I cleared the dining table for several evenings and still underestimated how massive the finished Falcon would be. Building the internal rooms was my favourite part because so much detail sits underneath the removable panels, including the Dejarik table, engineering area and gunner station. The cockpit looks brilliant with the crew inside, and swapping the sensor dish lets me choose which film era to display. Once finished, it feels solid, heavy and far more impressive in person than in photos. Finding a permanent place for it took some planning, but nobody walks past without stopping to look. Easily one of the most satisfying LEGO builds I have completed.
By far my favourite ucs Star Wars set. This thing is huge, the detail inside and out is amazing. This is no quick build but it’s solid and I loved every minute of building it. The figures all look great and it’s very sturdy when moving it to a shelf etc.
The falcon is sat proudly on my shelf I just need to order a stand for it to make it look even better. 10/10
El mejor UCS de Lego hasta la fecha
Posiblemente el set de Lego Starwars UCS que debes tener. Es muy frgil, no es para jugar solo para exponer, pero la experiencia de construccin es muy buena y sobre todo es “el Alcon Milenario”. !!!
Una gran mejora para otras opciones de UCS del Alcon y una presencia espectacular una vez montado.
Mi primer UCS y el imprescindible.
Te aconsejo comprar una base para exponerlo en vertical y no moverlo pues es muy frgil.
Tiene interiores con cierto detalle pero no los usars por la fragilidad en su manipulacin.
Muchos influencer ponen otros UCS en mejor lugar que este pero vers que en sus fondos de exposicin siempre este Set aparece en posicin especial.
Great build, takes a long time, a little on the flimsy side in a few places underneath, heavy and a bit hard to move when fully built, definitely worth building for the amount of bricks and time it takes so it is worth the money, some parts are a bit tricky to work out where they fit together with instructions but loved this build
Enjoying the Lego build the Falcon is one of the iconic lego kits. It is fantastic till you get to see Disney sequel on the side of the box. The Falcon is still the Falcon superb and a joy to put together but the minifigs pah. Got the dark Falcon as well before and that is a joy in itself owning Darth Jar Jar is it’s own reward but I fear the sequel stain on the original is too much was going to look at getting the og minifigs to replace the sad sequels
Beautiful, a dream to put togethe
This has to be the best set I’ve ever made yes it’s expensive but it’s worth it I worked on it a couple hours a night and it took me 5 weeks to complete I’ve gave it 5 stars because it’s that good i can’t fault it at all i recomend this set for anyone who likes star wars or just anyone who likes lego it’s fantastic. If you buy this set i do think you should get the stand to go with it it makes the millennium falcon look even better. i will say one last thing if you do buy this set take your time with it and enjoy

his thing is huge and worth every penny, if you are on the fence like i was, take the leap, you wont be disappointed, took over a week to build doing many hours on an evening (some late nights too).
All the bags are numbered , make sure you sort out your bags as there are many and its easy to miss one.
this kit needs a large space to build it, a decent sized dining table or similar .
The Ultimate Challenge
This thing is huge. Photos do not do it justice. You Tube videos don’t do it justice. I’m 65, in a wheelchair, no feeling in my right hand and no lift in either shoulder. I did my first Lego 10 weeks earlier (the UCS R2-D2). Challenge accepted.
The instruction book is beautiful, and must be a not insignificant part of the price, but it is too large and unwieldy. I used the pdf instructions on my iPad. I notice subsequent large builds employ multiple smaller books.
Once you have sorted the bags and worked out a strategy for separating the bricks in each step, away you go. You start off with a very solid internal frame made mostly from Lego beams; feet; internal rooms, 2 very detailed; side frames; front mandibles; lower cladding; air lock tunnels; lower gun turret; upper cladding; cockpit; upper gun turret. Your finished.
I gave myself a month to do it and took 27 days. With my disability I needed assistance to place a few panels, but not many. If I was designing it I would do some things differently. The mandibles are not supported adequately. Most of the upper cladding is held by one pin or gravity alone. The start of the build is precise and solid. The finish of the build is detailed but fragile with a somewhat sloppy feel. Initially I was disillusioned with the finish but it has grown on me. It is undeniably impressive. It demands attention.
It was definitely worth the investment in time and money. Now I’ve just got to find somewhere to put it.
Pride of my Collectio
While not an easy or lightweight kit (took me days, and is massive/weighs a ton!) I don’t regret this purchase at all. It’s easily my favorite set. So much fun to put together, and it looks amazing with the optional stand I purchased. If you have an absurd amount of money that I probably shouldn’t have dropped, you should go for it.
All started out very well, and we were excited to start the build. Unfortunately got a few hours into the build only to find out a brick was missing, which was integral part to the build. Unfortunately ruined our experience of a very expensive piece of lego. Contacted lego and shipment has been sent out of a replacement brick, but going to take a few weeks to arrive. So a very expensive pile of lego is sat doing nothing spoiling a child’s birthday. Apart from that, I’m sure it will look great in the games room once we are able to resume the build.
I asked my hubby what he would like instead of a chocolate Easter egg, he said some Lego would be good. So I got him this
Needless to say he’s a happy hubby. Only problem is that the instructions come in a book that looks like a 1980s Yellow Pages, so he ditched it in favour of the e-version on his tablet.
