Amazing piece of equipme
I have had this little thing for 5 days, and I am very impressed. Fast and quite, incomparably smoother than my i7 laptop. Installation was piece of cake (Windows 11 Pro are preinstalled). Excellent value.
Super fast and above my expectations
I purchased this item for my 13 year old daughter. I should admit that it is above my expectations. My child has a small bedroom thats why we chose this mini PC. It can be put anywhere and has a fantastic performance. She plays online games, she uses this mini PC for her school work.I highly recommend this mini gaming PC. It is fast and super functional.High speed, super wifi connection, very easy to install and use. We belive we will use it for more than 5 years and no additional espenses required.
Fantastic mini PC
This is the best desktop PC, I’ve ever owned, so powerful for something so small. I’m not a techno geek, but it does everything I need, and boots so fast, approx 6 seconds. Would definitely recommend, such a good buy.
Windows on mine kept crashing.
Every 5-10 minutes a message comes up saying “your system ran into a problem and needs to restart”.
Happens when I try and update Windows, update drivers, install something. I’ve tried re-installing Windows from local re-install, cloud download, recovery drive, with USB made via Windows Media Creation Tool. They all fail. Suspect faulty M.2 SSD drive inside. Going to try making a Windows To Go drive and see if it boots and runs OK from that. If it does then internal M.2 SSD must be faulty.
UPDATE.
I couldn’t get a Windows to Go drive to work on any PC. (Microsoft no longer support it). I ended up making a Linux bootable USB to test the PC with. Worked OK in Linux running from a USB stick. Eventually the PC stopped recognising the internal M.2 SSD drive. I ended up replacing the drive. Re-installed Windows 11 Pro from Windows 11 install USB stick. Computer is working OK now. Managed to run Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 on it. Changed my review from 1 star (due to the faulty drive) to 4 star now that it is working OK.
I didnt fancy spending millions on a laptop for mainly audio work, this caught my attention being an i7, with usb c video support which most in this price range and above dont have. It can happily run 3 displays. It runs ableton and everything ive tried has been a good experience. If your after a cheap pc this is hard to beat. As for the components, the ram is cheap but works fine, its super easy to upgrade if needed, the nvme is a cheap brand but works well. If it had higher end bits it wouldnt be such a good deal. I love this thing. The little pc is amazing! Such good value. I wanted it for audio work but it does everything really well. I would recommend it to everyone.
As a PC it's good. As a server, it's a bit more complicated!
I bought this to be a ProxMox Virtual Environment server, so I can run multiple fairly robust VMs on it. Those of you just looking for PCs can go to sleep now, it’s good 😉
Installed ProxMox VE with no problem, but as soon as I tried to boot it, it crashed “loading initial ramdisk”, so I assumed dodgy memory, but no problems found. I then tried to install VMWare ESXi. That booted to an extent but then crashed complaining CPU 6 was different from CPU 0. The intel i7 installed has 6 Performance-cores and 4 Efficient-cores – they’re different and VE don’t like. So I dissabled the efficient cores in BIOS and everything works! Fine ProxMox VE server now in production.
I purchased this mini PC in the evening and was delighted to see it arrive the next day around midday. However, after opening the package, I was disappointed to find that the box had a furry texture that had degraded into a sandy-like dust, which got everywhere. I then struggled to remove the PC from the packaging, as it was tightly wedged into the foam protective casing.Once I finally freed it, I inspected the PC, only to be further disappointed by a rattling sound. Carefully, I placed it back into the box to arrange a replacement. As I did, the glued lid snapped off, revealing the source of the rattle: the fan had come loose and was rattling around with two small screws.I started the return process and immediately ordered a new one, hoping that I had just been unlucky. The next day, my new mini PC arrived. After doing 20 press-ups to get ready, I tackled the challenge of extracting it from its escape room-like packaging, only to find that the lid was once again not properly attached—the glue wasn’t holding it on.At least there was no rattle this time. I decided to keep this one and simply glued the lid back on, as everything else seemed intact.I plugged everything in and powered it on, and I must say, for its size, this mini PC delivers impressive performance. It sits on my desk, hardly taking up any space, and handles flagship games and CPU-intensive programs simultaneously without breaking a sweat. It also starts up within 10 seconds. The WiFi performance is outstanding, nearly matching the speeds from my Starlink dish, which is faster than any other device I own. Now, I really love this mini PC and am happy to welcome it into the family, even if it had a bit of a rough start.
I was looking for a desktop PC that would be fast, small, energy efficient and quiet. I do a lot of 3D design, video editing and encoding, web browsing and document editing.
This PC is superb. It boots into Windows 11 in 6 seconds, which I have never seen before. CPU benchmark is 30% faster than my very expensive work laptop (checked using HWiNFO). I typically run it in power saver mode and in that case the PC is totally silent and the CPU uses 5W (checked using Core Temp). Only when I need the extra power, I select “high performance”. In that case, the power usage goes up to 30-40W and I can hear a gentle sound of the fan, but it is still very quiet.
CPU is 12th gen i7. I am glad that I did not go with the 13th or 14th generation, having heard about the voltage and corrosion issues Intel is currently having with their latest CPUs.
I am very impressed with this PC.
A powerhouse of a mini gaming pc
This really is an incredible pc and is as good as any tower pc for gaming. It’s also really nicely priced. Well worth a purchase. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a space saving hi powered pc.
I got this Mini PC so i could do some video editing and this little thing works flawlessly and doesn’t make a sound at all never have i heard the fan ramp up extremely fast my son plays games on it fortnight GTA and with a little tweaking with the settings GTA and fortnight work amazing.
i have a powerful laptop but it makes some right noises with the fan with the Mini PC i don’t hear it at all sometimes i have to check if i leave it turned on.
and with the nice box this little device is a perfect Christmas or birthdays prezzy my son loves it
i have let my son take this to his mothers to play on 10 mins in the box to his mothers and he is sorted
i haven’t checked to see if its easy upgradable as its perfect for my needs as i have checked its super easy to upgrade the RAM and HDD
would highly recommend 10/10 no need for a tower when you have this
Great performaccnce and value for money
I bought this for my father to replace his 11 year old laptop. It is way more than he needs, which is exactly what I wanted for him. It handles multiple high-res monitors with ease and everything is working brilliantly. The compact design makes it far preferable than a large desktop. It’s also perfectly quiet.
Fast, capable, near silent mini pc
Performance in a near silent tiny case that plays all the games, runs parallel intensive computing with ease.
It ran all the 3d games I threw at it with great visuals, breezed through the multi tasking and it’s only let down by the fact the sata port is not easily accessible to add an additional drive.
Great Specs
I’m not a techie or a geek, so I work on the theory that faster is better and more is better. This is fast and has more so I bought it. Saying that, now I’ve got it set up and running, I have a good feeling about this mini pc. All my previous purchases laptop, PC, mini PC have been Intel, not on purpose, just coincidental. This is my first AMD machine and it just feels more solid and smooth. I can’t and won’t argue specs and performance, this is my gut feeling. I might just look for AMD in future. A good purchase, a good choice in my opinion.
