    |Its taken me a while to review this as I wanted to get it set up correctly. I did a bit of research and found out the optimal projection size for where I wanted to use this. I have then bought a 84″ budget screen because none of my walls are not white. After setting everything up we used the built in Netflix app. The Apps are a great thought. The picture is better than expected for a budget projector but the sounds not the best – mainly because we use 5.1 so I just need to hook it up top the amp . Its great for gaming too, it put a whole new perspective on games. Overall its a great entry level projecto

This is a decent little portable and simple to use projector for what is a very small price(68.00 at time of review). Obviously with that price you aren’t going to be expecting anything breath taking or something to replace your television with. But what it is, is lightweight, easily adjustable on its fitted stand, very straightforward to connect to your phone or whatever device you fancy, and even the inbuilt speaker is serviceable (of course far better connected to an external speaker, we use our bluetooth speaker which sounds great).

Be careful not to lose the remote as you will need it as everything is controlled from there. Menus are easy to navigate with the remote, and the keystone correction etc. work well to get the screen displaying in the proper shape should you be projecting upwards from a table for instance.

The only real negative with this unit, which is to be expected at this price point, is brightness. It looks great in a nice dark room, but that is pretty essential for a decent imagine,. I was hoping we mighty be able to watch some of the Euro 2024 matches in the garden projected on our white wall under a gazebo in the early evening, but it definitely will not be suitable for that, even after the sun has gone down and it’s becoming slightly dark it is barely watchable in that environment.

Due to the above I am deducting one star, I can’t deduct any more as with the price and realistic expectations due to that, I think it’s a very worthy super-budget projector.

When it comes to projectors there will always be a split opinion on quality and brightness etc but if you’re not looking for perfection or selling your car to pay for a professional setup you could do a lot worse than this.

We set this up in our living room and projected from a shelf below or TV to the wall opposite as this is a white wall and the largest single surface in the room, the projector was roughly 2-2.5m away from the wall and the biggest projected screen size that was watchable was over 150″ in width (side to side not diagonal) and the 4k videos we tried from YouTube looked not only clear but quite vibrant as well, I hooked the projector up to my Series X to test it out and found that Fallout 4 was a bit too dark to play especially when in a dark building but Forza Horizon 5 in daytime in game looked stunning, I also tried a 4k sample of Aquaman and that looked pretty decent even in some of the darker scenes.

The projector does get pretty warm when in use, so this is something to consider when placing it, the power cable is not the longest, but it did the job, all the other inputs are on the back as well which makes it easier to manage, the sound quality was pretty good for a built-in speaker, not only was it loud enough, but it didn’t sound tinny and handled base well enough, the built-in wireless was easy enough to set up once you get it aligned and focused.

I didn’t have any issues with this projector at all and the only thing I’d improve is more locking options on the arm/stand as it would help with adjusting the location on the wall as currently it seems like it’s can be 90 degrees or 180 degrees, but maybe 5 degree notches would allow for more precise aiming.

We look forward to using this in the garden later in the year under the canopy in the evenings, but for now it will be my new way of watching YouTube in the living room.

5.0 out of 5 stars In the right room it's great.

Okay projector for the price. It’s a budget projector that’s simple to operate and comes equipped with an HDMI port, USB, and aux output. The quality of the actual projector feels good, and it has a built-in stand that is adjustable up to 180 degrees. I connected it to WiFi without any problems. The speaker sound isn’t the best, so I connected it to my sound bar via Bluetooth for a better experience. The main screen is very user-friendly and includes apps like YouTube and Netflix. Streaming works fine, and I was able to mirror my phone with no issues. It comes with a remote control, which you need since there are no control buttons on the projector itself. Picture quality is average not the brightest or the sharpest. It struggles during the day and really needs total light block out in the room for optimum viewing experience.

4.0 out of 5 stars Okay projecto

This is a small form factor projector with a remote control. It works from a three-pin UK plug. The remote takes two AAA batteries which are not supplied. When I first switched it on, the image was fuzzy and it took some digging to find the ability to sharpen the picture. Setting it up to work over wifi was simple. Streaming from Netflix and YouTube was also straightforward and worked well. The sound quality is OK. I linked it with my soundbar and that was better. I found there was no lag. The plug lead is a little short for my intended use in my studio for transferring my digital artwork references to canvas. As it’s only running at 35 watts, I had no qualms running it from an extension lead. It does run relatively warm though. Using it for art, I have to be very careful to have it on a stable base and not look into the projector lens. The image quality is adequate for this. As a portable projector, as long as I have access to a three-pin socket, it’ll do just fine. It is very compact, can be stored easily, and is always going to be handy when I need it. I need to be sure I don’t misplace the remote control. The unit has very little that you can do without it.

A great projector for the price. Especially because you can watch YT and Netflix without having to connect it to anything other than your wifi. Simple to set up. Initially blurry but after fine tuning image quality is sufficiently clear for your to enjoy films etc. For the price of this projector, can’t really complain.

This is a lovely projector. The picture quality in nice on a mid throw, however you need to make sure that the room is dark as it’s not the brightest.

It is very easy to set up, connected to my wifi without issues. There are several apps installed already, the main one we use is netflix.

The sound quality is good and this little thing is LOUD!

I got this for an outdoor space in our garden, but you have to wait until it’s pitch black. But it works fantastic in the bedroom, and has removed the need for a TV in there.

This won’t install the Disney plus app, but I screen shared from my phone and it worked fine.

For the price, this is a cracking little projector.

At the time of this review, you can get this compact projector for around 68
I would agree with most of the things in the Amazon advert for this compact projector.
You can use this projector wirelessly using
    HDMI
    Bluetooth
    WI-FI or
    USB
At first I tried to use this with a 1TB hard drive. Instructions say if less than 32gb it has to be FAT32, above 32gb the hardship drive has to be NTFS format. I have used my hard drive for years attached to my TV with very few issues, my hard drive is NTFS format but it was not recognised by the projector.

I then connected to my Wi-Fi, easy enough. The front screen had a quick link to YouTube and Netflix. I was able to stream videos from there very easily.
The projected image is not very clear, spend a bit more and get a brighter machine with more contrast, even in 5pm daylight ( not sunshine ) in UK in May and it’s hard to see this clearly

When scrolling through the settings I could not see the contrast between the items I was selecting and the next item, it wasn’t my eyes, I asked my son for a second opinion and it was confirmed.
Projecting across a room, maybe 18 ft and a lot of the writing on a gaming platform was visible but it was unreadable.. Big item okay but smaller items just fuzzy..

The sound is okay, I wasn’t expecting much but it was acceptable, better connected by Bluetooth to a quality speaker or surround sound
Described as ” portable” it fairly compact but no bag is provided for he power lead or the remote control. There is nothing except the focus that you can do without the remote control, you absolutely must not loose or break it.
It’s a good price for a projector and if the quality was there it would be a great price but it falls short in a few key ways for me.
As a cheap projector it’s fine
