Great low cost solution for a rear facing camera to aid with reversing.
Installed into my 2004 Audi A3 3.2 Quattro.
Drilled a hole into the door handle to connect the camera.
Then routed the wiring through the corrugated rubber grommet into the cabin and then tucked under interior body panels too the back of the head unit.
Sorted.
Excellent cost effective camera for generic Android head units!
My wife has an ’07 Audi TT and we decided to upgrade the heading on the cheap, using a generic Chinese android unit. The reversing camera that arrived with it was appalling so I purchased this item in the hope it looked better when fitted and performed better.
First of all, the installation is so discrete when mounted alongside the number plate lights and only required a small (8mm?) hole drilling to guide the wiring connector through. Then, much to my surprise, once connected to the head unit it required no additional power feed (win win!).
The picture quality itself is absolutely adequate and much better than the item supplied with the head unit. For circa 20 on a 17 year old car – o really can’t fault it!
Nice Camera
Nice simple install needed for this camera, bought another previously but it was poor quality so decided to purchase this one and its much better. Image is clear and with the option to choice different settings to suit the dash using was ideal.

Good camera
Good camera for the price, bit of a faff fitting it to my mk5 Astra however that may not be the case for all, might need to take the rear bumper off so bear that in mind.
Secure mount, good quality, great cable length

Components all seem of a decent quality, extremely tedious install but that’s down to me. Would also advise causation if buying for a van, I have fitted this to a swb t5 and the cables are annoyingly short. I’ve taken the shortest possible routing and still ended up buying a male to female 1m extension for the stereo end of the setup.
Great but can be tedious
Is a great product, well built but can be tedious with connections. Be aware it is more of a fisheye look from the camera view too when using. Not bad for the price and works as intended once set up.
Great quality camera, good quality and adjustable
I was impressed when I opened the box that the camera feels really solid, the housing is made from aluminium and feels really quality. The mounting system with a single 8mm hole required is also very appreciated, my previous camera would have required a 13mm hole to fit the RCA plug through.
This one, using a low profile 4 pole connector only needs an 8mm hole to mount, and then adjustment is easy using the screw on the side.
The camera supports various resolutions and I was glad my head unit supports 1080p 25fps so I was able to use the highest resolution, it looks great. The cable is plenty long enough, it fits my defender 110 with cable to spare.
This was on offer for 18 and for that I think it’s incredible value for money, the quality of the picture and the thoughtful connections make it easier to fit than other cameras I’ve tried, with a better picture as well.
Only things that could be improved in my opinion:
– a connector for the power feed would be nice, I had bullet connectors on hand so used them.
– a multi position switch for the different video modes to help with troubleshooting exactly what mode you happen to have the camera in (or have the current video settings briefly displayed on screen when selecting?)
Check your monitor compatibility
This reversing camera provides a clear image day and night, making reversing maneuvers much easier. The adjustable angle is great for customising the view based on your vehicle. It’s compatible with most RCA monitors, but double-check your system before buying. Be aware that’s it not designed for dash cams. Installation was straightforward, and I’m happy with the results.
Great quality camera
This reversing camera is easy to install and works well. The picture is clear and the camera feels well made, sturdy and durable. It is easy to angle to the right position and has made reverse parking a lot easier.
Fiddly to set up but a good picture
I’ve never been a fan of reversing cameras because I’ve been driving for many years without one and feel the “fishbowl” appearance they give of the view behind isn’t true to life and more of a hindrance than a help, however, I realise I’m probably in the minority as many people swear by them.
Being as my son is learning to drive and wanted a camera to help with gauging parking whilst he’s learning, I thought this might be really good for him.
This camera is actually very good. It has a decent resolution and gives a clear picture both in the day and night.
The camera itself can be rotated by 360 and can be fitted to the front or rear. It runs off 12/24 V, and it’s wired into your car’s screen.
It says the camera is compatible with 95% of car console screens out there and it does indeed work on my son’s car (VW Golf).
The wiring is a bit complicated (at least we found it to be) and it took a lot of fiddling to get it right. Setting up was also fiddly because although the camera is 360 rotatable, that is from the outside so you have no control to move it from within the car, therefore it’s a case of trial and error and plenty of to-ing and fro-ing, screwing and unscrewing (a screwdriver is provided) before you get it at the right angle to best see where you need. Once that’s done though, it’s pretty good.
It’s waterproof, dust proof and shock proof, but it hasn’t been in place long enough to gauge how any of that fares.
I think for the price (29.99 at time of order) it’s a decent buy if you want one of these cameras. As said, fiddly to set up but the picture quality is good.

I recently installed the Reversing Camera AHD 1080P/720P/CVBS/PAL 360 as a replacement rear camera in my Nissan Leaf, and I have to say that I am extremely pleased with the results. The camera was very easy to fit and the high quality picture it provides is far better than my original camera.
The camera has a very wide view and is super accurate when parking, making it a breeze to back up into even the tightest of spaces. I was particularly impressed with how clear the image quality was, even in low light conditions.
The instructions provided were very clear and the labeling of the wires made installation a breeze. While I did not need the wiring that comes with it, anyone fitting it to their in-car media display should have no problems due to the clear instructions and labeling of the wires.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Reversing Camera AHD 1080P/720P/CVBS/PAL 360 to anyone looking for a high-quality replacement rear camera for their car. The camera is easy to install, provides excellent image quality, and offers a wide view and accurate parking assistance.
Nice camera, very smart and OEM like
The camera housing itself is nice looking, and the quality is also very good. This looks more like an OEM camera as opposed to one of the cheap ones that normally available are used.
I temporarily plugged it into the head unit just to see the quality, and it is very clear.
Unfortunately haven’t got a photo of it installed yet, as it will take me a little while to do this as I’ve got a wait for a free afternoon.

I have just installed this on my Volkswagen Amarok with an aftermarket android head unit.
My partner mostly drives our truck and constantly complains that she wants a camera!
She is now very happy and so am I. Installation was easy enough this is a big truck and I had plenty of cable spare so this so long enough for any car for sure.
After a few setting changes on the stereo I got this working perfectly. I changed the video to NTSC instead of PAL to make it work.
The video is nice and clear you are able to tilt and rotate the camera making it very easy to fine to exactly how it needs to be.
At 29.99 with a 10 off voucher currently this is amazing value.
Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone after a reversing camera.
