Little bit stiff But great!
I must admit I like that there a lot of beads to pick. It is a little bit stiff. Without being too ewwww. I like to press it down as if I’m squeezing a spot. I usually use two hands and it’s still a little hard to use that technique . I was making a review video I wasn’t doing my usual. I do like the ziplock bag its perfect for popping in my back without them getting lost to the abys of my bag. Anyway I do recommend them, they are really good!!
Work well but small
As other reviews also state these are quite small. There are 2 layers of beads but i picked through one ina single hour long meeting. That said you might be more restrained than me. Can’t really complain too much at the price and they are satisfying
Great picky pads
My younger daughter had asked me to get some of these for her which I did, but then thought they would benefit my older daughter too, so I got her this pack too.
There are 3 pads, they are very small, so easy to carry around in your bag, or even a pocket.
They are great for people with ADHD, Autism, and also those who like picking spots, pulling hair etc.
I would say they are great not just for children, but for adults too.
They are currently 8.99 for the 3 pads.
Okay. Less beads on one side but still hours of picking fu
My first time trying a picky pad. This was a nice item with 3 provided, each individually sealed, which is great. The silicone is the consistency I expected – not too hard like someone else said. The beads are all tiny, and a mix of sizes would have been better. Annoying, the beads are dense on one side only and less dense on the bottom side and not much in the middle of the thickness at all. Having said that, it takes a long time to pull out each tiny little bead, so you would still get hours of work out of each pad. Overall four stars but only if your preference is for tony beads. A bit larger would have been my preference with a mix of sizes.
Satisfying
I love the idea of this fidget toy which satisfies the urge to pick at my nails when anxious. For the price you get x3 discs although they are smaller than some of the product pictures suggest (6cm diameter). The discs are a softish silicone infused with tiny plastic beads. The idea is that you pick/squeeze the beads out (longer nails are useful here). It is a great concept but the drawback is that you end up with lots of tiny loose beads. Realistically you need somewhere to put the beads when using the item. It is satisfying but messy and wouldnt be great for travel. My 7yr old liked having a go but we ended up with beads everywhere. It is billed as re-useable and I guess the beads could be used for a craft project but they are tiny. Overall its a great idea and i do like playing with it even though its not very practical in reality.
