Convenient transfer of videos from phone to tv it’s just extremely slow, like 2gb takes about 10 minutes to transfer on any device I use…but works end of the day….
Having 256GB in something so small is game changing! I formatted it as an encrypted APFS drive so I can password protect it and it has been solid so far. My only complaint is it heats up very quickly to an unbearable temperature, which makes me question its longevity.
Very good and well made, just pay the extra from a reputable brand then the cheap oem versions on sale here
Used to copy miss photos over so they can be backed up, happy to recommend
Took all the photos of my phone to stop Google insisting I pay them money each month. Backed then up to this little bit and very happy with the rear of doing so. Android phone to this drive worked perfectly them from this gadget to my lap top worked with out faulty too!
This is a REALLY SMALL device and does exactly what it is supposed to and has both USB abd USB-C ends. The only draw-back is that it runs very hot if left connected to a port but this doesn’t seem to affect its performance.
Does what it says, well pleased. Didn’t realise it was that small, but that’s actually good. Now just to find a very small plastic box, to fit it in for safety. Reason, it will take 5 different series with all episodes, ie POI, GOT, Discovery, etc, and all otg. Happy!
Very flexible with the business at both ends. Holds a substantial amount of files, which means it is very easy to save and move across to tablets, as mine don’t have USB ports. Probably just as well as the last one that did have one, I wrecked it when I got a plastic USB stick stuck.
The product works very well between the alternate USB points and the software on Android gave a quick win in tidying up my phone.
But ut is pretty small and there is no way that I can see to attach it to a keyring or the like. How long before I lose it?
faster than my old usb drive. this one is doing 410mb read and 190mb write. almost double the speed of my old san disk usb drive. this is so small so would be easy to lose. attach it to something. it’s plastic and easily flexes on the USB-A port but should be fine. might buy another one! i’ve tried many other USB drives but San Disk is always reliable. highly recommended.
In general, I am very pleased with my purchase but it seems quite ridiculous that it comes formatted to FAT32. For such a capacity, this is ridiculous. I copied nearly 200GB to it before checking the format. I am currently copying the entire content, including the software it came with, back to my C: drive, before reformatting to exFAT and moving everything back.
Bought from Amazon Market Place so arrived without any original packaging and no instructions. Could get it working on my Samsung tablet, but the drive couldn’t be “seen” by my iPhone 15 Pro Max. After reformating the drive to FAT32 on my windows computer it now works perfectly on my iPhone. It’s great to have a device that works across all my tech stuff, Android tablet, window computer, iPhone 15 Pro Max (USB) and smart TV and is reasonably quick when downloading video, music and photos to play across multiple devices, recommended!
Good value flash drive that has both the USB A and USB C options. One thing to note though is that the strength of the lock when it slid out isn’t great. Sometimes when I’ve gone to push into a stiff USB slot, it has gone back in (don’t you hate it when that happens). Solution is to hold the slider when pushing it in – not a deal breaker but slightly annoying. Aside from that it’s great!
I bought this product assuming it would fit both my tablet and my phone as well as having a conventional USB on the other end. It would greatly save time downloading photos from my phone to my PC/laptop. Alas the product fits neither my phone nor my tablet. My wife had once bought an adapter which does fit those devices and has a conventional USB Type-A port into which I can fit the product, but it’s clumsy and has little benefit over my previous method of transfer of files.
On a positive side it is SanDisk and thus very reliable and has a large capacity in a small package. Furthermore it is very good value for money.
