Great length and good spray options
After turning on the tap and watching the hose expand like a snake, the multiple spray options are really useful. Got the extra long length and it reaches everywhere I need it to. You do need to drain it for it to shrink back to size for easy storage.
It really does stretch to enormous length !
Watering my Garden plants, even reaching into my Greenhouse . Great bit of kit ? But ! It does actually have a leak in the hose about three metres from the end ? Not too serious it’s like a Pinprick ,but unable to locate under the outside sheathing !
and I have used it a few times now ,so would not be able to send back for a replacement ? Even if I did ,would a New one be leaking too ?
A good hosepipe, providing it doesn't degrade quickly
This seems to be a good hosepipe, although only time will tell if it lasts well. The hosepipe attached securely to an outside tap and the various brass attachments are well built. The relatively lightweight pipe itself expands impressively when the tap is opened. In all, good value for money, so far.
We needed a new house for the garden so we ordered this one.
It’s all comes in a surprisingly small box.
Inn at the box you get the hose comma some instructions various fittings for various different taps.
I got it connected to my outdoor tab in just a few minutes following the instructions.
I then attached the hose down that you get with it and made sure this was working by clicking through all the options for different water effects,you do this by just rotating the gun head.
I then turned to tap on and was amazed to see how much this hose grooves, at first I didn’t think it was very long but then I saw had it worked and I would say it is a good 100 feet.
The fittings are like an alloy type and are okay but seem a little bit brittle, I especially am not sure about some of the ways that the actual hose are built into the hose fittings. If you pull them quite hard to decide you can see that there is a lot of force that’s going on around the area so I’m really not sure how long this will last.
On one of the fittings there is a nice little stop tap which I thought was quite a nice touch.
The only thing I would say with this is be careful after you turn the water off because there is a lot of pressure left in the hose and if you take the hose off the tap then it just explodes everywhere, so my advice is to make sure that you use up the water that is left in the hose after you switch off the tap.
Overall I think this hose is very good at what it does I am just not sure how long it will last hence I will give this four stars.
