Accurate
Works really well great fun checking how hot things get especially helps re dog walking to ensure pavements are not too hot and also for my bbq and pizza oven temperature, easy to use and very accurate
Very happy
Very happy,
Pretty acurate, good quality and nice design.
If you choose to use Celcius ,Fahrenheit backlight or laser option, your setings will remain the same at the next use.
Unlike the other meters that i had.
Bought to use with pizza ove
This is great for giving a reading of temperature on the pizza stone. Doesn’t need to be accurate to a point of a degree so this is a great little tool for the job.
I was advised to get one of these for my candle making and wax melts and I chose this one it had good reviews and im pleased that I did. It’s easy to handle and easy to use and what I liked most was it came with batteries and that once you’ve taken your reading and put it down it turns itself off quite quickly which is good.
My temperatures need to be precise or what I’m making will be ruined.
A handy gadget to have 8n the home too.
So I tried this on several items in our home and it was very precise I thought so I do reccomend this and give it 5 stars
Used principally for measuring the temperature of water before adding yeast in baking (40 degrees). Also the temperature of my frying pan when making crumpets (190 degrees).
For the water I cross-checked with a meat probe reading and found just a few degrees difference – which could be explained by the meat probe measuring inside the water and the gun measuring the surface temperature?
I had no way of cross-checking the temperature of my frying pan so took the measurement at face value – and the crumpets cooked perfectly.
I’m happy with the performance of this item and would recommend.
