Minecraft in Real Life quasi.
Fun and educational for little hands
The vibrant colors and sturdy magnetic tiles were an instant hit with my little ones. Hours were spent building towers, castles, and imaginative structures that seemed to defy gravity. It’s a simple concept, but the possibilities are truly endless. The set encourages creativity and problem-solving skills, and it’s a wonderful way to keep them entertained away from screens. Cleanup is a breeze, too, thanks to the magnetic attraction that keeps everything together. A fantastic addition to our playtime routine.
Colorful and creative building fu
These magnetic blocks have become a surprise hit in our household. The vibrant colors and variety of shapes spark creativity in my little ones. The pieces are sturdy and easy for small hands to manipulate. It’s a welcome change from the usual toys.
Would be better if there were more pieces
Both my kids love Minecraft and I think this is a great and unique way of bringing Minecraft to life. I was surprised how much fun can be had from these little blocks. They loved creating unique designs out of them. Unfortunately though there’s only so many scenes you can recreate before it gets a little boring so I think it would be better if it was sold as one big set and included a few more water and soil pieces. That way I think it would be a little more fun to play with.
Great for Minecraft lovers
These are some seriously excellent-quality Minecraft themed blocks; they have a high-quality feel to them and have been finished to a very high grade, leaving no sharp or uneven edges. Blocks of various kinds can be used to construct one or two “trees,” and the concept is strikingly similar to the game it seems to mimic. The magnets within are powerful and function effectively no matter which way you arrange any component. Although the magnets jangle inside the cubes, they are powerful enough to adhere to surfaces such as whiteboards, metal bedposts, refrigerators, and radiators in addition to one another.
Good value magnetic blocks
I received this product through the Amazon Vine programme and this review is based on my girlfriend’s opinions.
I got the 37 piece cherry blossom set for my 3 year old nephew to play with as he loves building blocks and these were no exception. Nicely made and very colourful these blocks are a lot of fun. Being magnetic they hold in place allowing you to create some interesting designs. They also lock together when tidying away which is a nice feature for parents. Good fun.
Added an interactive twist to his playtime
I got this for my son, and he instantly loved the vibrant farm-themed pieces like pumpkins, watermelons, and patches of soil that let him create his agricultural landscapes. The magnetic feature makes it easy for him to assemble and adjust his creations, adding an interactive twist to his playtime. The details are impressive, and the pieces are just the right size for his little hands. At 14.99, it seems like a solid investment, and I’m hoping it holds up well over time. Recommended for imaginative play and learning!
good magnets
The kids love Minecraft but the sets are quite a lot of money so I jumped at the chance to get these!
The magnets do rattle around inside the cubes but they’re strong enough to stick to the fridge, radiators, metal bedposts and whiteboards as well as themselves.
The kids love to make scenes with the cubes and move them around their room. If you have a Minecraft lover in the house i’d recommend these as a gift!
Magnetic blocks
Much better than I thought, my son also got very excited when he saw these magnetic blocks.
I thought they were cheaper but they are currently priced at 14.99.
The set includes 20 little magnetic tiles that are light but so far seem sturdy.
The magnets are fairly good enough to hold the pieces together but as soon as you manipulate them they may disassemble.
The tiles are user-friendly, making it simple for young children to start building them and they are made from non-toxic materials.
Overall I would recommend them.
Magnetic toy
This is a little set of mini magnetic fumes which is a great time for the kids. It has designs on them so that you can build some trees. There are green parts and pink parts there are also Brown pieces which you can use for the bark. This makes a very nice tree setting which also has some Pink blossomy leaves. The magnets I really strong and the pieces click well together. The kids really enjoy playing this as the magnet is strong and it does a really cute little set. The set comes in a clear container and it fits perfectly and nicely. It is a really compact toy and can be taken along. It is not the cheapest toy, so I am not so sure if it is worth the money however my kids do enjoy playing with it and it is a nice toy.
Nice
I find it an expensive toy to collect especially when you buy small packs separately as it’s really just few pieces and you need more to fully build something substantial. We have 3 small packs and when built together, it is still small. However, the toy itself is well made and robust. Connects properly and securely and quite intertaining for Minecraft fans like my son.
My son has been kept busy with these
My son is delighted with these building blocks. They are all cubes and remind him of building in Minecraft. They join together with magnets so you can build structures and they won’t fall down.
All the pieces are neatly organised in a small plastic storage box.
Lots of fun, nice storage case, can be combined with other sets.
This magnetic cherry blossom building block set features minecraft like world building blocks. They come in a small transparent case and the blocks are satisfyingly fun to play with. You don’t get alot in it (37) but enough to keep your child engaged and possible to make lots of different styles. There’s basic wood blocks (with tops and bottoms), cherry blossom blocks which form the tree and then additional cherry blossom blocks which chave other sides. There’s also dirt blocks. Can be combined with other sets they sell for multiple creations. I love magnets myself and this is a fun fidget toy for me too.
Minecraft style magnet blocks **awesome**
I bought both my son & grandson these magnet blocks. My son, grandson, and granddaughters all love to play for hours. Great purchase.. These are definitely a toy for boys and girls. Fun for everyone. I even enjoy playing with them myself.. The magnet blocks come in different styles, and they do come in plain colors.
Magnetic blocks
Very cute cherry blossom tree magnet blocks. Great quality plastic, with clear prints that don’t scratch. The magnets are strong, so branches are easy to make. Enough blocks to make a few small trees or one big tree, and they are compatible with other similar sets.
Great for Minecraft fans. 🌳
My daughter is a huge Minecraft fan, so the Kid Odyssey Magnetic Blocks Build Mine Magnet World Set was an instant hit.
She absolutely adores these magnetic tiles and spends hours creating her own little worlds.
