Value for money
These was a lot better than l expected they are really well made easy to put together and look great in the garden lm well pleased with them . Would highly recommend and buy again size is real good bigger than l though
Well worth the money.
Larger than we thought ? Decided to use each one separately. Easier to get into as putting one in front takes a lot of floor space. Ok if you have large area. REALLY PLEASED with them.
Great solution to an uneven garde
A small part of my garden is on a slope, but I really wanted to put a planter against that part of the fence. I like DIY, but I don’t have the skills or tools to make something from scratch. These were a great solution. I was able to cut the legs down to the correct size so that they stood up straight against the fence. And as a bonus, they practically cover up the gap at the bottom of the fence. I pretty much cut down the legs completely at the back, and kept them fairly long at the front.
Really easy to put together – literally just a handful of screws to fix as the rest all slots together brilliantly. Arrived within 3 days of purchasing (actually purchased online over a bank holiday weekend). Very good value and really excellent quality.
Growing veg is so much easier without having to bend over!
Good height and very user friendly. Will definitely buy more in the future
Easy to assemble
Very easy to assemble. One reviewer said they had real problems, even with a hammer? They joints are dove tailed and I didn’t use a hammer. I used yacht varnish to seal it. One of the small cover pieces was broken but an easy fix.
Basic pine structures that are easy to fit together.
Both are free standing so can be place in seperate places instead of in the position pictured by the supplier.
There are a few things that need improving.
The caps on the top come off easily so I had to glue them down with wood glue
The longer sides are loose in the slots even with the supplied dowels, so really need pinning together like the sides with wood and a few screws
A wooden baton support under the table would improve strength in the base and would stop it bowing.
The table does need waterproofing with yacht varnish to protect it from the elements
April 2022.
These planters have withstood the weather since I got them a year ago with the improvements that I advised, so I’ve bought another se
Does the job well
I have several of these and have painted them various different colours. In this combination there is not a liner included like there is in the single planters. However I knew this from reading previous reviews and had my own liner to use.
Beautiful planters that were easy to put together and look great have easily grown a huge range of fruit and veg for us this season and our quail love using the underneath for shelter. Highly recommend
Im11 and helped my grandad build this, actually I built it. He says the quality is excellent and I found it pretty easy to assemble. It looks good when finished but it is actually two planters stood side by side. The post caps need cutting to allow the planters to be flush next to each other. But grandad is very happy.
We lined it with polythene with a few drainage holes in, grew herbs and osteospermum and they all did really well.
