This is a perfect solution for anyone still using a PS2 in 2024 (like myself) to take advantage of modern HD TVs and get away from using the low grade SCART socket.
Ok, this wont transform your PS2 output to genuine HD quality as the PS2 doesn’t output a HD signal to start with, but it certainly enhances the picture quality a good margin and you get the option to switch between 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios as well as switching between various HD resolutions.
The HDMI lead does require power from the included USB-C lead, but if your TV has a spare USB socket it makes it very simple and convenient.
This is a great lead. Easy to set up and use and perfect for bringing your aging PS2 console in to the modern age with enhanced graphics to boot.

This is a great cable to have if you have a ps1 and ps2.it send the signal from your console to HDMI. You need to make sure the USB power cable is plugged in for it to work. The quality is pretty good for an HDMI solution but don’t expect full 1080p graphics. Overall this is a must if you want to plug your playstation into a modern tv
