Wow!
I’m so impressed with this laptop, it has exceeded my expectations, any game at ultra settings & ray tracing has worked perfectly, smooth and responsive, the 144hz IPS display is gorgeous.
Highly recommended
Exceptional
Bought this for high end gaming and it runs EVERYTHING I’ve played on it, From older titles like command and conquer to Ghost of tsushima. Ultra settings on Warzone with 144fps is a game changer, this laptop is worth every penny, and the fans aren’t that loud under a heavy load eithe
Yes it could be noisy and hot but a good build
I think the most important aspect of this laptop is the life span of the product. From a hands on experience I feel comfortable in saying it will last a long time. But that’s only if you can accept the heat and noise this thing creates and it’s battery is 1hour ? Maybe 2. It could play any game I threw at it no problem.
Don’t know if it is a fundamental flaw in the design or if its just windows 11 being windows 11, but the laptop has a few strange quirks that make it a little annoying to use, sometimes when connecting power the screen will turn off but will turn itself back on eventually, and has locked up 2 times with full fan speed after connecting the charger, but these things aside, when it is working normally it is a great laptop, runs games great, runs photoshop and other productivity workloads great (used for university work and gaming)
Can recommend if available on a discount like at the time of my purchase, can not recommend at full price due to aforementioned quirks.
So far so good, but only day 1.Strong,beautiful nicely built machine. The downside is…2 usb isn’t enough, the charging point were put on the Right side! Why?Don’t get it why.
So far so good.
I’ve been pretty happy with this purchase. The main issue I have with it is the low storage space but I will increase it in due time. It’s fast and runs very well. It hasn’t given me any issues yet.
This gaming laptop featuring a hardware combo of I7 12.65 GEN processor and the Nvidia RTX 4060 can handle 80% of latest AAA titles Valorant Fortnite FIFA23 at a considerable 80+ FPS on a combination of MID-HIGH settings, not only is it a great option for the average or all night gamer it can also handle light editing with ease.
Whilst this laptop is just above the entry gaming line it does have a few flaws, I’ll list its pros and cons below
PROS:
The back-lit blue (only) keyboard is really stylish and really useful if gaming or typing during late nights.
Due to its HDMI and 3.2 GEN usb type c (which supports DP alt direct mode.) the laptop can deliver a simultaneous 3 display image at the same time.
The laptop cooler boost option (found within the MSI Centre app.) Can extend the laptop’s components’ lifespan and keep them cool for longer even under continous strain from the heat.
CONS:
For the average gamer the FHD 1080P IPS in built screen is fine however if you’re a graphics and scenery lover this laptop isn’t for you.
Featuring only 2USB A ports peripheral connectivity is limiting,a USB hub can be purchased to tackle this.
Battery life is anywhere between 3.5 to 4hrs max depending on specific user tasks.
The featured speakers are decent but not great, though not much of an issue as headphones can be used.
My overall conclusion:
Whilst this laptop features great components certain aspects are what hold it back, however with the right extensive hardware it can be a beast of a rig, so in my opinion it’s worth a try.
Even on just opening the box I liked this laptop. I can’t quite explain why. I’ve had a number of laptops in the past and were always, I’ll get used to it.
The lights on the keyboard are pale teal which can be dimmed or turned off. The wsad keys are transparent so they are brighter. I’d prefer if they weren’t but that’s just my preference they still look good.
I don’t play AAA games, but some of the games I do play are running are sett to high and there are no issues, which I had occasionally before.
The major let down for this laptop is that more difficult to be upgraded as there is only one m2 ssd slot.
The reason for my marking it down. As an alternative I am using my spare ssd as an external drive and it’s working with only a few lagging issues especially for sims 4. I will put on to the c: drive which will resolve these issues.
