Ottimo prodotto
Excellent Speedlite!
This is my 5th Godox light, and they continue to impress with this one! I am actually shooting with a Canon using this light, using it exclusively as an off-camera light triggered with Godox’s remote trigger system. It’s been working awesome as a fill light for my AD-200 in the portable kit, this has some really decent punch to it, even in daylight.
I particularly like that this light (improved over all my other Godox lights) has a battery with an independent USB-C charging capability! No more needing a dedicated charger, just plug it in! That’s so darn handy, and makes keeping the pack topped up a lot easier. Lasts a long time as well, even using fairly high power settings for bounce flash on the light.
Bought this for a friend as a thank you and a gift for years of service. GODOX makes a series of powerful flashes and this rechargeable flash unit is near the top of their product line. The flash can serve as a trigger for other GODOX compatible flashes, and this kit includes one small subflash that be used to provide fill light. The package includes a case, stand, cabling, etc. The built in 2980mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery has fast recycling times and charges quickly. This flash is available in Canon, Nikon and Fuji compatible models as well. Highly recommended.

Well Built, Well Designed Flash with Extras
I have been using this flash for several weeks and I am really enjoying it. However, I am new to the Godox line, and I found that I had quite a learning curve to overcome. When you are used to something else, introducing a new brand can take some time. Symbols and menus are slightly different than what I’m used to. I am enjoying the Godox flash and hopefully will be incorporating more of their products into my studio. For now, here’s what I like/dislike about this flash.
PROS:
– Rechargeable battery. There is a USB-C port at the side of the battery, so it can be charged in or out of the flash. This is HUGE for me as I go through about $50 in disposable batteries every three months.
– Hot shoe has the lock system rather than the dial system. (I prefer this as it is a faster to take the flash on/off).
– Diffuser is a great pattern and disperses light nicely. I didn’t find hot spots.
– Dial and buttons are easy to use although the dial can be a little sensitive and sometimes I find myself accidentally changing something that I didn’t want to.
– Comes with nice case.
-TTL/Manual button has easy access on side of flash.
– It has exposure bracketing.
– There is an LED modeling light.
– You have manual control over the projection of the light through the zoom feature. For me, this is something I’m not accustomed to, so I had a lot of fun “pushing” the light in and out.
– There is the ability to control groups of flashes. I was unable to test this, but it’s there as I expand my Godox line.
– Comes with a significant number of gels.
– Flash can be used off camera.
– Recycle time is good.
– Subflash for fill light can be used along with bounce light and is all attached in one place. Subflash is independently controlled. I experimented with putting a gel on the bounce light and using the subflash for fill. This gives a different effect than I’m accustomed to using one flash. No “worthy” pictures, yet, but I’m still having fun experimenting.
CONS:
– This flash is a little heavy when compared to some of my similar sized flashes.
– Battery charging is kind of slow.
– I’m not sure if I’m absolutely correct on this, but I could not figure out how to fire the subflash remotely.
My overall impression is that this is a high quality, well thought out flash. I am still figuring out what I can do with all the features (do we ever REALLY stop learning?). I would recommend this flash and I’m so thankful to have it. Five stars.
Coming from the TT685S II, the Godox V1 Pro is a significant upgrade. I'm really enjoying the TTL with this flash. So far, it has been spot on, and the switch on the side makes it easy to switch back to manual when I need to. The sub-flash on the front has been a great filler when the regular flash is just too much. By pointing the main flash away and using the sub-flash, I still get some good fill light from the front. Being able to bring it down to 1/128 keeps it from being really harsh, and it produces some really good catch light. A rechargeable battery—need I say more? The flash also works really well with Godox's X system. Combining this with the new trigger (X3), you can keep your run-and-gun bag to a minimum. I've been keeping this flash in my bag everyday for quite a while now for spur-of-the-moment shots, and so far, it hasn’t disappointed.

