Exactly What I Needed
Not much more you could ask for. We’ll see how the materials hold-up long term, but this is the only replacement kit I was able to find. It’s an easy enough install, their YouTube videos are pretty handy for this kind of thing.
Thank you eXtremeRate for offering what Sony refuses to do. It’s a shame a controller as expensive as this needs it, but glad we have the option.
Here's the real scoop on this product. Most importantly, it fits and works perfectly. The replacement hardware also includes a magnetic screwdriver, a pry tool to help open the controller, plenty of screws, and two release lever springs. I already had an electronic repair kit with a pair of tweezers designed for electronic repair which are a MUST for handling the small components in the controller. You should also invest in a mat with magnetic slots. The entire process took about 40 minutes. The only slight challenge was setting the release lever spring. This is where having the right tweezers comes in. I recommend watching the video through a few times and getting used to handling the tiny spring with tweezers. BEWARE - you will have to stretch the spring to get it back into place. The spring is prone to slipping off of the tweezers so, again, make sure you hold it where you can stretch it and secure the end you're holding around the pole on the controller.

So easy to replace back buttons
Faultless….Followed the well laid out steps via YouTube and was able within 15 mins change out the broken back button.
Saved sending the controller back to Sony with would have taken ages and this price is just right.
Would totally recommend to anyone with the edge controller.

Sony will not fix the Edge Controller out of warranty so I was lucky to find this part. Videos online were easy to follow, needed manual dexterity to open the Edge Controller and install the part. I would recommend doing this in a well lit and clean area because the little screws, springs and various little parts can fall and would be difficult to find.

Perfect quick fix
Noticed one of my paddles wasn’t clicking very much anymore so purchased this repair kit, took it apart and one of the old modules was snapped on one side! Swapped it over with the new parts and it’s as good as new! Highly recommend
Have had to send my controller into Sony twice for the back paddle issue. Once the warranty was up, I was pretty much stuck to deal with it after the paddle failed for a third time. These replacements worked perfectly. Super stoked.

I’m very thankful I was able to find this part. And on top of that it was so easy to replace the broke LB button(I replaced both sides just to be safe). Gonna to use these guys for all my custom parts!!!

My dual sense edge is about maybe 6-8 months old and the other day while playing, I heard a loud click on my back right trigger. The trigger never felt right after that incident, and it was bothering me so much I considered just biting the bullet and purchasing another $200 dollar DSE controller but thankfully Extreme rate listened to their customers and developed this kit to replace the mechanisms! Once I replaced the parts, it feels like new again! Please note as another reviewer mentioned, this kit only works with the earlier revisions of the DSE controller, not the newer revision so please open your controller and compare the internals to the controller shown in their instructional video on YouTube prior to purchasing!

Finally replacment modules
My paddles broke about a year ago and ever since then I have been looking at ways to fix them, drilling holes and adding pieces of metal and getting it half working… finally gave up and just bought a new controller for 200, the day after I buy the controller these go on sale on amazon.. fml.. but in terms of the product these are perfect, I found them easy to install and my controller is back to like new agai
This came with all the parts and even additional parts in the event you lose a piece the kit also came with a link to a video tutorial that gives you a step by step guide on everything you need to do to make this repair I honestly Highly recommend this kit💯
