This card reader ordered for a specific purpose, to read micro memory cards from my CCTV camera’s.
My camera’s record to memory card and not an NVR as they are wireless, whilst I can see and hear these camera,s from my phone apps they record to cloud, this fine if one wishes to record every minute of everyday and pay for cloud storage however I only wish to review and keep a particular security event hence the memory card.

Unfortunately the memory card fitted internally to the camera, and they are fitted at height so hopefully events few and far between, however this card reader will allow me to read the card whilst next to the camera, record the event to phone and replace the memory card in the camera for continued recording.

As I have both a lightning iphone and a Android USB “C” phone this card reader ideal especially if storage space limited on the day, the card reader small 40x40mm and very light with a USB “C” and a lightning connection lead both 100mm long, being so light and small easy to attach to the phone by just the connection and use without the reader requiring additional support.
In use both iphone and Android connect instantly to view the memory cards SD and TF, just grab the file required and it transfers to phone very quickly.

I like the versatility of this card reader, the ease of use without any set-up, the fast transfer and the lightweight small body just pops into the pocket for transport, it is ideal for my intended use.
