The pack also includes a display stand for your card packs and a poster to create your dream team.
Other packs in the series do need to be collected separately, if you want them all.

With Euro 2024 currently gripping the Nation, this is the perfect time to get this Top Trumps World Football Stars 200 Starter Kit. Plus, as I write this, England are still in the tournament (though that may change by the time this review is approved !)

Everything arrives in a brightly coloured gift box, making this an ideal gift for a youngster.
OPINION&CONCLUSION
I think this is a great starter kit, which is not only educational, but also encourages a youngster to begin collecting.
It also includes female players, which as a fan of women’s football, I was pleased to see, and also makes this now more appealing to young girls as well as boys.
The downside is that with this being a starter pack, extra packs of cards will need to be purchased separately, as packs 2 to 6 are not included. The team sheet is a nice idea as you can choose your own dream team.
For us “oldies” it is nice to see the Legends pack as it gives us something to talk to the youngsters about !
In conclusion, I think this is a great starter set, and may well encourage youngsters to save their pocket money and buy the extra packs rather than using it on sweets !

All in all I think this is a great set for any footie fan !
If you have a youngster that is into Collectibles then this is certainly a really valid option as the top trumps series only requires six full packs plus the legend series which is included in the starter kit. Realistically this means you need to purchase a favour additional boxes that are around half the price of this. it also includes the display stand to keep them in if your child is into Collectibles and displaying they will be very pleased.
The kit comprises of 1 main pack of 34 cards which includes male and female football players with some managers as well.
Additionally with the main pack is a booster pack that has 18 Football Legends in it.
There is also a collectors display box and Team sheet.
All the cards are well made with clear pictures and information on just as Top Trumps has been previously over the years since I started playing with them back in the 70s.
The starter kit gives you incentive to start collecting the packs available in this series especially if you are a football fan.
Overall I do find this pack is probably priced quite high for what it is although if you are into Top Trumps plus a football fan this is a no brainer as the quality of the whole pack is very good and is then worth getting.
My older son already has a load of these Top Trumps packs (perfect stocking fillers at Christmas) and always enjoys playing it with friends and family. It’s a classic game with a familiar format, featuring big names like Messi and Mane now with some additional metrics around the player stats. This pack mixes in some woman footballers which I cant say my son was too impressed with – i think a separate pack might have been better. Although a decent starter kit, I cant say the extras really warrant the additional cost. In my opinion your better just buying the packs separately unless you really want the exclusive pack that comes with this set. Overall, my son was still happy, though he is generally happy with anything football related.
I know NOTHING about football, but have family who love it, and Top Trumps is always a good thing no matter the age. So this one is a football themed set of Top Trumps and it has quite a lot in it. Firstly you get two sets of cards, one is a big set, the other is a bonus set. As always the cards are full of info, and are well made and will get loads of use. Randomly you get a tray to store all your cards in and a poster to make up a dream team. It is absolutely brilliant and I really think there are people out there who will absolutely love it, so fill your football boots! (ha, I’m funny)
