Fiddly to set up!
This adapter works well, but I found quite difficult to set up!
It’s definitely a different experience being able to play the switch with a mouse and keyboard, think it will take a while for me to get the hang of it.
Allows CP to play like a PCMR.
If you’ve ever wanted to turn your console gaming experience into a keyboard-and-mouse extravaganza, the VX2 AimBox is your new best friend. This little gadget does everything except make you a sandwich (though I’m sure it’s working on that feature).
Precision: Your aim in COD and Rainbow Six Siege will be so sharp, you might start getting accused of hacking.
Compatibility: Works with PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Basically, if it’s a console, this adapter is ready to party.
Audio Interface: The 3.5mm audio interface means you can trash talk your opponents with crystal-clear clarity.
Setup: The setup process might require a PhD in engineering, but hey, who doesn’t love a good challenge?
Size: It’s small enough to lose in the abyss of your gaming setup, so keep an eye on it!
In conclusion, the VX2 AimBox is a must-have for any serious gamer looking to up their game.
Works OK, Pricey
This adapter for consoles works well enough. It has 3 USB slots, a USB C for power, and an app to configure it.
It’s a bit on the pricey side, but it does look good and is versatile enough for everything I’d want.
Useful adapte
Worked on my XBOXO and switch with no noticeable lag or delay , unfortunately you need a separate power supply to the device connected by USB but it really makes no difference. A worthwhile purchase if you take the time to set it up
Enhanced gaming experience
Switching to this keyboard and mouse adapter has made a noticeable difference in my gaming sessions. The setup was easy, and the built-in audio jack adds to the immersive experience. It’s compatible with a wide range of consoles, making it versatile for different gaming needs. The precision and response time are impressive, particularly in fast-paced games. Occasionally needing to recalibrate is a minor issue, but overall, it enhances my gameplay significantly.
Plug and play for me on Xbox Series X, though mouse sensitivity is far too low on max
My setup:
– Xbox Series X
– Official Controller
– VX2 connected to Xbox and Controller
– USB Type-C power cable from wall plug to VX2
– USB Keyboard and USB Mouse plugged into VX2
It was plug and play, and was able to start using it straight away. On the Xbox, the left side of your keyboard is what controls most of the buttons (WASD for movement, Space for A, C for B etc) – it’s all detailed in the manual, which covers bindings for each console it supports.
I was able to play most games pretty easily, but found that the mouse sensitivity is far too low for a casual gamer like me. My son likes play CS:GO with the very minimum sensitivity for better accuracy so maybe this would be ideal for gamers like him, but when I loaded up Minecraft, I had to drag the mouse upwards 5 times just to look up!
I downloaded the App (no login required) to my iPhone and was able to customise the light on the adapter (cycles by default) as well as try out various profiles for Minecraft, GTA and COD which were fine (aside from the mouse issue). You can also increase sensitivity in the app but it seemed to make hardly any difference for me so I gave up.
This would be a 5/5 for me as I prefer mouse & keyboard (PCMR), but I’ll score it a 4 as it does work, just suited more towards FPS for the type of players that love mouse sensitivity.
This adapter works fairly well but can be a bit complicated setting up. Play on consoles with keyboard and mouse is definitely different than playing with a controller and could take some getting used too. Overall it works pretty well if you take the time to set it up.
