Pros:

Cons:
There’s a little lag when I first start the car while it’s connecting to my phone. Not a big deal but worth noting if you’re in a hurry.
Verdict:
I wasn’t expecting much from this Wireless CarPlay Adapter after reading mixed reviews for similar products. But this one really surprised me in a good way. Despite the little connection delay, having wireless CarPlay has been great. It’s made a big difference in how I use my car’s infotainment system. If it keeps working like this I’d definitely get one for my wife’s car.
Simple to set up and works well
This product works exactly as advertised. It has allows my wife to connect wirelessly to the CarPlay in her Peugeot. It was really easy to set up.
A couple of points which I have discovered which are not fault with this but I think with these adapters in general. Firstly the battery drain is quite high if you are using maps and playing audio. Secondly the device struggles to connect if you are still in range of your home WiFi as I believe the phone is looking for a network with internet access. The first thing is only a problem on longer journeys and the second thing is easily avoided by just waiting to hit connect until you are away from the house.
So overall I am impressed. For a very reasonable price this unit does what it claims and means the we no longer have to remove the phone from a bag or pocket in order to use the features of CarPlay.

This connected very easily with my phone very soon after plugging it into my car. It has ended up being one of the best things I’ve got in a long time. This takes away the need for me to physically connect my phone to car play and definitely makes my life easier. It comes with an adapter which allows for both USB and USB-C connectivity. To be honest I was not expecting much from this device – I had previously researched similar (at a higher price point) and reviews were mixed at best.
This however really surprised me – and in a good way – easily set up and so far is working pretty much flawlessly. I am surprised that more car makers do not have this functionality already built in.
I was fortunate to be supplied this free of charge under the Vine programme but if it continues to perform this well I would have no hesitation in buying another one for my wife’s car.
