Reviews and 5 star ratings speak for themselves
This is the perfect build for beginners or those looking for easy cable management. Amazon reviews speak for themselves, it’s insane how many people bought this exact case, kudos to corsair for this one.

    Brilliant case
Used for my first build and was my 2nd choice. but very good overall case. The glass on the front is a bit dark so makes it hard to see internals that don’t have any lights but still just a great case.

    Grate for ventilatio
Performance of the case is good plenty of ventilation, as far as screwing components in as a first time pc builder found there was plenty of space, the weight is just right wouldn’t be easy to knock over highly recommend

    Excellent all-round
Bought this for a recent build project – it’s fantastic.

The top panel has lots of ventilation and room for multiple fans, as does the back. You could even put one over the PSU. And three on the front. Or mount an AIO or radiator on the side. There’s PLENTY of room to do decent cable management and fit all those fan RGB cables, and an RGB controller. And multple SSDs and HDDs in the dedicated bays, which come with easy-screws.

Every aspect of this case is finished to a high standard, from the machining, to the blasting and painting. Every hole is pristine, every surface is smooth. And, because you’ll want to see inside, the tempered glass is very solid. Both panels pop off easily, so you don’t need screwdrivers if you need to hot-swap or have a look inside, or do whatever you’re doing. I may be biased, but it’s also GREAT as a single-chamber. Nothing to worry about, but PLENTY of room with the access slot for PCIe/Mobo/SATA cables. It’ll fit a full ATX with a chunky 7900XTX and still have room for a little bobble-head.

    Minor criticisms:

Plastic feet and front panel trim could be a slightly higher quality or better finish, and they don’t seem to match the case 100%. Might be worth removing and painting, if you’re that bothered.

The rear slot covers slide into a groove and are secured on one side with a screw. This can cause resonant vibration at certain frequencies. For someone like me with hyperacusis, it is HORRENDOUS. Easily solved with a tiny bit of adhesive putty.

    Overall:

Excellent value for money, great build quality, and even looks like it might withstand some customising and machining.

    A decent value case...
I upgraded the processor in my PC and the new device was running hotter than I liked on the stock cooler. The old case was quite old and too small to take a modern cooling solution, so I decided to do a complete rebuild. I didn’t want some silly looking gaming case that lights up like a Christmas tree – this is a serious work PC. The Corsair 4000D Airflow seemed to fit the bill and at less than 90.

I was pleasantly surprised – it is easy to work on, has plenty of space for a reasonably high performance cooler, and it looks quite tasteful. I would not have chosen a glass side panel, but it is smoked glass and provided the fans are not all illuminated, you are not really aware of it.

Cable routing is quite easy. My only criticism is that the positioning of the power supply can make cables a bit of a tight fit. I’ve installed a Corsair PSU which should have been a good match, but I’ve still had to install extensions on the SATA power cables in order to route to the recommended SSD bay locations.

I’ve seen it criticised as being a bit boring. I guess that it is for a hard-core teenage games PC builder, but for an old fogey like me building a serious work or hobby PC, it is pretty close to perfect.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersCool...a real breath of fresh ai
After years of my computer getting hot under the collar and sweating in its little black box, gasping for air like a fish out of water, I finally decided to give it a taste of the good life with the Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW. And let me tell you, it’s like my PC just ran through a glacier and took its first deep breath of antartic air.

The case is so roomy, I’m pretty sure my GPU just threw a housewarming party and invited all the other components. The cable management? Amazing, gone is the spaghetti mess of cables and in with a clean routed internet superhighway.

But the real MVP here is the airflow. I mean, I could probably dry my hair with the breeze coming out of this thing. My CPU temperatures dropped faster than my bank account during a Steam sale.

So, if you’re looking to give your computer a spa day every day, look no further. The Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW is the breath of fresh air your tech life needs. Just don’t blame me if your components start getting too cozy and refuse to work because they’re too relaxed.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPerfect for a nice looking well featured case.
Recently built my own PC (first build ever) and glad I chose this case. Looks smart and interesting with being boring or crazy, just that perfect balance. Fits a variety of motherboard types, 6 fans (3 front, 2 top and 1 rear) alongside AIO radiators if used.

This has good materials, mostly metal with a glass side panel, and only small amounts of plastic where needed. Some metal can be a little flimsy (particularly opposite side panel) but if it wasn’t it would just add to bulk and weight so it’s not an issue for me.

Plenty of handy features built in, such as cable guides and velcro tabs (be gentle with velcro tabs though, I pulled one too tight and it snapped, thankfully Corsair includes a few spares!); mounting points for zip ties; handy cable cut outs in well thought out places; 2.5″ SSD trays that can be mounted in various places (rear panel, front base, HDD trays); removable HDD holder (many reviews say these screws can be too tight but mine was OK, luck of the draw I guess!); thumb tabs for side panels and drive holders; easy to remove filter mesh on front/top/PSU panels.

The included non-RGB fans on the standard version are a waste to be honest, just 2 are fitted (1 front, 1 rear), and apparently extras of the same can’t be bought. Although I’m sure this would be fine for a basic low powered system, but if that’s your system you’d probably just buy a more basic case anyway. So like me most people would replace them with a different set (I added 6 QX120s), so it would make more sense if this case was just shipped fanless to start with.

Front IO is decent and simple with 1 USB-A, 1 USB-C and 1 headphone/mic socket. Some people may want extra USBs but most of my USB connections are on the motherboard’s rear IO anyway, I only use the front for rare occasional USB drives or devices. These sit at the front top of the unit alongside a power button (with power LED) and a reset button.

