Does the job but misleading
Originally bought because I have the Renpho scales & it syncs with Google Fit but this doesn’t send and data to goggle fit. Connection is hit and miss some times it syncs with the app over times it doesn’t, the readings seem to be pretty close to what I see at the GPs
I like the way it will automatically sync with app
I had a blood pressure meter before but that required me to enter the readings manually on my phone. This one is made by the manufacturers of our scales which are great and works really well. In fact it has given me a regular idea of what my blood pressure is over weekly periods
I already had a BP monitor but it does not have any online capabilities so I decided to get this as well.
I went for the Renpho machine for two reasons:
Firstly, I already have Renpho Bluetooth bathroom scales with the associated App
Secondly, the Renpho Health App integrates seamlessly with my Apple setup, so I don’t have to enter anything into a database, it just does it all automatically, plus it’s really easy to read the data sets.
Display is nice and bright.
The cuff is a bit stiff but that’s probably because it’s new, and should loosen up with use.
The unit itself is smaller than I expected, less than half the size of my old Omron unit, but it’s powerful enough to pump up the cuff, and so far the readings have been pretty much the same as the old unit, so it seems to be accurate.
Batteries are supplied, plus there’s a USB lead if you want to run off mains or an adapter.
Blood pressure recorded easily
We bought this as our previous more expensive product game up.
My wife has to take her pressure regularly due to her recent transplant. This is great product as it records all measurements.
Well worth the money.
Great price for a blood pressure monitor that you can sync to your iPhone
Once set up on the app on the iPhone this small handy blood pressure monitor is a doddle to use. It also comes in a smart case for storage.
The one slight negative would that the can’t read the digital display face on but angle it slightly and it’s absolutely fine.
Great price from Amazon too.
It just works
Having been told by my GP to monitor my blood pressure I purchased this and along with my iPhone I’ve been able to keep track of my pressure and feed this back to my docto
Excellent, cheap, correlates with much more expensive BP monito
Logs data onto phone so easy to view trends on graph. Really easy to use, simple to fix cuff, unlike my much more expensive Omron monitor. 10/10. Worth checking out their other kit too.
I’m writing this review from a bed on a cardiology ward and that’s in no small part down to this meter. It detected problems and I was taken by ambulance to hospital, where I am being monitored and medications changed. Out tomorrow hopefully.
This is Bluetooth connected to my iPhone but if it doesn’t have a connection it logs to itself and uploads to your phone later.
The app analysis of BP is basic but accurate and will log the data into Apple Health, this automation of data collection is ideal.
It is powered by 4 aaa batteries and can be powered from a micro usb
It has 2 users making it easy to share with your partner.
To be frank without this monitor I would have been unaware that I needed medical intervention so very satisfied with my purchase. With the logging to its app and Apple health and the detection of irregular rhythm this has key features at a reasonable cost.
With these kind of devices automatically logging to Apple health is ideal, manual entry is a pain and you are likely not to record the data , which can help your dr figure out the best plan for you.
Well worth buying at a reasonable price point and easy to use on your own.
No need to write it down anymore
When you ned to monitor your blood pressure and keep a record of it, this is the blood pressure monitor you need. Just open the app on your phone and it will connect and download the results which are then displayed in a graph. on your phone.
This product was not my original choice. However due to a screw up by Delivery drive not delivering to my address. I had to place a second order but they were out of stock a new order was placed. But when this unit did arrive it appears to have been a better choice. Very easy to use large size tex, despite minor glitches with Bluetooth connectivity, item came with a Large Cuff included the product is working well. I was left impressed by the demonstration of collated information for the week and colour coded too, and it’s presentation. It also highlights irregularities of the heart when detected. Shame ECG was not include.
Thank you.
Blood pressure monito
Looks nice in the zip up pouch. And put away. Had difficulty using at first. The trick is the cuff must be loose on arm 2or 3cm
As it’s very tight on arm had to stop it a few times as it hurt. Accuracy not sure.
I bought this monitor as I wanted a Bluetooth one to connect with my phone. Whenever I buy a new blood pressure monitor I check it against my old Omron which was very expensive and the doctor recommended but I know it’s very accurate. Unfortunately this monitor consistently was about 10 points higher or thereabouts. I bought a cheap A&D one some years ago as it took the pressure quickly and this was always within two or three points of the Omron monitor. However this new Renpho model unfortunately was consistently higher. It’s a big shame because I really like the blood pressure monitor it is easy to use has a very clear and easy to read display took seconds to set up with the phone and Bluetooth worked perfectly. So a shame but sadly I won’t be keeping it because for me the most important function of a blood pressure monitor is to be as accurate as possible and my other two are so close to each other with readings but this one is quite a bit higher which means unfortunately I don’t trust it. One of a small point I wasn’t able to get the App to connect to Apple health which means the readings won’t be stored in other apps. I currently have a free BP app which has lots of information stored, and links with Apple health which means I can easily send to my doctor and cardiologist. So sadly I’ll be stuck with my two old pressure monitors I was hoping to give one to charity or a friend!
