There are loads of different lighting modes available, something for all the family. Not all of them are useful for photography or video work, but still fun and possibly useful for other applications.
Maximum brightness is very good and there’s a choice of three colour temperatures. Cycling between the different modes is easy.
Battery life is quite good. There are a variety of mounting options in the box and the self-adhesive option uses proper 3M VHB tape for a good grip.
Good value for money.
This selfie light has really enhanced my working from home set up! My desk is in a very dark part of my house and I’ve struggled with background light when I take video calls on my laptop, so thought this selfie light would help as it is less invasive than a large ring light. It’s worked so well! I attached it to the top of my laptop screen and because it’s portable I just remove it after calls.
I’ve not used it with a phone but I’m sure it would work well. It really helps with picture quality on my laptop, and would definitely recommend for people who need better lighting when working from home.
This fill light comes with a USB-C charge lead. The light takes a few hours to charge and when switched on (with a long press on the top button), can be alternated through a long sequence of different light modes, by quick presses on the top button through three white lights and a variety first of coloured lights, then flashing light backgrounds in different colours.
On the brightest setting, the light is extremely bright and provides a lot of light from the 78 LED Lights, the light generates 7 Watts and up to 6,000K but there the intensity of the light can be adjusted by the small + and — buttons on the side.
This provides quite a versatile light that can be used in many settings. There are also 3 different attachments that fit onto the bottom, one is a small clamp, one has a standard fit for a tripod and one can be attached with a sticky pad (for example to a monitor). Spare pads are also enclosed.
The unit itself is quite compact being just over 4 inches by just over 2 inches (11cm by 5.5cm). It’s a good price and is very useful and would also make a great gift.
Im a photographer and I use flash for low light but sometimes thats just far too overpowering! I needed something to cast a soft light onto the model/couple to either lift shadows or add a bit more warmth or colour to a scene.
This Selfie Light is ideal! With loads of light options and brightness controls I have just the tool to reach for when things get a bit dark.
The size is brilliant too, making it easy to throw it into my photography bag and not use up much of my very limited space in there! Charging is really easy and its as simple as plugging it in the night before a shoot.
I cant see myself using many of the colour options but its great to have that feature in case the moment arises. Very happy with this little light!
This light comes supplied with 3 different mounts, USB-A to USB-C charging cable, double-sided sticky pads and instructions.
Thhe button on the top controls both the on/off function and the lighting mode. The two side button the n control the brightness.
The 3 mounts supplied give you plenty of mounting options, making this light quite versatile. Although you can tilt the light, there isn’t any rotational movement on the mounts. The clip-on mount could do with being better, since is didn’t feel that se ure in my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Although it didn’t come on when holding the phone, it did occasionally come off when lying the phone down.
The light is pretty bright for its compact size. With the white light you have three differed options from warm to bright. There’s also a limited array of static and colour changing options.
Having only just received this, I’m not in a position to comment on the medium to long-term reliability.
Overall, I personally think this is a decent light for 15.99, but the level of control and colour options are limited.

Smashing little light unit, more veratile than I was expecting.
My immediate use for this is as a fill-in light mounted on a tablet. With the spring-clip attached, it holds firm and slip-free without putting too much strain on the screen (and fitted screen protector).
There’s plenty of light output for most needs (certainly for mine), and this output can be adjusted steplessly up or down. Colour temperatures of cold, nuetral and warm can be selected, together with a number of other features (which I’ll have less use for basically).
Also in the kit are a couple of other adaptors… one for sticky-mounting, and the other with a standard 1/4″ thread for tripods/extension arms etc. the latter will particularly useful to me.
It’s a great little lamp for the price, and one of those addons that do a job efficiently without getting in the way.
On a quality/value-for-money basis… 5-Stars.
Don’t think of this as a selfie light — it’s far more versatile; think of it as a photographic light. It comes with several adapter for mounting it on various devices — DSLRs, camcorders, phones, tablets, etc. If it has a mounting shoe, then you can use the light on it.
It’s small and chunky, like a small chocolate snack bar, so it’s just the right size to slip into any camera bag or your pocket without adding undue bulk.
Press the power button, the light turns on to the brightest and whitest light; keep pressing to cycle through the different modes and colours: Cold white Natural white Warm white Red [COLOURS] [FLASHING] [PULSING] [FADING]
Each colour can be brightened or darkened by using the + and – buttons. A long-press of the power button will turn the unit off.
There’s a USB-C charging port, too, and a cable is provided in the box.
I very much like this light; having a well illuminated subjects makes photos look so much better. I would definitely recommend this selfie light.
This selfie LED light is a brilliant idea. Of a nice size with a quality LED panel, it comes with various brackets to adapt to a broad range of devices.
The lighting panel not only has both warm white and cool white settings, but also Red Blue, and Green as well! The brightness and hue of all these can all be adjusted. Charging is through the USB-C port and the 3000mah rechargable battery gives a good runtime making this a great choice for content creators etc.
