Add some visual fun to your bonfires
Simple to use, just throw them on the fire and sit back. The different substances in the packets will cause your fire to burn with various fun colours. Very appealing.
Impressive
I wasn’t really sure what to expect from these as the reviews so far are mixed in terms of the length of time they work for. Firstly, I would recommend only using these outdoors as there is clearly a chemical reaction when they burn. Secondly, the sight of them burning is impressive, the flames do burn unusual colours and you do get that magical feeling which kids love. I found that they burned well for 5-10 minutes so it was enough to enjoy the colours without them fizzling out too fast. As such, with 10 packs, you’ve probably got one night covered if the kids want to keep changing the colour of the fire pit, that said, at the price, it’s not going to be a cheap affair. As a one off though, they were good.

My daughter loves a certain popular children’s book series, so when she came over to stay and we were having a bonfire, I threw one of these on the fire.
She loved the blue and green flames that came out, and which lasted for quite a long time.
You can’t use them before you cook on the flames, and they do last quite a while, and the residue left will still burn with a blue flame if reignited (but otherwise they burn down to nothing), but they provide a very vivid colour for “magic” effects for Halloween or similar.
Enough packets to keep the illusion going, at a good price.
Fun and pretty
We’ve been using these in our firepit at night in the garden and they’ve been great fun with their pretty visual effects, they recommend to use a few at once so the pack might not last as long as we originally thought but we used 3 and have around 15 minutes of a pretty colourful fire show which we and all of our guests really enjoyed.
These are safe to use and all you need to do is throw the whole sachet on, no need to open and then sit back and enjoy the show – a great idea and we will definitely be getting more, recommended.
Brilliant for the garden wood burne
These are brilliant for use in the garden. A sachet lasts for about 30 minutes which is very impressive and much longer than I expected. The effects are fantastic talking point. I say talking point but the first time we used it there was a lot of just staring and smiling.
Personally I would stick to using these outdoors. I’m not convinced I would want the fumes in the house added to which I have a thatched roof that I don’t want to take any risks with.
For outside use these are faultless and definitely worth every penny.
Not bad, but it's a short show
These work as intended, you throw a pack or two in the fire and watch the pretty colours, the kids certainly love it.
My only gripe is that they really don’t last long, you get a couple of minutes tops and then the show’s over. I can’t say as it’s too big a surprise as there’s probably no way to create a timed release to prolong the event, everything burns at the same time. It’s just a bit anticlimactic considering the price.
Still, not bad and certainly entertaining while they last.

We love fireworks night, its a day that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
It can get pretty pricey to keep everyone entertained, these are great value for money and will be a fun feature.
We have a fire pit and tried one sachet out, you simply chuck the whole packet in and see the flames change colour after a second.
They work really well, best to use them in the dark/ at night.

Throw them on the fire and watch the pretty colours in the flame. What more could you ask for? Everyone loves a good fire pit and these add a touch of fun to it.
Only thing is that I wouldn’t use them inside. There’s some chemicals in them that I’d rather keep out of the log burner.
Great little addition for the fire pit or camp fire
So I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from these mystical colour changing fire sachets.
You get a pack of 10 and one sachet was enough for around 30-45 minutes of colourful flames (the ones we’ve tried so far lasted longer than the advertised 20-25 minutes).
And what a show!
You get lots of different colours at different times (mainly green, (from the copper), blue (from the sodium) and pink (from the potassium) and it really does make a great talking point and a great show. Our kids loved it and the younger kids thought it was really magical (I think on a new audience I may even get away with doing a Harry Potter impression and calling myself a magician for the night).
At around 1.30 per sachet currently it’s definitely worth it for the novelty factor and I’m happy to use these on an outdoor fire pit. It’s not entirely clear what the ingredients are and so I think I’d personally stick to outdoor use (it just states that the sachets contain ‘copper sulfate’, sodium chloride and potassium chloride) and, for example, you shouldn’t breathe copper sulfate dust or fumes…

Mystical Colour Changing Fire Sachets
We were impressed with the performance of these colour changing fire sachets. Each pack comes with 10 sachets. Each sachet lasted about 20 mins, and we’ve already used 4 of them since we’re not using the stove as frequently in warmer weather. It’s certainly been a fun experience for our kids to see the vibrant colours while our wood burning stove was on. Although our glass door definitely needs a good clean, we were treated to a dazzling rainbow of colours from the fire. I’m looking forward to trying them out in our firepit next. At 12.99, they’re decent value for the experience they offer and it’s not necessarily something that you’d use on a regular basis so the 10 sachets should last a while.

Wasn’t convinced before using these but wow I’m shocked! These are amazing!! The kids absolutely loved it and we spent more time watching the fire than the tv. We only used one bag in our log burner and that was plenty to make a great colourful show! And lasted for around 45 mins so good value. These will be getting used both inside as. Outside this summer and definitely a party piece!! Great fun!
So mesmerising
Coming as a ten pack, these are plastic wrapped and not meant to be opened and thrown directly into a fire. They have no real smell and melt away to nothing so should be good for a fireplace if you choose to do so.
They last a few minutes each but if you can get it in right (ours fell through the aeration grill once or twice) all through the night it’ll catch a bit and throw in some colour which is just beautiful for any evening or party.
If you get the whole packet ontop it’ll let off a fire display that will have the kiddies just begging for another and to be honest you’d be hard pressed not to want to throw a second one on yourself the colour captures so well.
Throwing more doesnt really add anymore than 1 and used sparing will have a great night or over the course of a weekend for a pack. If you catch it just right like we did, you can have one last a whole night just throwing in colours randomly which is where it was best personally.
We lit a fire just to try these. Better than expected.
I was sceptical about these but as we burn logs through the winter I was keen to have one last fire to try them.
We waited until the bed was well glowing but still had flames and threw in a pack. Its a slow start as you watch the bag melt away then over some time we got loads of green and blue flames!
The effect is stunning at times and certainly a talking point. The flickering blue was the best effect.
It also lasts for ages. After 30 mins the colours were still present.
Only downer is price at over 1.50 per bag it will be for special occasions only.
I was so impressed that I will get more of these through the year ready for autumn when the log burn season restarts.

We often have a fire pit outside and these are great fun to entertain the kids and also the big kids. Visually appealing and a fun talking point. ordered as a reviewer and my thirst thought was less than 30 seconds and done but not close.
Chucked 2 of these on a fire chimney expecting to see a quick set of vivid colours like fireworks and be done in no time at all, well to my surprise these are still throwing off colours in to the flame a good half hour after putting them in so are definitely slow burning, they do make the fire more of a centerpiece in our garden even though flames are very nice to look at this adds another depth to an open fire.
The pack contains 10 sachets so this will be hours of fun for adults and children to visualise the effects.
Price wise although these are pricey they to me are well worth it to add an effect, especially if you are throwing a summer party so are an easy 5 stars.
