Does what I want!
Brilliant, exactly what I wanted, be careful which way you put the film in because it can get stuck, had to get a knife to pry it out but that’s probably down to me not reading the instructions clearly!
Flash was sufficient enough in dark areas but didn’t over saturated the photo
i love this camera and it has been a dream yo have one tho i like the mini evo better and it has been almost 3 months since i received and it has been producing quality pictures. note that you need to always take off the batteries if you aren’t using it for a long time.
Easy to use
I absolutely love this instance mini 40 instant camera. So easy to use. I bought it to take photos of my Grandchildren for a small album. Pictures come out really clear. I’m delighted with it.
Takes great pictures, with the film not being to expensive. Super easy to use, and definitely a good instant camera. The vintage look is immaculate and I can’t get enough of it, and for the price you pay its honestly not too bad. It’s not the cheapest but I don’t regret buying it.

I bought this item as a gift and it was a brilliant gift as it was very easy to use just insert the blank Polaroids and snap the photo. It also has a small mirror on the camera for selfies and a nice viewing hole for taking photos. Simplest version of a polities but brilliant for just fun photos and definitely worth the money.
Heavy but very easy to use and a fun camera. Obviously not high definition but that’s great for selfish, at 59!
Very good for price. Great and reasonable price film and easy to understand, with diagrams instructions. Excellent present, package I had comes with 20 shots and batteries.
I’ve been a fan of Instax cameras for a while now, ever since I used one at a friend’s wedding. Unfortunately the majority of the models at this price point tend to look like toys.
Not so with the Mini 40, I love the vintage and textured appearance. Taking photos is easy too, no fiddly settings to tinker with here. Just two buttons – One to extend the lens barrel, and the other to shoot.
I found that the pictures that the camera produces are generally good under most lighting conditions and there’s something about instant photography that’s just fun – and addictive.
Anyway, I’ve had the Mini 40 for a few weeks now and am very happy with it so far. It’s a great camera that not only produces good pictures, but is also simple and fun to use. I easily recommend it.
Having had a Fuji Share SP-1 instax camera for a few years, I’ve been wanting to replace all-in-one instax camera. This is so that I can quickly take and produce photos on the go. I recently ordered one of these and carried it around all weekend.
The retro, faux black leather look housing instantly reminds me of the old film cameras of yesterday-year. The camera itself is small and light enough to carry around on a day-to-day basis. It was great to quickly grab it out of my bag, press the single button to power it on and have it ready-to-use straightaway. I managed to capture some wonderful photos of my daughter, family (and the obligatory selfie or two which the mirror on the front helps with!).
For anyone who wants to have a super-simple instant camera with them on the go, this one should definitely be high-up on their shopping list.
I bought this after using my sisters Instax camera and loving the pictures it makes- I’m really happy with it! It’s very easy to use and I’ve been able to take lots of good snaps with my 2.5yo daughter playing in the park and in the house. The selfie mode is cool and works how you’d expect with the little mirror to line it up. It’s very retro looking and feels solid and well made. It’s small/light enough to go in my day bag when we’re out and about, I’m enjoying having it handy and already have given a bunch of shots out to people to keep. Would recommend if you want a straightforward camera to take credit-card sized instant photos with!
