This product was sent to me to review, as part of Amazon Vine. Below is my own real-world experience of using it.

I was particularly drawn to it, as one of my children is a fan of the Minions, and would love that they are now available as a Lego set. The ‘banana car’ element is especially fun.

The build time is about right for the suggested age – it took me around 30 minutes to complete, without too much difficulty. Each step in the instruction booklet is clear, detailed and easy to follow. My only observation here, is that it wasn’t always obvious about where some of the really tiny pieces should go, meaning that I accidentally missed those steps (Bob’s paintbrush being an example).

Once constructed, I liked the variety of characters and accessories that were included, and the swap ability of some of them (you can remove the flaming part of the car, and give it to the strong Minion etc.).

Unfortunately, the set I received appeared to have a slight issue – ‘Bob’s’ feet were not quite level, so he could not stand up properly. For the photo, I had to angle his ray gun downwards, using it like a tripod to support him. As the feet are permanently fixed on to the characters when you receive them, there’s nothing that can be done to resolve that kind of issue, short of looking for a replacement part.

Regardless, it is a nice set that my child will get a lot of enjoyment from. Recommended.

Fun and engaging build
Building this set was an absolute delight. The pieces fit together smoothly, and the instructions were clear and engaging. The Minion figures are incredibly detailed and add a lot of character to the set. My favourite part is the banana car, which has some clever design features that make it fun to play with. The accessories included add a lot of replay value, making it a versatile toy for imaginative play. It’s a fantastic addition to any collection, providing hours of entertainment and creativity.

Some of the nicest Lego designs I've see
This set contains some of the best designs around. The Minions characters look amazing, with their printed eyes and costumes. Although it’s only a 136 piece set, there’s a huge amount of variety, with a range of characters each doing different things. The banana car is epic.

If you have a kid who is into Minions, they’ll absolutely love this. It combines all of the best aspects of Minions, with all of the best aspects of Lego. Incredibly inventive collection.

Great fun minion Lego
Got this for my 6 year old nephew.

This Lego set contains 4 minions, banana car and accessories within this 136 piece set. It’s ideal for younger children as there aren’t many pieces so they won’t get bored. My nephew loved putting this together and made his own little movie show up with it afterwards!

The pieces are the usual Lego high quality with good workmanship. The pieces fit together great and it’s perfect for a younger child.

Overall, I’m really happy with this Lego set. It’s a real fun set with the minions in and not overwhelming to put together. Plenty of fun to be had with the set once it is built too. My nephew loves it.

Cute Lego se
This is my very first Lego Minion set and I must say that it is an absolutely amazing set. The banana car along with the 4 minions is very cute. My kids were very excited to make this set and they made it in a very short space of time. Once made, the set looks beautiful. Kids were worried if the minions’ eyes were stickers as if the stickers were placed incorrectly it would ruin the set. We were all pleased to know that the set does not have any stickers but the bricks are pre-printed. Absolute fun to make. Brilliant quality. Great price. Highly recommended.

Kids want more minion sets to add to this set 🙂
