Awesome plugs
So the setup is easy and the app is basic unless you pay a subscription.
Yet.
Going strong for less than a year.
Controlling shop lights, additional fan heater and hot tub.

Perfect for my spiders ligh
The plug is perfect for my spiders LED lights. Set on app when to turn on and when to turn off. Not to big either so fits behind the enclosures perfect without having to move anything. Great purchase and perfect for what I needed it for.
Not ESP-based
Nothing wrong with the product, but I was hoping to flash this Tuya device to another firmware. The controller chip (I took it apart) is not ESP-based, so this is not possible. Hopefully this saves someone else the bother.
Seems to work okay - with one big issue
I bought these to time a garage fan to come on during the night time cheap rate electricity. They seem to work okay, are very compact and do the job, however, the timer function on the Android App is a bit hit and miss. If there’s a timer set in the app it refuses to accept a new event without deleting the first timed event then re-entering the new timed event. Each time I tried to save the set timer it just wouldn’t do it without deleting the old one. Bit annoying but I’ve worked out how to do it. A major flaw though is that the sockets are round, so what’s the problem, they are too big and interfere/clash with certain switched 13A outlets. Other than that they seem to work, time will tell and I don’t think I’d risk them on a full 13A load either.
So far so good
Only arrived yesterday, but I connected one last night to use with my bedroom fan as I put it on when I go to bed but then find during the night I get to cold so have to get up to switch it off. Last night I could just grab my phone from next to me and do the fan.
Easy to set up, aesthetically pleasing and compact.
