High quality metal OTG memory stick!
The Joiot 128GB USB flash drive arrived very professionally packed in a professionally printed blister pack.
The device is made from metal with a rotating alloy cover which rotates to reveal either the USB A plug or the USB C plug.
All parts are high quality without any rough edges or moulding flash and the alloy cover is smooth and well finished.
The device has a capacity of 128GB and features OTG capability for use with appropriate mobile telephones.
Data transfer was smooth with the device easily managing its full stated capacity, which is always a worry nowadays with so many cheap fake USB drives on the market.
A good value purchase for anyone needing to store larger amounts of data.
Handy to have both USB types
I needed a USB stick that I was able to use on either my phone and or my laptop and so I went with this one.
I got the 128GB model –
The build quality is superb with a metal finish so its very strong and sturdy.
The swivel mechanism works well too and nicely dampered so its does not just spin on its axis its well put together.
My PC reads the full 128GB Well 117GB of usable storage. This stick is also impressively tiny.
I’ve not done a full speed test on it but I find it adequate for my needs.
At a smidge under 9 for 128GB this is an absolute steal! – Great price
Great versatile memory stick
What’s not to like with this memory stick, it’s small, durable, well made, has plenty of storage and transfers at a fairly decent rate. I find it great for attaching to my keys and adding some music or videos and I can use it whenever I’m travelling in smart tv’s. An added bonus is the flexibility of the USB-C/USB-A switch-a-roo, this is handy when wanting to connect to my laptop when using other USB-A ports. All in all a good little device.
Small And Convenient To Use Flash Drive
I really like the design of this JOIOT USB C Memory Stick. It is compact with a sturdy metal outer casing with a loop which can be used to attach it to a keyring. This USB drive has both USB-A and C connectivity making it very versatile for transferring files between different devices. The inner part of the drive rotates inside the outer housing enabling the user to select which type of connection is to be used. After formatting, it has provided me with 117GB of usable storage space. I tested the data transfer speed with it connected to my PC and found that 1GB of video took a little more than a minute to write to the drive. The makers specify a read speed of up to 70mbs and having played back the 4K video I put onto the drive there were no issues at all. It is in my opinion a reasonably priced, versatile flash drive which looks and feels well made. Having used it a number of times it has performed well. Recommended.
Small but big capacity

Nothing really to dislike. With 118 GB, no hidden nasty malware, small metal case and double USB-C and USB-A ports it is a great flash drive to have attached to your keys or work card etc. Nowadays all is in cloud/google drive and one drive, but still this is so handy to transfer larger files between laptops or for a back up of the work files.

Slow but cheap
This is a very attractive, small and stylish memory stick which, despite its slow performance, is useful for keeping copies of files.
Out of interest I compared this memory stick with one I bought 20 years ago.
2004: 256MB 45
2024: 128GB 9
So a 51200% increase in memory for 20% of the cost.
it is absolutely tiny.
This USB memory stick is absolutely tiny, but in all fairness it works really well, the swivel feature keeps this stick compact, the smooth chrome design is very stylish, my only issue is that I may lose it at the bottom of my handbag, the only other niggle is that there is no cover for the ports as one is always open to picking up dust and fluff, but besides that I am really happy with it.

I’m not an IT techie or expert of any sort, so when it comes to data transfer/write speeds of memory sticks and all that other stuff – meh! All I need to know is that they’re malware free, they work and have enough free space for whatever I want to save. So, I scanned this memory stick for viruses using a couple of apps, ran a Disk Scan, checked its properties, etc. The memory stick is formatted to exFAT, and has 117GB available space — and I’ve already transferred several big media files from my laptop to it, and back without any problems. I like that it’s a 2-in-1 with both USB-A and USB-C connectors — saves me having to dig out a card reader. But never exclusively rely on a memory stick as secure backup for important files!

This memory stick is indeed tiny. But it has a handy attachment point for a keyring or lanyard, otherwise the danger to lose it would be very high. It supports USB A and USB C and works well with my phone and our computer and comes very handy to transfer files, even big ones, from one to the other, since it has a capacity of 117 GB.
17mb write speed
A nicely made USB memory stick, especially with both the USB C and A connectors. It feels super nice in the hand due to the full metal construction.
The listing states 70MB read speed, and that may be the case , but the write speed for me were 17MB/sec…painfully slow.
I guess the read speed could be a more important aspect, especially if you are using it for video files

This review is for the ‘ JOIOT USB-C connector… 2-in-1 USB C memory stick’. It arrives in sealed cellophane, within a small padded envelope. (There are no instructions with it.)
It has USB-C port and USB-A port and is easy to use. It is useful for transferring information or photos from one device to another.
It is small and compact and has a nice design. The middle part with the ports on twists around 360 degrees – you just have to flip it to whichever port you need, which leaves the un-used one protected. It is very smooth and easily clicks into place.
There is a hole in the top so it can be put on a keyring.
It has a large storage capacity at 128GB.
We have tested it by using USB-A to connect into the laptop, copied some files and then transferred them using the USB-C to a mobile phone.
It is very useful and we are really pleased with it.
Genuine 128gb capacity. Solid build. Slow if you are using for video transfers
The drive is well made and solidly built.
Usb c and A adaptors both work well.
The drive locks in each position.
Checked capacity with a free program called Validrive (good) and it showed that the drive is a genuine 128gb.
If you only need a drive for documents and photo storage , then this should be fine.
But the transfer speeds you get, are quite slow.
So if you are always transferring large files especially video, i would pick a faster drive.
If speed is not an issue, then this drive is quite good.
