Great replaceme
Great replacement, was bought as a replacement for a hero 9 sadly the camera was too faulty to use so i use it as a spare for my gopro 10 and works a trea
Necessity for motovlogging or cold weathe
Bought this as a gamble following other reviews. I have a helmet mount for my GoPro hero 10+ however i was finding that the clips would randomly stop recording without any notification resulting in a bunch of 1-13 second clips. I bought this and have since had no issues whatsoever, this should come with the ‘action camera’. On top of actually allowing the camera to function it also has extended battery life.
Well would spending the extra bit if cash if you’re going to be experiencing strong winds or cold weathe
Great battery for GoPro 9
The original batteries that came with my GoPro 9 can not keep up for more than 35 min. This battery is the new design and is suppose to be better in cold and hot conditions.
Used twice so far and I am getting around 1 hour and 15 min of continuous recording.
It works but at a premium price.
Massive increase in power and recording time for my GoPro Hero 9 Black, especially on the colder rides in the Welsh mountains, which has really helped me for my YouTube channel. Very highly recommended 10/10
This is the same as the battery that came with my (2023) GoPro Hero 11, so doesn’t work for any longer, which is not long, only about 1.5-2 hours when recording video. Which is why you need a spare battery of course, for when you’re recording a 4-hour hike and the first battery dies after 1.5 hours … After experimenting, I found you can connect a 5V/2A powerbank to the GoPro and it will run for hours, although with the USB port being under the flap, you have to leave the case open, with the resulting risk of the internal battery dropping out and getting lost. However, you can run the GoPro like this with no internal battery so take out the small battery and put it safely in your pocke
I purchased one of these to use in my hero 9 when cold-water diving and it certainly did not disappoint, it improved the cameras run time by almost double ( 1hr no problem, non-stop from full charge) as apposed to the 30-40 min runtime I usually get if I’m lucky in cold-water. Plus its always useful to have a spare battery on hand just in case.
great spare battery even if its abit pricey, but it genuine go pro produc
A must need accessory is having spare batteries.
This one is the longer life one and is worth paying the extra to last that little bit longer, especially as i need it for winter sports. (batteries tend to run out quicker in the cold)
Its a bit pricey but its genuine gopro product.
Should be the default battery
This is so much better than the standard battery that it should come as standard. Used it skiing and it outlasted the standard blue battery by a huge margin. I now have two and don’t bother with the original ones.
