Why not use batteries instead of USB?
In order to continuously and stably connect to WiFi, so that you can control it without worry even when you are not at home, and save the trouble of frequent charging, so we take the USB power mode
Could an infrared remote control penetrate walls or control devices in upstairs/downstairs rooms?
Infrared rays cannot penetrate walls. Therefore, please make sure that there are no obstacles between the IR remote control and the IR device.
Are the temperature values on the screen and in the app synchronised after changing the temperature units?
The temperature values change accordingly after switching and can only be seen on the screen. There is no change in the app.
What should I do if the device configuration fails?
1) Check if the IR remote control is switched on.
2) Check if there is a connection to the 2.4GHz WiFi network.
3) Check the network connection and make sure the router is working properly. Translate to Spanish

We use this in our RV to keep track of the temperature when we are away for the day.
Why is this so important?
We leave our dogs in the hot Florida sun inside of the RV when we are gone.
We use this to check on their safety so they do not overheat.
This is well worth the price and has good options for your smart phone.
Being called a "Thermometer" in the listing, I'd expect the largest numbers displayed would be the temp, rather than the time. The manufacturer need to update what's shown the largest. Wifi works great.

For a simple gadget this lets me check the inside temp while I am not home. Note: there is a button on the back that changes the reading from F to C . This is not in the directions. Just push the button once and it will change.

Im Gegensatz zu den meisten Produkten von govee lsst sich das Thermometer mit Drittanbieterapps verbinden.
Das Gert an sich ist wertig und liefert zuverlssige Werte. Ich nutze es in einem Gewchshaus, um Temperatur und Feuchtigkeit zu berwachen. Dass es per USB versorgt wird, hilft: an dem Kabel kann man das Gert gut aufhngen.

Not bad, but could be bette
I like the simplicity of this WiFi thermometer. It is accurate enough for my needs – monitoring my RV temp for my dogs. The setup was easy.
What could be better:
– power cord entrance should be on bottom or side not sticking straight out of the back. Now I cannot mount it on a wall. It has a little kickstand on the back, but it is so lightweight that the cords just pulls it to the side sometimes. I’ll find a way to mount it, but it would have been easier. Not a total deal killer just
– it needs a backlit display since it is not running off of battery.
I just feel that this does not offer a lot for the money when compared to my similarly priced WiFi camera that has so many features. Except for telling me the temperature in the room.
However, all the other WiFi thermometers are similarly priced, so I can’t really say that it is overpriced. C’est la vie

Works well and the USB connection eliminates the need for batteries. The accuracy is good but have niticed the temp of the unit differs slightly from what is reported in the app. Easily connects to Wifi and the reliability of the connection is good. Overall would recommend

Das Gert ist super einfach einzurichten, funktioniert tadellos und die Messwerte scheinen zu stimmen.
Das Gert selbst ist sehr leicht.
Einzig eine Befestigung zum aufhngen habe ich etwas vermisst. Aber mit etwas Fantasie bekommt man das trotzdem hin.
Temperatur- & Feuchtigkeitsalarm funktionieren bestens.
Ich wrde es sofort wieder kaufen.
This thing works. The only thing I don’t like about it is the default is Celsius, but you just tap the thing and it converts to Fahrenheit.
Odd, some of the negative reviews seem to refer to sockets that don’t work. This is not a socket. It’s a temperature thing. I think the reviews may be misplaced or wrongly placed, or whatever, in this category.