The quality of these blocks is very good.
Each piece feels sturdy and well-made, with strong magnets that hold the structures together firmly.
Although they are a bit smaller than we anticipated, this hasn’t caused any problems.
In fact, the smaller size seems to make them more manageable for little hands.
One of the standout features is the Farmland theme, which adds an extra layer of fun and creativity.
My daughter loves incorporating her Minecraft-inspired ideas into her builds, and it’s wonderful to see her imagination at work.
This set also provides excellent educational value.
It’s a fantastic way to encourage STEM learning through play.
Building with the magnetic tiles helps develop spatial awareness, fine motor skills, and problem-solving abilities.
The Kid Odyssey Magnetic Blocks Build Mine Magnet World Set is a wonderful toy that offers both fun and educational benefits.
Despite being slightly smaller than expected, the high quality and engaging theme make it a brilliant choice for any young Minecraft enthusiast or budding builder.
Highly recommended!
Great for Minecraft fans
Great set of Minecraft magnetic blocks, they stick together well and look really nice when you create different patterns with them, my only issue is the pictures are misleading to what size they actually are and they are a lot smaller than they look in the pictures. Other than that they are really nice looking and come in a handy storage box.
Lovely set of blocks
Love these magnetic blocks. They are small and light, so it’s easy and compact to take in your bag. The magnets are strong, so it’s easy to build. My little one plays with these every morning at the table during breakfast. Fun way for her to use her imagination.
100%would recommend.
Lighter than they look
Here we have a case of 37 magnetic crafting cubes for people in to mining.
They come in a plastic carry case. While it isn’t particularly attractive, it is clear what you’re getting.
They would appear to be *inspired* by a popular cube based mining game, though the printing of the blocks is not quite as clear and high quality as I would have liked.
The cubes are made of plastic, contain a moving magnet and are fairly solid and they stick to each other nicely.
These will make an excellent gift for anyone who likes open world construction games, but keep in mind that the small number of blocks makes a single set fairly limited.
Colourful and sturdy magnetic blocks
These are lovely and they come in a useful plastic box to keep them all together.
They’re magnetic but not overly strong so rather than snapping together they gently sick together.
They’re designed to make trees and are decorated appropriately but in actual fact they can be used to make anything the child can imagine.
I really like these they’re very sturdy and robus
Small but magnetically they stick well
These are much smaller than the typical mine craft blocks and figures although some of the figures associated with this very popular game are mini and would compliment this set of blocks.
These stick together really well and the magnets inside seem to be loose so that there is no repelling of the blocks, they’ll literally stick together in any form.
They arrived in a compact plastic box so this makes it easier to store away.
The price is a tad steep imo at 14.99 at time of review however I see there is a 30% promo code at the moment.
These would compliment mine craft toys but the amount you get really won’t create much of a scene on their own.
None the less they would add to the whole mine craft world and considering my boy is really into this game at the moment and has various figures etc these are a welcome addition to his collection.
Although these aren’t branded they are very similar to the actual toys just a smaller version.
Flowering cherry tree expansio
This is a smaller set of 37 magnetic blocks, which together can be used to build a Minecraft-esque blossoming cherry tree, complete with fallen blossoms in the grass blocks, and a wood pieces for the tree trunk.
The blocks come in a small plastic storage box with a hinged lid. I do feel like they should have filled the box up with a few extra blocks rather than left a bunch of empty space in it. When stored away, the set doesn’t look complete.
The set itself isn’t enough to make anything fancy or be too imaginative, and really it is an expansion to the base set of blocks also by Kid Odyssey, which contains a larger number and variety of blocks to build with. As we do have the base set, this set compliments it very well, and allows more elaborate creations to be made,
I dislike how all but the very last image on the listing shows a lot more blocks than you actually get, and I feel like they need to be much clearer in the listing showing what you will actually get with this set. Most of the images combine this set along with another farmland expansion set.
I would say the expansion set is expensive, however I’ve not seen another product quite like this one and it is a very good toy, with the magnets beings strong and builds which stay together well. My boys love this expansion set and it has significantly improved their existing set.
Great magnetic blocks - small though.
I can’t deny that my young daughter thinks these are fabulous. She’s a big fan of the, ahem, well-known crafting game series and these little magnetic blocks look every bit the part.
They come nicely presented in a little plastic storage case and building wise, although the magnets aren’t the strongest, they hold surprisingly well and are easy for youngsters to build with.
A couple of slight gripes. Firstly they’re small – it’s a bit of a shocker on arrival as to just how small they are lol.
Secondly, there’s not many blocks in the set – just 20. The listing makes it seem like there’s more by placing several sets together. I find this slightly misleading. With just 20 blocks, you will definitely need to buy more.
They’re a tad pricey considering the size and amount of blocks included, however they build well, look great and feature some nice detail. Youngsters of the popular mining series are sure to love them 🙂
Interesting magnetic blocks that attract on all sides.
This a small cased set of magnetic blocks. They only attract which is clever. They have a rattling sound which I assume is the secret to no repulsion.
There are 20 blocks in a small plastic snap case.
Annoyingly, yet again, the photos make them look bigger than they are . They are 20mm cubes.
Good items but you need a whole lot more to make them of use. This 20 for 14.99 makes them very expensive.
Clever idea. Need a big box at lower price.
Fab for travel
A great little set for lovers of a certain popular block building game!. The blocks come in a convienant plastic storage box and would be great as a travel toy. The blocks have a variety of patterns although my 7yr old complained there were too many hay bales and not enough dirt blocks to build what he wanted! you could always buy multiple sets however. The blocks are magnetic and stick together making a little click sound (bit hard to describe!) so you know they have attached. They wouldnt be suitable for younger children as they do pose a choking hazard.
