work fine with usb memory sticks but with this they would not work but in the end i managed to copy lots of images from my pc via this method but a usb c port would be way better.
I was also disappointed to see and you cannot power the device via usb which would be a much better option but being micro usb you are limited to the power capabilities of that so it makes sense but if it was usb c you would be able to power the device via this method easily.
The memory card function was a bit hit and miss and i gave up trying to get it to play images from the brand new 64gb memory card i used, the device saw it but would only import files from the card to the internal memory but would not play them from the card which seems a bit odd.
I had no need to use the wifi functions and sharing options so i cant speak to that.
The screen resolution is also pretty poor being only 1280×800 and while showing larger images it makes them look quite sharp it would be better if this was a higher resolution but i guess you get what you pay for here and something that was higher quality would obviously be much more expensive.
Nice Digital Photo Frame
This frame has excellent resolution and is fully customisable and you can choose how long the photos display for, and if the videos play automatically or not, it is all very easy to use and understand. The display size is perfect for our living room, and although it rotates the images, we prefer to leave it in landscape, and we format our pictures to fit it. We also set it up so that it works during the day but is shut off at night, although there is a setting that, if one wishes, can make the display work through a motion sensor.
We have also received photos from family members, and it has been a joy to unexpectedly see new pictures of loved ones on display. The Frameo App is easy to use and set up; the only personal preference downside is that I can only upload 10 photos at a time, which makes uploading old photos more laborious, but it’s an easy thing to do for recent ones.

This is amazing how the digital frame works its so easy to set up and it has A fast transFer file. You just need to download the frameo app to access it and show the videos and pictures in the DF. Im surprise how quickly the file transfer do, its also good that this has 32GB, the quality of it is pretty impressive. Definitely worth buying!

With the Frameo app, I can instantly send photos and even short videos to the frame from anywhere in the world. It’s so easy to keep my family and friends updated on all our latest adventures. I never really appreciated the value of a digital photo frame before. I thought our standard photo albums were enough. However, after using this digital photo frame for about 12 days, I am completely sold on it and wonder why I never bought one sooner!
The photo frame is incredibly easy to set up, and transferring both photos and movies is super easy with the Frameo app. So far, I’ve transferred over 200 high-quality photos from my iPhone and around 25 large movie files, and there is still plenty of room for more digital content.

I absolutely love this digital photo frame. It’s so easy to use; just a few settings to complete, attach the frame to your WiFi, download the App on your phone or tablet and away you go. I also love that you can share a code with family and friends and they can add their photos when they have downloaded the App. You can also add them via USB and there is also a memory card slot but it has 32GB onboard storage already. The touchscreen is responsive and there are nice touches like the time, weather and ability to add captions to the photos. Overall, an excellent digital photo frame that I haven’t been able to find any negatives about so far.

Looks good, it’s a digital touch screen with a decent resolution. Has an SD card slot, so easy to load pics. Very intuitive interface. Had it up and running in no time. Also has a clock function, very useful addition.

Great digital frame
One of the problems with digital photos is that having taken them, and maybe shown them to a few people, they often then just sit in the digital files forgotten. This frame is a great way to have them displayed: a nice bridge between framed printed photos and the digital technology. The pictures also have a luminosity on the screen that a printed photo rarely captures. When my babies were small I sent a digital frame preloaded with baby photos to the proud grandparents half a world away, which was very well received. Time and technology has moved on considerably since then, and the pictures on this frame are much better, and it would make an even better gift. It’s also particularly good if you have limited space for displaying photographs.

This Digital photo frame is a fabulous product, with more than meets the eye.
I have several photo frames in my shop, with photos and information on them. They are great as moving adverts. I use Photoshop to create messages and save them as jpeg for use in the photo frames.
This one though is something very special. The first thing is the size, it’s way bigger than all the others I have, with a large bright display. The first big difference is that this has a capacitive touch display (like a smartphone or iPad). Much better than poking a little button on the back to switch between menus. Simply touch and swipe, very simple and easy to use.
The big feature of this photo frame is the app. Which allows you to send photos directly from your smartphone to the frame. For me, this means I can update it without having to use an SD card or USB cable. But the real advantage is that anyone with the app, can be given you special code and they can send images to your frame. So, for example, if your friends are on holiday they can send photos from anywhere to the frame for you to view instantly. So, in this respect, it can be a real social tool. You can of course use the traditional method of putting images onto an SD card. Likewise, you can connect the frame to your laptop via a USB cable for directly transferring photos. But the cable is not included. This is an expensive device so surely; they could include a USB cable.
Setup of the frame is very quick and simple, select the date and time, give it a name, and connect to your Wi-Fi, you only need to do this once. The app is very simple to use, simply browse your photos, select the ones you want, and send them to the frame. Very simple. You can even add captions. As mentioned, I use it in a commercial environment within my shop to advertise products and services.
It’s superb. Item and I’m very impressed with it. Beautifully packed it would make a great gift idea.
Just two small things I’d mention, not really criticisms but just observations. The cable on the power supply is probably under 4′ long. I have it plugged in under my desk, and it only just reaches. If you wanted to place this on a high shelf or the wall, I think this could be an issue. You can buy extension cables for just about any power adapter, but a longer cable would be much more versatile.
I was also surprised that there is very little control over the slideshow. You can vary the duration of the images, but beyond that the slideshow is simply a fade. I expected this to be packed with different effects, wipes, zooms etc. but nothing, it simply fades from one to the next. There’s nothing wrong with this, but even the little cheap old photos frames i have, offer many different effects. Perhaps a software update will add some effects.
Overall, I’m blown away by it. I love it and will use it every day in my shop. Highly recommended and worth every penny.
Great digital photo frame
This digital photo frame is well built with nice software loaded onto it.
The touch screen is sensitive and responsive and is easy to navigate with intuitive functionality.
The screen is reasonably large and very clear and the brightness function allows you to tailor it to whatever you need.
You can either download your photos onto the device via usb or download the Frameo app for free and then you can push via WiFi your photos from your phone or device to the frame which is what I did.
The ability to title the photos and various options if you want time or weather stats displayed is also a nice feature
There is a stand that can be used for whatever orientation you choose to have your photos displayed.
I’m sure there are more functions I haven’t used or listed yet but to sum up, this device is well made, easy to set up and good functionality with a great clear display.

You receive a lovely presented Digital Photo Frame, the box it comes in would make it ideal as a gift.
The frame is 10 Inch in size, which is pretty much the size of most tablets, it did make me think tablet when I opened the box.
Easy to use and set up, you can stand mount it or if prefer you can wall mount.

The quality of picture is outstanding, I’ve not had one of these for sometime, the last was a Philips which I thought good at the time but time has moved on and this is a massive improvement, images are sharp, clear, colourful, very impressive.
