a good buy
Fit for purpose. As usual with American sockets it is easily knocked out of the wall but that’s down to the rubbish American 2 pin. It’ll happen with any adapter. But it was otherwise functional
One catch
These are great adaptors to use when travelling – one point to note there are two models – this one is cheaper and does not have USB C1/C2 ports just the older USB A.1/A2.
Perfect for travel
I bought this for my brother from Asia while visiting the UK for his laptop. Perfect fit, and compact for both input and output. Well suited for me when I travelled back to the tropicals.
Really good adapter for traveling but doesn't work for 2pin shavers
I assumed this would work in the UK for two pin adapters for shavers and electric toothbrushes but unfortunately not. However it has been absolutely fantastic for our holiday to Spain and reduced the amount of plugs and adaptors we need to take. I especially like the fact that the pins retract making it even easier to travel with. Great quality too!
Almost a 5 Sta
We arrived in London from the US and our adapter stopped working so this adapter was perfect! The only thing that would make it better is if it had the ability to insert normal plug ends into it not just USB.
Home and away
Plugged bedside for the extra USB’s to charge watch and phone. As well as bedside lamp.
It comes abroad incase the hotel doesn’t have enough power points. Sometimes with a cheeky 4-way. The number of times someone forgets their EU adaptor is incredible.
Fantastic for travelling
I have now used this little plug in both The Netherlands and Japan and it’s done its job in both countries.
Enough ports and such to have multiple devices charging/plugged-in at once, without being overly bulky.
The only negative, is that for the EU and US style wall outlets, which lack an earth/grounding pin, this plug/adapter can come out of the wall quite easily with the slightest tug on any of the cables plugged in. Sometimes I find it better to plug this in upside down, so the weight of it isn’t pulling on the outlet. This obviously isn’t an issue if plugged into a floor socket or extension cord however.
Needed specifically for Mexico but it does SO much more!
Such a versatile and great value adapter – bought specifically for a trip to Mexico but actually looks like a fully international adapter the any UK user should buy for wherever in the world they might be travelling to!
Robust, reliable and a neat, compact unit – it will be with me wherever in the world I go next!
A travel must have
This is compact, of good quality and has all the charging adaptions needed for travelling the world. I used to buy so many separate adapters but this has everything all in one. That way you won’t need to worry if you have the right adapter or not, this one has it all. Would highly recommend if you’re a frequent traveller.
I got this for a trip in South America and it was excellent. The design is sturdy and although it is fairly heavy it doesnt take up too much space in your bag.
The variety of adapters included is great if you are visiting places that have varied outlet requirements. A big positive is the 2-prong adapter sticks far enough out to reach into outlets that have a depression in them. Other adapters I have had dont reach in far enough so it can be quite annoying. All the adapters have a nice slide to them and didnt get stuck or jammed once.
It doesnt get too hot either and the 4 USB ports mean that lots can be charged at once. I managed to charge an electric shaver, 2 phones and a powerbank at the same time, perfect for when a hotel only has limited outlets available.
Very good price and excellent performance, I highly recommend.
Good for travel but heavy
It’s a very good adaptor, very sturdy and can be used in many different countries which is a bonus for someone that travels very frequently.
But inserting a plug within the adaptor is hefty … It felt as if the plug never went inside the adaptor. And generally, it’s just big to carry too.
