Good 'poloroid' style
I reviewed a number of instant cameras before settling on this one. It is easy to use one handed and has fun features like frames, moustaches, horns if you want them. I like the quality of the prints having previously used a zink paper printer. Bought through Warehouse, so the discount was the final push.

I love the fact you can print photos off your phone via the camera to get it as a polaroid, you do need to edit the image within the camera for the images to come out in a similar style, but generally don’t have anything bad to say about it. My first camera had a mechanical error and broke within the first week but I was sent out a replacement immediately and ive never had the same issue again!
Stone white is almost grey, the design is really like a stone, not so white.
The first one we got was faulty so it was returned and bought another. The fault was that every print out made several red vertical lines on the photo. Also the lens was not facing straight. The replacement camera is good. When charging, the LED (flash) stays on by design, which is very bright. It is also hard to tell the amount of films left (it is indicated by squares at the bottom of the screen. We like the print out quality (it looks retro compared to other companies prints which looks very sharp). It prints out fast and fun to see the photo develop.
This was on my watch list for well over a year. I had the mini 8 and really wanted the LiPlay as I was a bit fed up of having film wasted. The LiPlay let’s you decide if you want to print it. It also has filters and you can print images taken on your iPhone too! Amazing! I chose the white colour as I wanted a fresh look. This is also a chargable camera and not battery used. I am not disappointed.
Great mini camera with the ability to record movement and/or sound that anyone can access with the QR code – this is a game changer and is great for teens. Simple to use and stylish as well, this is one of the best instax minis to be made and is definitely worth its price.
My Daughter was impressed with the prints only downside is the price of the film it is expensive if they reduced the price of the film people would buy more so my Daughter would watch what she is printing. We bought a mini sd card to save the photos to give the option to get the print cheaper in digital format.
Santa got this for my daughter at Christmas. It is so easy to use and has the huge bonus of having a micro SD card so not everything needs to be printed! She loves it!! Slight downside is that the film is expensive, hence the importance of SD card versus earlier models that ONLY printed!
The ability to see the image before exposing the film on these hybrid Instax cameras makes for a completely different experience. While you loose the sometimes unpredictable nature of the analogue cameras, you’re not going to use up any film on iffy shots with this.
That said, the built in camera on this is rather average. It’s perfect for handing to someone for a quick picture, taking group shots etc, but it really shines as a printer with images taken with a good smartphone. I’d definitely take the versatility of this model over a print-only Instax device though.
It’s easy to use, versatile and convenient overall. A good addition to the range.
