This is the Second swap of a Switch Controller I have done. The first time I was too excited and I think the buttons get stuck do to misalignment. THIS purchase, however, I took my time and it works and feels like it's OEM. I love the Look, the Feel, the Performance. It does come with the tools required, but there are MANY small parts that can easily be lost. If you do not take your time, you can misalign something and it won't feel as smooth. The product overall is FANTASTIC, it's just time consuming and I feel the difficulty of doing swap is a problem with Nintendo and not this product.

Nada mas abrir la caja, viene todo muy bien presentado, tornillos y destornilladores de sobra, carcasa y botones bien ordenados. El tacto de la carcasa es muy muy suave, da una sensacin de calidad muy buena. Me encanta el detalle hexagonal de los joysticks. Cambi la carcasa de splatoon por esta y ahora no quiero soltar el mando, increble
It was an ideal present for my stepfather who is a big fan of the SNES. The octagonal Sticks work perfectly (at the right angles and a good size, not to big not too small) and the Shell is really smooth and high quality.

He ledo comentarios de gente que dice que los octgonos son imprecisos y no es as. Soy jugador de Smash Competitivo y los palancazos los pillan bien. Sus octgonos vienen bien para los Tilts o las Recoverys de los personajes. Tambin lo uso para todos los juegos como el Fortnite y no molesta. Sin duda la marca no decepciona, se nota calidad en el material, pero no le doy 5 estrellas porque no encaja completamente la carcasa, es el nico defecto que le veo.
well made, octogonal gated sticks work really well for smash
bought it for the octogonal gates for easier smash ultimate play and it does make a big difference
Since it’s made by a 3rd party i was worried about the quality of the pieces.
1st: octagonal gates are really accurate. splits in 8 angles even. great for combos and to prevent wrong sticks inputs.
2nd: buttons are really good as well. they do feel like the original ones from the pro controller.
overall big improvement!
Excellent kit, everything you could need
I really, really like this kit. It looks and feels great. I like the texture and feel of it better than the original controller shell. It’s just a bit less slippery. This kit ships with extra screwdrivers in case you lose one, and the best part is, it comes with the appropriate screwdrivers for disassembly and re-assembly so that you don’t strip the screws. Buttons feel absolutely excellent, and I do think the eight way gates will help with smash based on the short playtime I’ve logged so far (N64 and GameCube controllers had eight way gates, so I don’t know why Nintendo dropped them on the pro-controllers). As some have said, the gates might be *slightly* off, but I’m not entirely sure it isn’t imperfections in the stick box. At any rate, it’s so minor that I can’t notice it at all in game play, and it does improve smash.
I wish I had known about this before I started working on my controller, because I originally was just going to take it apart and blow dust out of the stick boxes, but I guess I had the wrong screwdriver and stripped my screws badly. I had to drill one of them out, and at that point of course damages my original shell to the point where it couldn’t be re-used. So I went looking for a replacement shell and found this. If I’d have had this from the get go, I’d have never stripped that screw, but oh well, happy ending, I like this better than the original by far.
Anyway, to wrap this up, I’m planning to buy more products from ExtremeRate, such as shell and dock replacements to get a matching look. This stuff is just great.

Shell and buttons all feel great.
However I’d definitely recommend getting some replacement sticks along with it. Mine ended up looking a little funny with the old scratched and dirty sticks in the New shell with new buttons

This was bought as a birthday gift for my godson. He loved it & likes the fact you can just change parts rather than the whole thing. It looks really snazzy & so far is holding up well ( and believe me when I say it is well used!)