Rich with Powerful, Professional Features, Expandability and a World of Options.
Aside from the fact that the Godox V1 Pro S is a versatile, feature rich powerhouse in its own right, it is also a component within an evolved eco-system of Godox lighting technology; it can be expanded upon, used on-camera or off, be a transmitter or receiver, actuated optically or by use of it’s on board 2.4G wireless system, used as a main light or a fill, and is loaded with many more features for the professional photographer.
New with the V1 Pro is the small, removable sub flash fill light, a full metal hot shoe, a port for connecting an external power supply, a physical switch from TTL to Manual modes, and greater thermal protection allowing 100 contiguous flashes, rather than 30 in the prior V1 version. In addition, the V1 Pro battery has a larger capacity, and it will still accept all of the accessories that are compatible with the original V1.
The V1 Pro has three shooting modes, all fully adjustable for exposure; they are Manual, Multi and for Canon, ETTL (Evaluative Through-the-Lens). Manual is just that; based on the aperture setting of the camera and distance from the subject, the user adjusts light output of the V1, usually by the use of a flash meter. But the V1 makes it much more convenient than that. Once the user sets the desired camera aperture, the V1 sees it and provides a scale on the LCD that shows the correct flash to subject distance. By adjusting the light output of the V1, that can be done in increments as small as 1/10 of a stop, the user can adjust it to the correct distance, or vice-a-versa, using the aperture. However, the V1 Pro provides an even simpler means of determining correct exposure when using Manual mode, and that is, by first starting in ETTL mode.
I’m not a big fan of TTL, or ETTL in Canon’s, for a few reasons. First, I don’t like the pre-flash it sends out, that can often confuse the subject or other optically actuated equipment. Secondly, unless the net tonality of the entirety of a scene encompassed within the boundaries of the sensor are somewhere near neutral grey, it can be fooled. And lastly, even when shooting a series of images on the same set, with the same background and camera settings, it may vary the exposure between shots to the extent that post production becomes nightmarishly tedious.
Determining correct manual exposure with the V1 Pro is made simple with its TCM feature; TCM is an acronym for “TTL Converted to Manual.” The method is simple. Set up your shot, set the camera to the desired aperture, then take an exposure with the V1 set to TTL mode. Check the histogram and make exposure adjustments on the V1 using the +/- button on the dial. Once the desired exposure is achieved, push the TCM Button and those settings are transferred to Manual mode, essentially using TTL mode as a flash meter. This is a powerful feature of convenience.
Multi Mode is stroboscopic, it allows the user to program a sequence of flashes to occur within a set period of time between the opening and closing of the shutter, for multiple stopped images within a single frame. Multi Mode is basically a special effect setting.
One of the new features of the V1 Pro is the removable SU-1 sub flash, its purpose being that of a fill light, or a catch light in the eyes of a subject. The SU-1 is a manual flash only, but does not prevent the use of TTL for the main flash when used. While connected, the SU-1 can be turned on and off, and is fully, independently adjustable for exposure. I have not found any evidence that it can be used alone, that is, without the main flash firing. A couple of examples of the use of the sub flash might be as a fill light when the main flash is being bounced. Or, as a catch light, for example outdoors. In this case, the main light can be rotated away from the subject entirely so it has no effect. Then, with only the sub flash to light the subject, the power is turned down to the extent that it’s only a glint in the subject’s eyes. It’s actually a very useful addition, and one worth exploring and experimenting.
Although not new, a powerful feature of the V1 Pro is its 24G wireless capabilities. This feature allows it to be used both as a transmitter, to control other Godox flash units, or as a receiver, allowing it to used off camera, controlled by another flash unit or one of Godox’s wireless flash triggers. All options and settings of the V1 Pro can be controlled wirelessly and independently of other connected units. The newest version in their line of wireless flash triggers is the Godox X3-S. I rarely use my portable flash on-camera, that’s just my preference, but rather I use a flash bracket that holds the flash and camera separately. I currently own Godox’s XPro II trigger, and I will have that in the camera hotshoe, while the flash is held next to it on the bracket. I also own a couple of other Godox flash units and this setup allows me to control all of the lights wirelessly from wherever I may be. This is another powerful feature and as I mentioned at the beginning of this review, an example of how the V1 Pro integrates seamlessly within an entire, expandable lighting and light control eco-system.
A couple of other useful features are HSS, High Speed Sync, that allows the use of shutter speeds faster than the native camera sync speed, and a built-in, independently controlled, variable brightness modelling light.
In any environment when flash is used, flash output exposure is controlled with the camera’s aperture, while ambient light is controlled with the shutter speed. HSS, allowing shutter speeds up to 1/8000, gives greater control over ambient light, and consequently, more flexibility over aperture/shutter speed combinations. In practice, HSS allows the user to shoot at wider apertures and/or, give ambient light less influence on the overall exposure. For example, we’ve all seen photographs with a flash lit subject outdoors with a darkened background; correct exposure of the subject was determined with the aperture setting, and the background was under-exposed, relative to the main subject, with a shutter speed faster than natively possible without the use of HSS.
The Godox V1 Pro is a very capable and versatile lighting solution compatible with a number of accessory options for light modification and control. Combining it with an accessory such as the Godox S2 Speedlight Bracket, that allows for the use of Bowens mount light modifiers, and one of their wireless light controllers, opens up an almost limitless world of options.
Very flexible flash with many great features. Faster recycle time, direct USB charging, dedicated TTL/Manual switch, and almost triple the thermal capacity limitation! I really like the external sub flash. This V1Pro is a bit heavier than the original but well worth it.

