Great scoote
Ordered this for my eight year old sons birthday and he loves it. It seems well built and sturdy. Assembly was a piece of cake and the size is just right for my boy. Good value for money.
Impressive quality 5 stars
This scooter was a little tricky to assemble the two pieces together, bit once I managed I was so impressed with how smooth strong and sturdy it felt. An extremely well build scooter. Perfect for my 10yr old and myself at 75kg alike. Would highly recommend vs other brands. As I brought a M.Y Skate at same time and the difference was unbelievable, the mongoose wins in every aspect not down to visual preference.

Good value for money . It s cheap comparing to other scooters, but very sturdy , well done . This is the second scooter from Mongoose , which I bought for my 7 years old son .

I’ve brought 2 of these 1 in christmas 23 for my boy and just got an other one for my nephews birthday brilliant scooters there love them no issues at all. I just need to remove the stunt pegs cos there getting caught up on slopes does anyone known bolt size I Need without the stunt pegs on them pls thanks

This is stated to be suitable for adults too, it probably is (it’s a really cool scooter) but for reference I’m 5ft6 and had to crouch too much for my liking to have a go
The scooter was easy to assemble, looks really nice (my girl has had lots of compliments from her friends “sick scooter Lola” ) its light weight and extremely good value for money! 100% recommended this for the kiddies
Brought this for my 11 year old son as his last one fell apart. Remembered the brand from my youth as they used to make pretty good BMX bikes. Was not disappointed with the scooter at all. Very good looking and sturdy and my son loves it.
Only thing to be aware of is that the handle bars do not adjust up or down in height. I didn’t realise this until it arrived (my fault for not looking properly) and was worried if it would be the correct size for my son.
However, it was absolutely fine and fitted him perfectly. The age is 8+ and i would definitely stick to that due to the size.
Overall a great scooter at a great price.

Nice stunt scooter but definitely not for a taller child. I bought this because someone told me it.would be fine for a 5ft5 11 year old. It’s okay but would need a taller one.
It comes up to just below her upper thigh. It will do for now but won’t get a long usage out of it.

I will say, it may be a little short for some adults and teens. I’m 5’1 and it fits me perfectly. Anyone taller in height by much more may find it too small.
Amazing scooter!
Amazing stunt scooter!!Bought for my 7 years old son he can use another 2 years probably. The most important thing is – the wheels are soooo quiet can’t even hear. I am highly recommended!
My daughter is 6 and LOVES this scooter. Very sturdy- looks like it will last years. Colours are great.
One negative was that the first one to arrive was scratched but Amazon sorted this straight away and replaced. Second one is perfect. All as advertised. Would recommend highly.
Great quality
The minute my son went on it he new it was good. He has tried quite a few that all his mates have and was thrilled with this one. It’s strong and surprisingly quite on concrete. I’m 90kg and had a go and it took my weight no problems. My son is 9 so he’s like a rocket on it.

Bought for my 8yo after having a smaller scooter. The handlebars are very wide (probably a bit wide for him at the moment) but he’ll grow into it 🙂
He loves it (partly because its orange) and is very quiet in use. Overall, just very good quality.
Pleasantly suprised
Really wasnt sure you could get a safe, sturdy scooter in this price range and my daughter in law is a big teen. It is solid. She bashes it about and has fun and allll very good! Would recommend!
This is the second scooter I’ve bought for my son as the other one broke (Bolt holding the handle bar to the base broke). This one seems to be ok but could have been constructed to be a little more sturdier but I think its the way the manufacturers want it to be – to keep people buying replacements.
In any case, its a good scooter and my son loves it.

My Grandson wanted an upgrade from his present scooter, & so we purchased the Mongoose Freestyle Scooter. We are very pleased with it. Very smooth ride on the skate ramps and looks good. My grandson loves the pegs. Recommend.

Looks great. 1st one came and handle bar wouldn’t fit into the bottom frame. But… replacement came and its really good. Looks good, feels good, rides good. Worth the money

Great quality scooter. My 12 years son uses this scooter to go to school. He is 5feet 5 inch..so definitely adult can ride this scooter. Easy Assembly. Built quality is good.
I purchased this for my son’s 13th birthday as he has outgrown his previous Maxi scooters. He wanted a “stunt” scooter and so i spent some time looking at the various ones available and was also mindful that you can spend 100+ on something that looks very similar to this one. He is now 5 foot 7 inches tall (and growing daily!) and so i needed one that would be suitable for an “adult” and this is perfect, it has a wider base and handlebars than the typical children’s ones and will therefore hopefully fit him for the years to come. The build quality appears to be very good and well put together (good quality wheels and handle grips for example) and a nice colour scheme (orange and black) with good / rough grip on the base. My only observation would be that the handlebars are stiffer than my daughters similar scooter which I would say is a good thing, but apparently means it is harder for him to rotate them 360 degrees if required – i suspect they will become looser with use. Overall very pleased and is very good value for money (compared to others) and i would recommend.
I bought three of those for my kids ( two girls and a boy) as I knew that Mongoose make quality stuff. The assembly takes literally 10 minutes: between taking the scooter out of the box, adjusting the headset play (I found it too tight on all 3), slotting on the handlebar and tightening the scs compression. The scooters are of a solid build, ride well and all kids want to do is watch some tricks on YouTube and go out and try them. I could not have asked for more.
Well worth the money. My 12 yr old son loves the birthday gift. True different colours of the same item can be a lot more expensive so if you are not bothered by the aesthetics and more the function and quality of the item then don’t hesitate.
Not good
Really disappointed, had to reconstruct a few times, son tried using to get to school and it fell apart in his hands. Main shift doesn’t sit properly in where it should do.
