    Reasonable microphone setup
This is a reasonable microphone setup – its decent value, decent quality and is plug and play. It is aimed at entry level and hits the mark. Good construction too.

    Crisp audio for creators
This microphone was a straightforward setup right out of the box, which meant I could dive into streaming with no delay. The sound quality is crisp, clear, and maintains the authenticity of my voice, whether I’m chatting with followers or recording a podcast. The RGB lighting adds a fun, personal touch to my setup, and the stable tripod keeps everything in place no matter how animated I get. It’s a reliable tool for anyone serious about their online audio presence.

    Not much to not like
This condenser microphone is a basic entry level mic, but I think it offers very good value for money.

The sound quality is more than comparable to other entry level mics and it’s easy to use with a sturdy tripod to support it.

    Not much to not like.

Cheap entry level mic just dont expect good quality
Comes in a plain retail box with a carrying pouch and usb cable.

This an entry level usb desk mic with stand, pop filter and shock mount that illuminates with a breath red green blue colour scheme when its on.
The pop filter arm is flexible and cheap so it can be difficult to bend it into the right position
without it flopping down, the shock mound is basically some rubber bands that hold the mic and function at a basic level but the mic can still pick up desk taps and vibrations.
Doing a test recording with audacity reveals lots of noise below -50db which is well below what you can hear but its there, and the use of a noise gate would be needed to be honest.

The price is cheap for a reason and while it works well enough and the recorded audio is passable for general use like zoom calls or as a kids first mic for games etc i would say there are far better options out there versus this but you would need to pay a bit more though.

This is a good microphone for serious gamers.

Good hands free sound and plugs directly into computer with USB.

The lighting effects are a bonus.

Includes tripod stand and pop filter. Looks very professional.

Compact microphone with discrete LED lighting
I really like this microphone. It connects using a single USB-A cable and it plugged and played on my Windows 11 PC. It comes ready build inside its carry bag and all you have to do is open out the tripod legs and adjust the pop filter. I really like the LED lighting which is limited to the microphone end and I snot very bright. The microphone itself is held on the stand using an “elasticated web”. This I assume is to avoid any sound being conducted through the desk to the microphone. A pretty good feature. In terms of sound pick up I had it sitting on the desk under the monitor while I was sitting on a chair and it could pick my voice up clearly. The only negative feature is the flexible arm used to hold the pop filter. While flexible it has a tendency to pull away from the position you place it in. I am not sure is it will give over time but it is manageable if you position it slightly past where you want it so it springs back to the desired position.

Overall, I think this is a really nice microphone and has all the main features.

    Sensitive and clea
I’ve been having problems with work calls since Microsoft updated Teams and it’s inbuilt background noise filter. I have massive widescreen monitors and sometimes when I’m on a call I need to sit back away from my laptop’s internal mic, which used to be fine prior to the upgrade.

Not any more..!!! This mic is far more sensitive than my internal mic and I think probably clearer too. I sat right back away from the mic (probably about 3-4 feet away) and it picked everything as clear as crystal and played back as demonstrated in the video.

It doesn’t take up to much space and has a really long USB cable (probably about 1.5 metres), so even if did need to reposition it, there’s plenty of cable to spare.

It has slow pulsing colour LED lights, which I thought might be distracting, but to be honest I can’t see them behind the pop filter and because it’s off to the side of my laptop, It can’t be seen on video calls either, so won’t be a distraction to whoever I’m talking to.

I like it… I tried starting a YouTube channel back in 2020 during lockdown and wanted a decent desktop mic, but they were cost prohibitive (The cheapest I could find back then was over fifty quid), so at just under 30 this seems like a bargain, with clear, crisp sound (even playing back through my rubbish laptop speakers).

I recommend anyone who needs a cheap but sensitive mic that they can put in a position that’s unobtrusive…. Not everyone wants to look like a pilot, gamer or YouTuber LOL.

    Hope you find this helpful.