I ordered this GODOX V1Pro S Round Head Camera Flash for Sony Cameras. I was really impressed with it's build quality, and many mode options. I will be using this flash on my 12 year old Sony A3000 Mirrorless Camera, and off camera wireless by firing it with my new Godox X3-S TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Sony Cameras. I only shoot in manual mode, and not TTL, Because I want to control the output of the flash, and leave the camera out of it. It has a long flash life battery at over 500 shots at full power. Plus it is USB-C chargeable. It has also a sub flash included, But would not work when firing it off camera. I am using a Godox S2 Speedlite Bowens Mount Bracket to hold the flash in while shooting wirelessly. Now with this Godox S2 Speedlite Bracket with Bowens mount. I can use all kinds of different soft boxes and the like. I added a photo of it with a TRIOPO K55 21.6in Bowens Mount Octagon Soft box. Now I like the flash output of this flash, and it's easy to learn menu system. It also included a nice black carrying case, and a foot stand as well. Now this GODOX V1Pro S Round Head Camera Flash for Sony Cameras will be taking my photography up to the next level. Yes it's a little pricey, But then you are getting one of the best Sony flashes out their in my option. Now would I recommend this GODOX V1Pro S Round Head Camera Flash for Sony to any Sony Shooters. Yes I would but then search for the best price on this GODOX V1Pro S Round Head Camera Flash For Sony Cameras...

This fit my Fujifilm camera perfectly. There is a slight learning curve as I’ve never had a flash setup before, but once you get the lighting sorted out and get the settings adjusted, this works great. I love that you can take pictures in motion with the flash going too.

We all know Godox is basically, the king of flashes. This one is a beast but you must know, it is ONLY for Fuji. My entire company uses Canon so when this showed up, yep, we knew a Canon purchase would be next. However we were able to try this out as we have a number of other camera brands on the shelf for client specific requests and as you can image it was both amazing and versatile. For this one we're using it as a ceiling bounce fill and it does the job. It IS big though so for on camera work it's most likely gonna be bigger than your kit.

There are so many great aspects to this flash accessory by Godox. First, it allows you to shoot up to 100 times with flash at full power without having to stop because of overheating. Godox makes several versions, this one is compatible with Fuji cameras. Charges through USB-c port. This is actually two light sources as it comes with a smaller detachable flash that you can use remotely for fill. Wirelessly control remote light sources so they all flash simultaneously when you click the shutter. You also have the option to use manual or ttl (through the lens light metering) modes. Highly recommended for Fuji camera users.
