Featuring automated exposure and flash controls, the instax WIDE 400 takes care of the image quality, while you focus on filling the wider frame to perfection.
With the iconic analog-style self-timer lever, wide group shots can now fit the whole group in. By rotating the dial, you can set four, six, eight or ten second increments before pressing the shutter button, then pose until the magic happens (with the LED countdown, it’s easy to keep track of time).
To get the perfect viewpoint, the instax WIDE 400 comes with a camera angle adjustment accessory. With two height options you can pick the angle you want, slide the accessory into the custom fit space under the camera, set the self-timer and step back into the frame.

Great Instant Camera
The camera has now been used for over 100 shots at multiple events. Here are a few of my remarks, both positive and negative:
– I love the wide-picture format of the printed images. I would not want anything smaller.
– Generally, the pictures look great, however, sometimes they become overexposed and look almost completely white. It’s hard to assess the focus point and exposure in bright scenes.
– The camera body is very large; not ideal when travelling, but I do like the design.
– The camera is loaded with photo packs for 10 shots. There is a small counter on the side that keeps track of the number of remaining shots, very handy.
– The selfie lens attachment feels very flimsy and does not attach well.
– The selfie timer is a bit confusing to operate; not sure if it’s possible to disable it once activated.
– It is not possible to disable the flash; the camera decides when it’s on or off.
– I would prefer if it was rechargeable instead of using external batteries
Overall very happy with the camera. It has produced a lot of great photos.
Bought this for my wedding and its a fantastic camera. Takes great shots, the picture size is ideal as the smaller Instax cameras produce very small photographs. Doesn't cope well with mixed exposures in the frame. So avoid bright backgrounds. The flash also works great. 100% would recommend.

Too big!!!
It’s quite big so I’m still learning how to hold it! I’m still in the process of figuring out how to use it, I’ve already lost some pics trying to take group selfies, but the camera is good and when I get the lens position right the quality is clear and perfect, I loved it!
Finally Lange Polaroids
I love it! The quality is great and the large Polaroid fotos are much more fun than the mini ones.
On negative side is the fact that the camera is very big and not practical for traveling.
I would recommend it !
Takes great photos, really excited to be able to get larger pictures than the Instax mini! Easy to use and set up, just like other Instax cameras.
Only negative is it’s quite bulky and heavy, and the lens can be stiff to twist open and close.
