Works For Me.
These I find very handy to have around, especially when travelling. I have a predominately USB C to C lead collection for my devices which is OK if I am at home, but when travelling most of the USB sockets I encounter are USB A and even my travel plug has a majority of A sockets with only 1 C so I always have to hunt around and find some USB A to C leads and pack them as well. With these I can just take my C leads and these adapters which is great.
They are of good construction which you would expect from a company like UGREEN and they work as stated, nothing more to say really, they have cut my clutter so 5 Stars from me.
Simple set of adaptors from a brand you can trust.
If you need to convert USB-C to USB-A it’s handy to have a set of adapters like these to hand. From U Green there is 3 in total in this pack.
The adapters seem well made with good quality connections. I connect it upto my PC with a USB-C cable and low and behold it works exactly as expected.
A useful set to have.
Handy pack of USB-A to USB-C adapters, no issues with transfers to a thunderbolt/USB-C NVMe drive.
No complaints with these, they arrived in a nice looking UGREEN branded plastic pouch with a resealable top, and they immediately worked great with a number of different USB-C cables and devices for both data and power. The max power transfer is going to be significantly lower through this due to the limitation of USB-A, but the rated 18 watts is generally enough as long as you’re not after a full charge in an hour. Transfer speeds are as advertised, and I’ve been getting essentially the same speeds through this adapter as a USB-A 3.0 to USB-C cable using the same device and USB port.
UGREEN is amongst my favourites for any consumer electronic items like cables, chargers and adapters and getting three of these adapters for 6.39 at the moment is a bargain. Happy to recommend.
Useful adapters
These are good quality USB A to C adapters and are a good way to save a bit of space in your bag if you need to visit sites and plug in an external drive that has a USB Type C cable but the computer you are using has only USB A ports. Most of the sites I visit are very slow to upgrade so this is a common thing. With this adapter (I only need one but you get three) I don’t need to bring an extra cable along.
Build quality is typical of Ugreen products, which in my experience is pretty much excellent for the price point.
Around 7 quid for three is a decent price – but I do only need one so it would be cool to have an option to buy them in singular. That said, at least I have spares if I should lose one.
Works great to convert USB-A to USB-C.
I got this 10Gbps USB-A to USB-C so that I could connect some of my USB-C devices to my PC.
This product allowed me to connect my Phone (Samsung Galaxy S9+) to my PC.
It also allowed me to connect USB devices that come with a USB-C connector.
Was also able to use it with a Ethernet Adapter that came with a USB-C Connector.
I gave this an overall rating of 5 stars due to them being a very good bargain at that low price plus for a pack of 3, plus its always good to have some spare in your draw.
Would I recommend this product. Yes I would.

Really happy to have these in my IT box, as some of the more modern devices of today use USB-C, and I’m a little behind on the traditional USB-A. Handles chargers effortlessly, and almost anything you throw at them.

Work well in almost all circumstances...
I have had a few UGREEN products now that have worked first time, every time.
These three adaptors are to turn USB A ports into USB C ports, the main gain (for me) being the sheer convenience of being able to plug the lead in no matter what the orientation.
I have had slightly mixed (and surprising) results using these adapters.
I have a powered 10 port hub that is unfortunately USB A. These days most of the products I receive are USB C.
My main use is in providing power to various rechargeable devices and the odd bit of data transfer via a microSD card reader.
When using these Acer adaptors they work in every possible scenario (that I have tried) other than with my Samsung Galaxy S24.
I can charge portable vacuums, a drone rechargeable battery hub, run desk fans, whatever, using these adaptors. Via the USB C card reader I can transfer data using these adaptors. I cannot get these adaptors to fail!
However, my phone resolutely refuses to work with these adaptors. No matter how I try, my phone reports a ‘USB not recognised’ error when connected via adaptor and USB C. Take away the adaptor and use a USB A to USB C cable and things are just fine.
So, in my experience these work just fine in almost all circumstances, just not with my USB A powered hub and a Galaxy S24.

A very handy set of USB adapters...
This set of 3 USB-A to USB-C adapters are a bargain at just 6.80 at the time of writing this review and after the discount voucher has been applied. So at a little over 2.20 a piece I wasn’t expecting a super-premium / top-end product, but even so I was still pleasantly surprised with how good they actually are in terms of performance and build quality.
Sure, if you want to have a product that offers the fastest possible data transfer speeds and mega-fast Power Delivery, then there are probably better suited products out there but be prepared to pay big bucks for them. However if you’re wanting a connectivity options that you can keep in your laptop bag for those times when you need to use a USB-C cable in a USB-A port, then these are absolutely perfect for those occasions and perform flawlessly. The included dust caps are also handy to have if they’re bumping around in the bottom of a bag, although some rubber plugs for the USB-C side would have also been good to have too.
Even despite the small price tag, these adapters still support 10Gbps data transfer speeds as well as fast charging which is very impressive. I haven’t experienced any issues at all using these adapters so they’re easy to recommend and incredibly handy to have on hand.

The ‘UGREEN 10Gbps USB to USB C Adapter 3Pack (Black)’ arrived in a branded resealable bag with User Instructions.
The user instructions are not actually instructions; they cover compliance statements and Warranty, no operating instructions.
I connected one of the adaptors to the USB A 3.2 Gen 2 port on the back of my Rog Strix B550-F motherboard, and then into that I connected my USB C cable that is usually connected to the adjacent USB C 3.2 Gen 2 port. I then connected the other end of the cable to an external NVME case containing a 1TB Crucial P3 Plus.
I then used CrystalDiskMark 8 to perform and record the results of tests.
On my first test I aborted the test after just the first result as it was far from expected. I then inverted the cable connector to the NVME and repeated the test, this time the results were within the expected range for the test device.
It would seem that connector orientation can be a factor in achieving best speed.
The other two adaptors were tested and exhibited similar results.
