Good quality product, good adhesion makes it easy to position on a repair. Have used to fix several holes on a tent & they are still well inplace after several days & in different weathers. Would recommend.
Fixed a tear on suitcase
My suitcase was damaged during cruise baggage handling.
Perfect size suitcase for my needs, decided to try this tape rather than replace the bag and dispose of this one. It worked perfectly. To be fair, it wasn’t a huge tear, but I was concerned that the bag would tear further if checked in.
This works well
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Very sticky and can be a bit difficult to get off the roll without ripping the backing paper due to excess glue around the edges of the roll, however I found using a nice flat knife between the tape you are pulling off and the roll helps no end. Backing paper can be a challenge to remove. I cleaned the rips/holes in our plastic/nylon type garden furniture covers with some meths to give the tape a clean area to stick to. Tape goes on really well and sticks beautifully, the use of wallpaper seam roller can help, on any really bad rips/holes I taped the inner and outer surface. Had plenty of rain recently, not one leak. For the price the roll could be a bit longer, otherwise very pleased with purchase.
Used this to repair a long tear on my air beam tent. I used on the outside and the inside, but the roll ran out before I’d covered the whole tear. Would have expected this to me a bit longer. It covered most of it though. Camping again soon, so will see how it holds up in the English summer (!)
