Looks great in a gaming room
I recently tried this Switch dock, and it’s been great for both home and travel use. It’s compact and has a cool retro design, which is a nice touch. Setting it up was straightforward, and it works perfectly for charging my Switch while I play on the big screen. The extra USB ports are handy for connecting controllers. It’s a solid choice if you need a reliable dock for your Nintendo Switch.

    Very retro!
I’m always on the hunt for nifty little accessories for my Nintendo Switch. So when I saw this retro-styled dock I thought this product would definitely fit the bill! The dock is a run-of-the-mill docking station. It has a HDMI port and a few USB ports for other connections. Whilst I think it is a decent docking station and serves its purpose, It may be a tad overpriced in my opinion.

That being said, I think it does look good next to my TV! Like a little arcade machine! If you like the style of the dock then I’d recommend this item to you.

Great for travel but maybe a bit too small?
My review is based around the received selling price of 22.99 (but currently unavailable)

    Pros:
    Small and compact
    Anti slip base
    Left and right handed versions
    Fair value

    Cons:
No supplied HDMI or power supply
Might be too small for prolonged gaming (hand cramp etc)

    PowerLead Switch TV Dock
This product was sent to me for review, as part of Amazon Vine. The below is my own real-world experience of using it.

In terms of quality, it appears to have been well-made – it has a robust construction, with a sleek finish boasting the fun ‘arcade-style’ controller details. The tiny buttons and coin slot are particularly fun to look at.

I have had no issues connecting my Switch with it, and there has also been no noticeable lag or resolution difficulties. Having multiple USB ports has been especially handy for plugging in additional controllers/accessories.

In summary, a good value item.

    Works well 😀
Got this to put in another room for when I want to use my Switch docked on a different TV without having the hassle of moving all the original dock.
This does a great job, doesn’t take up much room and works really well.
It’s easy to setup and connect and you can be gaming on another TV in a matter of minutes.
I also love the retro look to it as I am a retro games collector
At currently just over 20 I’d say it’s a fair price and if your looking to game in a different room and cannot be bothered with the messing around of moving the original dock then this is a great option for you.
Also if your original dock no longer works then this would be a great replacement.
Very happy with this item and definitely recommended

Portable HD Dock for Nintendo Switch with Retro Arcade Style
First off, let’s talk about the design. It has this cool retro arcade style that not only looks great but also adds a nostalgic charm to my gaming corner. The dock is compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around when I want to take my Switch to a friend’s house or on a trip.

Setting it up is a breeze. It connects seamlessly to my Nintendo Switch and delivers crisp HD video through the HDMI port. I’ve connected it to different TVs and monitors, and the picture quality is consistently clear and vibrant, which enhances the gaming experience significantly.

One of the standout features of this dock is its portability. Unlike the standard Switch dock, which is bulky and not convenient to carry, this one is perfect for travel. It fits neatly into my backpack alongside the Switch, so I can enjoy gaming on a bigger screen wherever I go.

Another thing I appreciate is the build quality. It feels sturdy and well-made, with ports that snugly hold the Switch and provide a secure connection. The HDMI port works flawlessly, and I haven’t experienced any issues with connectivity or signal dropouts.

Overall, I’m really happy with this portable HD dock. It combines a cool retro look with practical functionality, allowing me to enjoy my Nintendo Switch games on larger screens with ease. If you’re looking for a portable dock that adds style and convenience to your gaming setup, I highly recommend checking out this product.

    Decent 3rd Party Dock
Despite its arcade stick stylings, this is pretty much just a standard 3rd-party Switch dock, with the same pass-throughs and USB connections you’d find on most similar devices. I do like the design, and when you have the Switch docked without the JoyCons attached it does kinda look like an arcade cabinet with an oversized screen. Apart from that however it’s pretty much standard fare, without much additional functionality (other than a couple of extra pass-through USB ports. I was a bit disappointed that the mini joysick and buttons don’t actually move/click, but to be fair this isn’t advertised or suggested as a feature.

It fits a regular or OLED switch fine, though it doesn’t have a particularly solid grip, and the Switch could easily be knocked out if nudged at the wrong angle. Technically it does fit a Switch Lite, but it doesn’t seem to charge, so it’s not much use as anything other than a fancy non-charging stand for Switch Lite users.

It’s a decent 3rd party Switch dock, and looks good, but for the money there may be slightly cheaper alternatives out there – if you like the look of it then it’s a great buy, but otherwise you may want to consider some alternatives.

    Portable dock for Nintendo Switch
    Price when reviewed: 22.99.

This is a small plastic dock for a Nintendo Switch (Original or OLED) designed to look like an arcade game. It has ports on the back for an HDMI cable and a USB-C cable to provide power, and a USB-A port. There are 3 x USB A type ports, 1 on the back and 2 on the front of the dock to charge controllers etc.

It’s good to have a spare Nintendo Switch dock. I use the original dock with my laptop, via a video capture card. I have connected this Switch dock to the 2nd HDMI port on my desktop monitor for when I want to play on a larger screen.

This dock doesn’t come with either USB or HMDI cables which will be an extra expense if you don’t already have spares.

Setting up is easy. Plug an HDMI cable into the monitor and the dock, then plug a USB C cable into the dock. I used a cable plugged into a USB charging hub. The cable went in as expected without needing to use any force.

I couldn’t get the dock to work with a protective cover on the Switch. Once the cover was removed, I put the Nintendo Switch on the dock and it came on showing it was charging. I turned on the monitor and selected HDMI-2 and everything worked perfectly.

The dock is small making it very portable. It can be used as a tabletop stand with or without a charging cable as well as a dock for TV or monitor gaming. It can also be used without an HDMI cable for charging and playing in desktop mode.

Thankfully, the dock is plug and play because, as is common these days, the font used in the instruction leaflet is so small I’ll never be able to read.

This is a good 2nd/spare dock for a Nintendo Switch, and I can recommend it.
