Well Made / Good Sound
Stereo 3.5mm jack wired headphones, with a built in noise cancelling microphone. Considering at the time of this review, these are retailing for 16.99 delivered, that’s good value for these headphones circa this price point.
The build quality is good, they feel robust enough. The sound quality is adequate, very subjective to your own personal point of view. But for gaming and taking the cost into account they’re pretty good.
Excellent quality stand-out headset!
Really good reasonably priced headset, compatible with Xbox One Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Switch and PC. The headset has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microphone.
I have often found that the cheaper headsets on the market normally have terrible microphone quality, but I was very surprised by this one.
The actual headset is comfortable to wear, even for those longer gaming sessions. The cushioning is very comfortable – I have found that on others it can be okay for a short wear but often starts to hurt after a while. As a glasses wearer, it is awkward enough but I found it wasn’t an issue with this headset.
The RGB aspect is very cool and if you are a streamer or similar you will definitely be eye-catching on camera!
This is a great little headset, no complaints about my teammates not being able to hear me, looks snazzy and the audio quality is deep and immersive enough for those marathon gaming sessions (but don’t expect perfect audio).
For this price range, it’s superb.
4.5/5 – Excellent Product!
Astounding quality for such a low price
This is my review for the ‘IMYB Gaming Headset with Microphone for Pc, Xbox One Series X/s, Ps4, Ps5, Switch..’ I was sent this headset via Amazon Vine for my review.
As a long time PC gamer, I use a high end wired headset for my gaming and am often dismissive of cheaper headsets as the usually fall way short of what I would consider an acceptable experience, either by producing terrible audio or by having an awful mic, and then they are usually let down by poor build quality.
Not the IMYB headset however – I am astounded just how well this performs for the low price. This is a real competitor to many mid tier headsets.
The fit and feel is good, with exceptional cushioning on the ears. Audio is booming and great for gaming. This isnt an audiophile headset – but it doesnt need to be. Finally for the mic, I always get my friends to review these – its important that my team can hear me clearly. After a night of gaming this got the thumbs up. My friends had no issues understanding me, and reported that they barely noticed a difference.
As for the RGB – well… honestly – I don’t have people watch me when I game, and I cant see the headset when its on my head – so I didn’t plug it in, as my front USB ports were already occupied.
"IMYB" Wired Gaming Headse
This wired gaming headset delivers a fairly decent quality sound which whilst not comparable to an expensive wired headset, non the less has a good bass and clear trebles although I found the top end a not quite as crisp as I would have liked. It is an “over ear” headset so it does a reasonable job of blocking out external noise and the noise cancelling feature also helps with compensating for outside noise.
The build quality is nothing to write home about, it has a plastic headband and earphones with a microphone suspended over your mouth on a rotating limb and PU leather ear pads which aren’t the softest of fit, but are reasonably comfortable to wear over long periods of time. I do like the braided cable though which isn’t as susceptible to tangles as plastic ones. It splits off into two connections at the device end, one 35mm jack for the audio, and another USB-A connection to provide power to the lights I think, although it may also provide power to the headset in the form of a pre amp. I have only tested it out using the 35mm jack plugged into a tablet so far but I did plug it into my laptop with both the 35mm jack and the USB-A connected to see if the lights worked. They did but I haven’t compared the sound on my laptop with the sound on my tablet yet. If the USB-A connection is only to power the lights on the headset it would seem a bit daft, especially as you can’t see them whilst wearing them. Perhaps I am missing something though, as I don’t really “game” much and the USB-A connection may have other functions.
Going by the build quality and the quality of sound, this gaming headset is good value at the current price of 19.99 (-39% off), but I think I would be reluctant to pay the original price of 32.99.
Both the USB and 3.5mm audio jack need connecting.
Great sound, at first the led lighting did not function. The instructions do not make it clear the USB plug supplies the power for them, the 3.5mm jack connects mic and headphones.
Be aware if your audio socket is on the right of your laptop, you may require an extension for the USB.
Really good for sound quality, comfort it doesn’t hurt my head, really good and the mic is fantastic great for talking to your friends with and it looks so cute, also the price is really good for a set of headphones
They feel pretty sturdy and have a little weight to them, the overall game sound is excellent, a nice deep bass & the highs have clarity. I love the volume control placement, the volume dial is set back so no chance of accidental turns, every set I’ve had previously started to crackle almost immediately after first use but these do not, these are very nice. A Comfortable fit not too tight. Well worth the money.
I have a young gamer in the house who is very rough with electronics (8 year old boy). I wanted to give him something to use when gaming but something that wasn't going to break the bank. This works just great. Easy to use, he likes the lights, and he is able to game with his buddies and use voice chat. It doesn't sound the best, and I have heard some noise coming through when we tested it, but overall this is what I was looking for and it works well. You don't get a headset like this for perfect sound or noise-cancellation. This is a quick and cheap option for people on a budget, and it works great for that.

