    Window film
Fantastic D.I.Y product, easy to apply and easy to work with. Hardly any waste. Our double glazed window had a water mark in-between the panes of glass nothing major but you knew it was there, this product transformed that window and also gave us a little privacy in our dining room. The film is so easy to work with to finish it off PERFECTLY I was able to, with a very cheap paint scraper which is thin and bendy to tuck the film between the glass and the rubber seal. What a difference and only a fraction of the price getting a new double glazed panel fitted. Would highly recommend. BONUS no D.I.Y skills needed. Adheres with water.

    Excelle
Customer service were great. Make sure you use soapy water on the window and the back of the sheets when you’ve peeled off the back. Use a squidgy from centre outwards to the ends.

    Did the job perfectly
Used this on our home office and it looks great. Easy to use and let’s in a perfect amount of light. I have a few bubbles but not noticeable from outside.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBrilliant!!
Love this product, I had been struggling trying to find something to make these doors a little more private without totally covering them up. It was so easy to put up I think it took me about 45minutes and looks great.

Cheaper than replacing my clear glass
We’ve recently converted a box room into a small bathroom and rather than replace the glass in the window, I decided to use this to obscure the glass.

It’s really easy to apply. Clean the glass, then dampen it with a bit of water and washing up liquid and then apply the film (cut to size). There is a small squeegee supplied to help get the air bubbles out.

The film works really well and looks great! It’s saved me the cost of replacing the glass. I’m really pleased with the result!

Easy to install and looks grea
Really easy to install although you probably need an old plastic store card or similar to push bubbles out to the side. After a quick clean of the glass and then spraying it liberally with slightly soapy water, it was easy to stick on. If you use soapy water, you only need a tiny, tiny amount of soap otherwise you get suds on the underside which are a bit of a pain to push out. Our glass was about 1cm wider than the film, which wasn’t a problem at all, especially at a distance. You can see that it doesn’t quite reach the edges when close up, but I preferred not cutting the whole length of film on a 170cm glass panel.

It probably took me 45mins to install from start to finish. Extra items you might want to consider:
    – plastic scraper to push bubbles out
    – sharp knife (e.g. craft knife) to cut any edges
    – spray bottle to spray water on the glass

The diamond pattern is really nice and finally you can’t see all the stuff in the storage half of our shed. We might buy another roll to do the three smaller windows. It will be lovely to sit in the garden and not look at what’s in there, but instead see the lovely pattern.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIf id known how easy it was i would have done it years ago
I decided to use this window film for my kitchen window as this is the only window where people walk past and can see in.

The window film comes with easy to understand instructions, that if followed you cant go wrong. The only other things you’ll need are a sharp knife, ruler/tape measure, spray bottle of water and a squeegee, i used a vinyl squeegee with a felt edge and this worked perfectly.

I took my time measuring the window and making sure i had enough window film before starting.

Following the instructions i had the first piece up in 15 minutes and the second 10 minutes later.

Absolutely amazed at how easy it was to put up and what a difference to our kitchen. No-one can see in now, if you’re outside all you can see are shapes even at night with the lights on in the kitchen its just blurry shapes.

I feel confident now that when i come downstairs to make my tea in the morning the neighbours cant see my birds nest of a hairstyle.

Good option for those with pets or want privacy
I have used these films before and there is definitely a technique to them. Plenty of soapy water is needed during application.
I have used this in a bedroom window where the cat likes to sit and watch the world go by. Can’t put blinds as cat has a tendency to get tangled and damage them. Works well. Also had a new double glazed window installed in the cellar and instead of paying extra for privacy glass, I just applied this screen which is more than adequate.
I like this privacy screen as you can apply them to anything with a glass sheet on it and get that privacy effect you want.
