Good apart from the fitting
There are no helpful or neat ways to hand this. All i can suggest is a brass capped screw but i would have preferred a double fixture to secure the blanket and something that would have made this look nice while hanging.
Good quality
I bought this one as I had heard so many bad reviews of cheaper ones, so I’m hoping this one, with a UK kite mark, will work in an emergency.
British standard
Can’t say much only that it was a good price , has the British standard which I wanted . Feels like the quality I’ve seen in my work settings , this is for domestic home use .
I bought one of these a little while back to hang in kitchen for peace of mind, like an idiot I left something flammable on top of the cooker and turned the wrong knob on, causing a not insubstantial fire. Grabbed the blanket and pulled the tabs down and it came out and unfolded itself in a trice, ready for use and prevented a more serious fire. It put the fire out straight away and kept the smoke enclosed so there wasn’t too much smoke damage. Of course you can only use it once so I bought a replacement straight away as now would not be without. Very good quality item, easy to use and does the job. I was very grateful to have it on hand and would recommend.