Was a bit unsure of the dark tempered glass at first, but once the build was complete and the RGB running it actually looks great and allows just the right amount of LED colour “pop”! When it’s turned off the dark interior (with just the subtle glow of the motherboard RGB logo shining through) looks smart (and a little mysterious!).

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersGreat case, just wish it came with more fans
Bought this case to build a budget PC out of older spare parts (GTX980ti, i7 7700k) and wanted a solid case with space to upgrade.

Assembly: I’m no PC building pro, last time I built one was 12 years ago. The build process following a guide from Linus Tech Tips was working without a hitch regarding the case (had a problem with the Motherboard which had nothing to do with the case). It’s got plenty of space for most Motherboards, my PSU installed easy and i like that i can tuck cables neatly behind the panel.

Filters and Fans: Case comes with two fans; one in on the front and one out on the back. Those are preinstalled, sound quiet and work well. They do not have RGB if you care about that. For my build that is enough but there is space for two more on the front, which are shown in the marketing material but not included. I know I could have read it more closely but I just assumed I get what’s in the picture. I think the filters are easy to remove and clean and i like the asthetic of the top filter a lot.

Quality: I think the quality of the metal, glass and other things like the power button is all good. Nothing to complain about.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersA Very Nice Mid Tower ATX Chassis Everything but a simple physical User Guide (Online PDF only)
In all areas considered The Corsair 4000D RGB is a Really Premium Choice!
To summarize, A really solid Product, with some very nice touches throughout the product and constructed by a well respected brand name in the PC Build space.
    Read the Full Spiel:-
I decided to pick a Corsair iCUE 4000D RGB Airflow Case to house my new AM5X670E build.
The Ryzen 9 7950X3D will be right at home inside this case.
This is a premium product both in-terms of look’s and actual feel incl. Build quality with some very nice touches throughout. For Example the Corsair 4000D Case has well though out internal cable management and a “Channel” around the rear backplate, to funnel your main cable bundle through..
    – This Case arrived well Packaged, it included x3 Corsair 120mm Elite RGB Fans, RGB Lighting & Fan controller.. Another example of a Premium “Feeling” product are the top Lid Power/Reset button which have a nice “soft-click” feel to it, not too “Clicky”, not too soft feeling when depressed but just the right Feel and sound, not forgetting the USB 3.2 Type C and Type A connectors..
    – The front face of the Case is removable, providing access to the front dust screen. This removable Front face panel is solid and NOT made of plastic or is flexible which is a good thing which adds to the overall premium feel of this Case. The mechanism to attach and detach this front face panel feels robust enough to keep working for the long terms not just a gimmicky thing but functional aspect of this cases design!
    – The protective wrap on the Glass pane is a excellent touch, especially helpful during the initial build stage where its easy to leave the odd hands print here and there, this protective wrap definitely eliminates most of this issue..
    – One of my favorite features of this case are the dust filters/Mesh, This Case combines Three filters in total: One large Top filter (Magnetized), One Large Clip Filter on Front (Filter/Fine Mesh) Screen and also a Small Filter on the underside or the Bottom by the PSU area.. As from past experience, without these dust filters PC Case’s do become quite dusty when all fans are spinning full tilt & sucking up into the case, With these dust filters it will be a huge difference from PC Cases without them.

    The only minor downsides:
The only downside is that there is not enough room to house a 360mm AIO or Rad/Cooler on the top.
A 360mm will fit in the front, if planning on doing a Push/Pull on 360mm you will only find clearance for 5 out of 6 fans (missing x1 fan on the lower part) Maybe there are some ultra slim fans which can be used for full 6 fan push/pull on a 360mm, I’m yet to look properly, another thought will be for GPU length so just be warned if planning on using a 360mm H20 Rad/Fans Setup..
    – What I would have really liked to have seen would have be some Physical Diagram/Illustration or simple user guide bundled inside the box, Yes, I know a PDF is available online, however a physical manual would have been super helpful but I can live without one though!

In all areas considered The Corsair 4000D RGB is a Really Premium Choice!
To summarize, A really solid Product, with some very nice touches throughout the product and constructed by a well respected brand name in the PC Build space.

    I’ll update this with Full Build Vid AM5 Ryzen 9 7950X3D/Asus X670E/NoGPUYet/Vengeance 2x16GB RGB DDR5@6000MHz/NVMe/SSDs/HDDs/Corsair HX1500i PSU/Corsair H150i RGB Elite 360mm and of course The Corsair 4000D RGB Case!
    Hope This helps!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersReally great case! Except one thing...
I would love to give this case a perfect 5 but I think the bit where you place your PSU is just a bit too cramped, especially if you’re using 3.5 HDDs too in the compartment next to it which makes accessing cables such a major pain and a jam. Especially if you’re using modular PSUs and need to put in more cables 🙁

The rest of the case is so well built and amazing for cable organising and so simple to use! Love the sleek design, hate the tacky gamer looking cases. Overall a very modular case for adding things like fans and easy to open up too for messing with parts without fuss.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersExcellent case! Fantastic air flow!
This is a ver good case for the money. Corsair are known for their quality products but they are not necessarily cheap however, this case is around 100 at full price and can be bought new for as little as 70 on occasion. I think that is an excellent buy. It has plenty of room inside, some of the best air flow you will find in a PC case and is of great build quality. The case comes with Corsair branded velcro straps to use for cable tidying and it has a full length open air front panel for optimum air flow. The case can also be bought with a tempered glass front panel and the airflow panel can be bought separately, which is what I wish I had do6if I’m being honest. I am very happy with this case and I have multiple Corsair products such as 6x AF 120 RGB fans, H100i Elite XT AIO, PSU and RAM as well as other products in the past. Definitely recommend this case, even at full price.
