The plastic case of this product is monochrome black, not black and grey as the picture shows. The buttons, sticks and other controls work just fine. Unfortunately, where my right hand sits underneath the control, the case doesn’t fit perfectly, so there’s a bit of an outdent that’s pressing against my hand. It’s cheap, and it feels like it, but functionally-speaking it works absolutely fine. Great as a backup controller, but I’ll probably be upgrading to a genuine Microsoft one when I can afford to.
Bought this as a cheaper alternative to the branded controller. It works more or less the same, all the buttons and triggers are fine and nothing is loose, broken, or fragile. The only downside is a very slight delay in the response of the controller, compared to branded ones. Dedicated gamers might find that annoying.
The pad was ordered on Sunday and arrived Monday morning good start. Pad arrives open the box and it is in a plastic bag, pretty normal for a OEM product which is fine. Plug it into my PC and Win7 auto finds the drivers, Win! My afterglow pad took some messing around with drivers to work. Pad seems pretty sturdy although I am missing the Xbox logo on the home button it is just silver, not a problem though.
My only criticism is the cable is far too short for my lounge, this said I can solve this by simply using a USB extension cable (problem solved.)
All in all pleased with the product, not got a problem as of yet but only time will tell.
Bargain if your on a budget!
best controller i have had of amazon and arrived on time and due to most people on here complaining about this controller i would not agree it works just like the orgional controller and even tho this is bascially a copy you will be surprised how it feels just like the offical controller and be amazed how many games it play on the pc without having to go to the game setting 5 star brilliant controlle
o problems with controller , just to poor attitude of the driver who delivered it. in too much of a hurry left it with next door when he couldn’t wait a few seconds for me to get to the door I then saw him ans asked why he didn’t wait said something I couldn’t understand no ENGLISH…………!