Not a Lot of Noise Cancellation, but Very Loud and Comfortable
These headphones are pretty comfortable on the ears and on top of the head. They are very loud, loud enough to put on a headphone stand on your desk, turn all the way up, and it’s as loud as my laptop speakers. The microphone works well and has an option to mute it on the cord. That’s also where the volume control is, both work as expected. The cord is long and seems strong since it’s a braided cord. The headphones and cord seem durable and long lasting. These headphones don’t have a lot of noise cancelling when the sound is off but they are decent when you have sound playing.
Overall I think these are good quality for gaming or whatever else you need them for. I’ve been using them while gaming on my pc and laptop and they have been working great. They are a good product, especially at this price.
I was very impressed with the build quality of this headphone for the price. It is also decently comfortable although my ears do get hot wearing it for extended gaming sessions. The boom mike works great and tucks away very nicely when not needed. The main drawback for me is the fact that it is not wireless, but for this price they would have to make certain sacrifices in features, so...

My kids are avid gamers, and we’ve gone through several Xbox and Turtle Beach branded headsets for my youngest. Despite their good quality, they didn’t last long because, well, kids can be a bit rough on things. While I’m not a gamer myself, my son says these headsets are just like his previous ones, which is a good thing. I had him help me rate them since he’s the primary user.
These gaming headsets are versatile, working with various devices, and providing immersive sound quality and clear communication with noise isolation. They’re comfortable with soft ear cushions and a flexible design, and they come with useful features like a braided cable and volume control. Perfect for young gamers.
Large size - great sound - great deal!!
Honestly for the price point I am very impressed. I thought these would sound like I was using my computer at the bottom of a well, but they’re very nearly as good as a set of headphones I own which cost several multiples of the price. Note that they do have the open format noise cancelling which provides better sound, but it’s a little less isolating than closed format – you can somewhat hear people talking next to you but they’d have to really be yelling for you to make out what they were saying, if that makes any sense.
At first I was slightly confused as to why they have two inputs, since I ordered these mostly to use with my Xbox, but it dawned on me how versatile they are. They plugged right into my computer and just worked – no drivers or complicated anything required. These will be very handy for the likes of Zoom calls if I’m trying to shut out ambient noise.
They are fairly bulky admittedly and are going to be somewhat hard to store. I’d need a BIG case for these, but who cares – since I’ll be using them a lot they can just sit out.
The cable that attaches to the game controller/computer/other device is sort of thick and bulky, but I like that, since my other headphones have static from the cable pulling partway out. I also like the BIG volume controller which will be easy to find while I’m in the thick of game play without having to hunt all over for it.
Honestly I really might buy another pair of these in another color just to have a backup in case my cat spills something on them or similar. I would absolutely order these again and am interested in whatever else is on offer from this manufacturer.
I use these for my PS5. I plug it directly into the controller and all audio (game and party chat) come through crystal clear. The volume dial and mute switch are both simple and easy to use. I do wish they made it (the dial and switch) more tactilely friendly. I find myself often looking down at the controller to fix the volume because I accidentally turned it down instead of up or unmuted when I meant to mute, etc. The game audio is great - especially for those FPS competitive games where hearing footsteps gives you an advantage. You DO hear the direction of the footsteps and if you're not gaming with a headset and are looking to start, let these kick you off in the right direction. I personally love that they're wired. While my gaming buddies all say, "ttyl, gotta charge my headset", I can power through and just keep playing.

Ordered this gaming headset the sound is pretty good. This is a corded headset has 3.5 mm jack or USB on the cord. The microphone picks up really well and has a mute button on the control on the cord. The cord is a generous 6.5 ft. The headset looks nice and is lightweight. As for noise cancelling they pick up others in background easily. For the value great headset.

Teenage son loves them
I got these for my teenage son and he loves them. He says they are better than some expensive ones he was gifted a few years ago. The volume goes really loud (as his mother, I’m not as thrilled about this part), the sound quality he reports is good, they are comfortable, and he was able to connect them easily to his laptop.
I’ll update this review later if he changes his mind but right now he says these are “amazing”.
